Description of Work: I bought the parts needed which were 650.00. They did the install. I had the very fortunate luck to get Tom, who helped me with what I needed to purchase and did an excellent job on fixing the issue. I am using them again to install a new kitchen faucet, and of course requesting Tom. I am rather fussy, so if I liked them, that is saying something. Good luck all!

Description of Work: After getting a big "shpeel" from RJ about sewer spects, he disclosed that if they go to the house and arent able to do the work, its an $89 dollar charge. Wasnt happy with that considering there was no technical specifications given on the deal itself. So I cancelled.

Response from RJ Graham Plumbing Inc
Member was informed of what was needed to effectively rod a sewer under the deal that was purchased. We stated we needed an adequate accessible cleanout or sewer access to clean the line. Member did not know what he had or if he had an access. We stated that if we scheduled an appointment and went out to his location and he did not have a proper access and then there would be a trip charge. He would be able to get a refund through Angie's list but he would have to pay for our time to come out. This is why we say to do your research before purchasing a deal so you don't purchase something you don't need or can't use. There was no spheel, we told the member what was needed for the deal to work at his home. Whenever a deal is purchased we reiterate what is on the deal fine print and what it covers. We do this because every house is different and many houses were built without a proper access to the sewer line. We just want our customers to get resolution they expect when purchasing one of our deals. Also we don't control the content that is written in the deal. We can ad some things but the ads are written by Angie's list . We have asked for a "contact prior to purchase" line to be added in the deal to help members purchase the right deal. We were told this couldn't be done. So we have to explain after purchase and members get upset.

Response from RJ Graham Plumbing Inc
Member bought our $375 sump pump deal. The deal is for replacing the existing sump pump. This member did not have a sump pump at all. No pit ,no discharge piping nothing. She apparently flooded during the last rain storm and someone told her to get a sump pump put in. She obviously did not do any research or homework before buying the deal. She didn't even read the deal because it will tell you what it is for. So we get an "F" because the member fails to do their research and reading the offer before purchasing? That doesn't seem fair. But I guess it makes sense because when we did tell the member what she actually needed to solve the problem she was having she stopped listening. We apparently told her the same thing 2 other plumbers told her....... That she needed a flood control . We understand that the member probably heard her friends or relatives from the suburbs talking about how they didn't get water because they had a sump pump. So she figured that was all she needed . But all we did was give her the right information that she needed to solve her problem and told her she would be able to get a refund for the deal she purchased. I don't know what more we could have done.

Description of Work: Job went great! |Only minuses were could have left things a little cleaner, looked like he emptied his drop cloth right at the front door. And his estimate was for a 6 hour job that only took 3.5, but I still got charged the estimated amount. Did not seem right to me. So it came out to about $280 an hour or more. There was only PVC pipe and fittings involved as far as materials goes. I thought that was pretty expensive. But he was fast and very good.

Everything went very well.
Description of Work: I called in for a leaky pipe he checked and the problem was caulking around the shower faucet and then explained that I had other problems like our slow toilet and sinks were clogging and he fixed everything and put in a new toilet and was done sooner than I thought. He was very cautious about cleanliness and even disposed of our old toilet very happy with his work and how courteous he was. Will call again in future.
