Sturdy Deck & Fence stripped off all the old deck boards, railings and stairs. They then reinforced all the joists and replaced the floor boards in a beautiful pattern and upgraded the railings to include bowed metal balusters and solar post cap lights. The project turned out even better than I imagined! Al and his crew did an extremely skilled and professional job and left so mess whatsoever. I would absolutely recommend them!

We called Allen and he came out the next day to give us a quote and was out a couple weeks later to begin work. We told Allen what we were thinking and he drew up a plan that was perfect. Allen and his team were always there when they said they would be and worked hard to finish the job in a timely manner. We discovered that there were some rotted out old railroad ties under the deck that were holding back some of the ground from the body of the pool that needed to be replaced once the deck was torn down but Allen and his guys took care of that as well! We had a special request for the deck gate, we wanted it to be a gate we could slide back so that we didn't have a swinging door always in the way, and he delivered on that! I just can't say enough good things about Allen and his team and the work they did at our house! I am beyond pleased with the way the deck turned out and the guys were absolutely great to work with! I would recommend them to anyone and I would definitely use them again for future projects! It's been a couple weeks since they left and everyday my husband and I look out at the deck and just smile saying we have the best looking deck in the neighborhood! I am so excited to be able to throw a backyard party this summer!!! Can't wait to show this beauty off! Sturdy Deck is by far the best Angie's List find yet!!!

Al came over within hours of my call and gave me an estimate. When I heard his quote, I hired him. He came the following Monday and completed the work, Great job. Feel that I am safe when going across the deck now.

They did a professional job and worked straight through until they were done. They dug the post holes deeper than the original holes and dug out the bottom of the holes to form a bell shape that prevents the posts from pushing up in the future from the frost. The gate now closes and latches the way it was designed to. They cleaned up after the job was done. I am very satisfied with the work. The owner was polite and friendly and answered all my questions. I would use them for future fence repairs.

It was excellent, they went above and beyond. I had dogs and they worked with me. When one of the dogs had to go out they were very accommodating. They were excellent to work with. They even added stuff like the little caps on the fence posts that I didn't even purchased, let alone think about and they thought about them and just gave them to me. We did the fence last April and I called them back in April this year and I said I think we went a little too low and he came back and extended the gates. So that was excellent.
