I know little about plumbing. My only nagging question is, did I get the Angie's List discount. Thank you Angie's List and RJ Graham Plumbing.

Went very well. We called this morning and was able to get a technician to come out within 2 hours. He was on time and very polite. We expected to have to replace the pump (which would have been around $700 with the promotional price) but instead found out it was just an obstruction, which he was able to clean out and fix very quickly, even despite my 5-year old pestering him with questions the whole time. We appreciated the quick response time and honest fix.

We had an old toilet that finally decided to give up on us. We made the call, and this company was here within 2 hours with a brand new toilet. The whole process took less than half an hour. The serviceman was courteous and professional. He got right to work, took the old toilet out and carefully brought it to the garage, then he installed the new one. He double checked to make sure all was working well, and that was it. He took the old toilet with him for disposal. Couldn't ask for more.

My water meter is located under my stairwell. I could hear water spewing out all over. I had to call the Village where I live to shut the water off from the street. By the time they arrived I had about 4 inches of water that leaked through the floor down into the crawl space. I called RJ Plumbing who was extremely busy that day due to the cold weather. They said they could be out within 2 hours. I received a call about an hour and a half later saying they were on their way. When Ed arrived I asked him to call the Village to see what they wanted him to do. He replaced the pipe quickly & the Village turned the water back on. The Village came back the next day to install a new water meter but gave the plumber wrong instructions on what they wanted done so I had to call RJ Plumbing back & have them come out again. I asked for Ed again since he knew what was going on. Ed knew exactly what to do & put the water meter in for the Village to make sure everything worked properly. He didn't charge me for the 2nd visit since it wasn't my fault. I REALLY appreciate that! Thanks again Ed. I'll see you in the spring for my other projects.

And I LOVED how quickly and well this company communicated with me.

The guy on the phone told me someone would show up between 12 to 2. He showed up at 12 on the dot-extremely punctual. He got to work on the drain in our shower immediately. He was there for about 2 hours. My house has old pipes so it took him a while and he needed to get different rodding tools. He was extremely nice and professional and explained to us the problem which was hair. He also did tell us he couldn't give us a warranty due to the fact that our pipes were old galvanized. At least he told us that up front. He gave us a receipt which detailed the job he performed and also ran the shower for 10 minutes to make sure it was not backing up again. I thought the price was more than fair and I was worried it was going to cost more because of the length of time. I would highly recommend them.

Great. On time and professional.

First canceled on the Saturday, stating the drivers truck broke down. I understood, just bad luck. Rescheduled for the Tuesday morning. Came in and got the washing machine and bathroom done that day. Only problem there is he measured the washing machine, told me the washer and the dryer would fit best this certain way. He set up the water lines off of water heater. He finished, left. I set up the washer and dryer. It did not fit with the vent hose included. I got it in but am going to have to cut a new hole in the wall to put the permanent vent as it is smashed right now. When he came back on Thursday to do the kitchen sink, he stated that he just took it for granted the dryer was the same width as the washer. Sorry. He got the sink repaired, stated that he was not sure if the sink was rodded out completely. It was not and I had to have him back to rod it out the following week. It was done at no charge. Overall, he was better then any other contractor I have had, but I would not say they were excellent

The technician arrived on time, and was very careful when removing the old water heater. The install went great, and we had no issues with the services provided by RJ Graham Plumbing.

It went ok. i had asked if the company was experienced in winterizing and they said they were but when the plumber arrived he wasn't able to perform the work needed and I ended up having to pay him for simply turning the ater off which i could have done myself.

Overall, the experience was great. I would call them again for future service needs.

They did a good job. Jim was professional and knowledgeable. He knew what he was going and gave me recommendations on how to take of my hot water heater. He was very careful to keep his booties on while in my home.

They were very nice and courteous, but was unable to get the deal due to my tank not being the standard kind.

He arrived on time, got right to work and then encountered a problem. He had to go and bring back additional pipe and supports since the crack in the pipe was much larger so the whole piece of pipe from the second floor to the downstairs drain had to be replaced. He fixed everything and did not charge me for the additional supplies. He finished the project and then cleaned everything up. This is the second time I have used this company and they are really great to deal with. I will continue to use this company and I would recommend them to my family and friends

Our main water shutoff is in our attached garage (not good when outdoor temps reach arctic levels). The garage is not heated and the pipes are not insulated. The mistake I made was not leaving a faucet on at a slight trickle; if I had, this wouldn't have happened. This morning I heard what sounded like a hissing sound in the garage. There was water squirting out through one area of pipe that I could see and covered a large part of the garage floor and some of it had turned to ice. So, it probably burst during the night. I called RJ Graham this morning and was told someone would be out within a hour. The plumber arrived within that time and began working immediately. He located two areas of broken copper pipe - both were 90 degree elbows - and replaced them with new copper pipe. He completed the job quickly and was very professional. He gave me the old piping to show where the damage occurred. I hope we do not have to experience such a deep freeze as we did this week but if it does happen, I'll make sure to leave a faucet running slightly to avoid this problem. I want to note that two days ago, we woke up to no running water which means the pipes froze. I shut off the water at the main and used a hair dryer to heat up the pipes in garage near the main shutoff. After a few minutes, I turned on a faucet and we had running water again. I thought we were in the clear but the damage was probably done already when I neglected to leave a faucet trickling. RJ Graham responded immediately and I would definitely used them again.

I called RJ Graham because the temperature in one of my bathroom showers was either cold or extremely hot. The plumber arrived on time and put cloth footies on this shoes which I greatly appreciated since I just had wood flooring put down in my house. I explained the problem and he proceeded to pull the tub faucet apart and advised the part was broken and he did have one on the truck. The part was replaced and he was on his way in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately the same problem arose about 4 weeks later and I again called RJ Graham Plumbing and they responded immediately. This was Christmas Eve day and wasn't expecting them to come that day but they said the plumber was in the area and would be able to be there in about 2 hours. Again the plumber came out and pulled the faucet apart and noticed the part was again broken. He had to go to a big box store to get the part since their usual plumbing supply store was already closed for the holiday. He got back and replaced the part, at no charge, and was on his way. Again very professional and considerate. I will definitely call them again.

He came right when he said he would, and he did a good job of getting it done. Did some of the cleanup and didn't overcharge. Nice guy, will definitely use again.

They dug up and replaced the drain line from the cast iron pipe just outside of my house to the village main sewer line. The length of the excavation was approximately 45 feet. They also installed a clean-out near the house end of the new line. Since the drain line went under a side walk, the village required that a section of the side walk be dug up and replaced. They called J.U.L.I.E. to locate underground buried structures prior to doing the work. They obtained village permits and arranged for the village inspections. The work resolved problems caused by large tree roots at two locations along the drain line. Digging was done both by using a back-hoe and by hand. I feel that the excavation went well. There was minimal disruption of the front yard, owing in part to their narrow width back-hoe. They were careful to avoid a nearby water line. After the concrete at the new side walk section was poured, they cleaned up the area. They came back to remove the concrete form-work and barrier tape after the concrete cured.

I guess this isn't a big enough job to respond to my email or phone number information provided. I will go elsewhere for plumbing needs for both of my homes.

They did a great job. Everything has been great since. They came out, did it right away and everything was great the next day. Their price was good and reasonable in comparison to others. So far, there have been no more issues of water leaking. They were very responsive and very professional. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

If I could give them an A+ I would. Jim Gray, who did the work, did an incredible job. He made excellent suggestions and was very professional. I could not be happier with the work they did, and will be recommending them to my friends and family.
