This company was great. It was try number 5, after dealing with hard sells to rip up my basement floor taking hours, upsells, price increases, false warranties, wasting my time, this company was a breath of fresh air. They gave me a price (which was good) over the phone of which they honored. They did not try to upsell me at all, but simply offered me a choice, I could use Epoxy or the foam. They explained why the foam was better, and since had a lifetime warranty on either, we just used the foam. The guy did the work right there on the spot, and was done a few hours later, leaving no mess. We just had a huge rain, and no leaks... dry basement. These guys are the ones to hire... no sales people to waste your time measuring and calculating... just the person who does the work giving you an honest assessment and then doing it. Nice to see some of those still exist!

A few months ago we contacted a number of contractors to inspect our crumbling balconies for much needed repair. We decided on Cement Works, because they are very knowledgeable about balcony, brick repairs, and restoration. They took a sensible approach to repairing the balconies. Liz, Mark, Matt and Dan did a great job! We will have them back again next year.

It went well. They accommodated the timing that we needed. They were very good. Really people nice to work with. They always respond every time I called. They weren't pushy at all. They only do what you needed to have done. We have dealt with them for a while and everything turned out well.

Couldn't be happier with Cement Works! I called 3 companies for a quote and Cement Works was by far the most reasonable and most responsive. Liz kept in close contact with updates throughout the entire job. I was impressed how professional and responsive they were, especially compared to the 2 other companies I had talked with. Cement Works did a great job and I give them my highest recommendation!

A woman answered the phone and, when asked, politely informed me that we lived too far outside their geographical service area. I then proceeded to ask her a number of questions about crawlspaces, drain tile, and water. She answered ALL of my questions more completely and intelligently than ALL the other companies I've spoken with over the last few days. We saw some dark water spots and a slight bit of water in our crawl and I didn't know whether I should be running to spend big bucks installing an indoor drain tile system. I truly appreciated this person's courtesy and candor when it came to explaining water, when to worry & when not to. If I lived in this company's service area, I would call them FIRST if ever I needed assistance with foundation, drain tile, or concrete issues! Kudos for being so kind as to educate a person you were not even going to earn $1 from. Word of mouth is a powerful thing. :)

Would use them again. Received estimate for more work to be done. No pressure tactics.

fix 4 cracks in the basement

This company actually came recommended by our realtor. We were in the process of purchasing our current home and during the inspection a crack had been found in one of the foundation basement walls (unfinished basement). We negotiated with the sellers to have the crack repaired/sealed, and they agreed. At our real estate closing our realtor pointed out that the crack had simply been patched by a handy man using a very inexpensive product available at Home Depot. She encouraged us to ask for a complete job and gave us the name of Cement Works to take care of it. After calling the company and determining the cost of the job, the seller agreed to give us the additional $400 for the work to be done right. As soon as we closed on our home we called Cement Works to come out. They were prompt, professional and sealed the crack and included a lifetime warranty. Easy to work with and we felt really good about the quality job they did. Have already recommended them to several friends.

Our experience with CementWorks, LLC went fine. They came when they were supposed to and they did what they were supposed to, and I don't think it gets much better than that. There were companies who were less expensive.

We were getting a small stream of water through a crack in the crawl space wall due to a gutter issue and bad drainage but we should be in good shape now. Dan performed the repair for us. Liz returned our call quickly and got the repair set up. Dan did work for us in our prior home 10 years ago and did a great job once again. We would not hesitate to call Cementworks again.

We contacted Cementworks after the recent floods because we had a little seepage. The woman on the phone was very helpful and suggested some things to do to determine if fixing the cracks would stop the seepage. Dan came out as scheduled and gave us an estimate. After a talking with several contractors, we decided to go with Cementworks because they were the cheapest for the exact same work as the others were quoting. Also we had a personal recommendation for Cementworks. Dan came out and did the work in a few hours with no problems. We haven't had any big storms recently so I don't know if the seepage is stopped. I'll update this report when I have more information.
