I wanted to replace two 40 gal water heaters with one 50 gal water heater in my house as they were old and didn’t want them to rust out and flood my basement. I called several plumbers out to quote the job, but for me RJ Graham was the right choice. The plumber that came out was very professional. He answered all my questions, took pictures of the area for his notes and was thorough when quoting the job. They amount they quoted was reasonable. The price they quoted was exactly what i paid. The job was done well. The new water heater they installed is a Bradford White. They used crimp joints for the copper lines instead of soldering them together. So you don’t have to worry about them starting a fire in your house trying to solder the copper pipe. They also rerouted some gas lines as well. No leaks and the water heater has been working well so far. And the finished work looks nice as well. Would recommend them for another job.

He let us know that there was a problem with the dishwasher. Given that I was getting a new one the next week. We decided not to pursue this issue. He did not charge for the visit.

Got to me as soon as possible and were one of the few plumbers that would take the job on a week where the wind chills were around 0 - 10 degrees. Said it would take two days, got it done and passed inspection in one day. 2 year guaranty. Very fair price relative to the quotes received from other companies. Was very satisfied.

Work was completed to satisfaction but drywall had to be cut out in ceiling to install new pipes. They do not repair any drywall that has to be cut. However, this was explained prior to cutting.

Our hot water tank started gushing water at 10:30 on a Thursday night. Yikes! We were heading out of town the next afternoon, so we needed urgent help. While my husband dealt with the hot water heater, I jumped on Angie's list to find a plumber. I sent the bid out, noting we needed somebody Friday am. RJ Graham was the first to respond. I was asked a few questions. I sent a pic of my current water heater, and RJG was able to confirm somebody would be out the next day between 10 and noon. As promised, they showed up at 11:30 and went right to work. The team they sent out advised me of the issues with the current installation and how they will fix it. While one plumber was taking the old unit out and draining it, the 2nd plumber went to pick up the water heater we needed. Everything was done quickly, The plumbers were friendly, professional, and helpful. They took the time to explain everything to us, and cleaned up after their work. Despite the "urgency" of our situation, I feel we were given a fair price.

The plumber came on time. was pleasant and professional and got right to work., completing both jobs quickly. In less than 48 hours after I first requested quotes for my nonemergency projects, the work was done...and at a price that fell well within Angie's List pricing guide. I'm very happy with the service.

We live in a three story house on top of a 60 foot dune. Water pressure at the level of the house is a trickle. We had a 13 year old pump that was not maintaining needed pressure and the made the noise of a steam locomotive when running. We contacted R.J. Graham. Even though they are located in the western suburbs of Chicago, about two hours away, they were on hand to examine the situation within days. We needed to replace the pump and compression tank. It took about a week for them to acquire the equipment and schedule the installation. Three plumbers removed the old pump and installed the new in less than eight hours. The results have been far better than expected. Pressure is better than it had ever been and the pump is unbelievably quiet. The workers were highly competent, engaging, and informative. My wife and I are delighted to have found R.J. Graham and grateful that they have expanded their service into northwest Indiana.

It went well. The plumbers were prompt, efficient and professional. The job was more involved than what was quoted, but they informed me that this may be the case when I signed the contract. I would hire again.

1st job: Fred and Jeff are the BEST! The take out of the old hot water heater / to the installation of the new one was better than I had ever expected. They answered all questions. 2nd job: I was very concerned about this one because it involved cutting into the wall to obtain access to the pipe problem. Again, this went 100% better than expected. Fred and Jeff work great together and should always be a team. Communication with June in the office was never a problem. Fred's piping looks like a work of art. He completes the job as if he was working in his own home. The hole that was needed to be cut into the wall was cut at a minimum to make fixing it easier. I wish Fred did drywall repair also.

It was determined that the sump sump had burned out. It was replaced under warranty. I will always call RJ Graham Plumbing Inc for all future plumbing needs

He spent most of the afternoon working on it and it went well. I had done research so I kind of had an idea of what to expect. He's very honest and straight forward.

Excellent. Installing clean-out involved going down through 6" of concrete on garage floor, digging out 3.5 or 4' of fill, installing the clean-out with cap, rod out of blockage, replacing fill, and replacing concrete with poured concrete and clean-up. Thorough job, very reasonable, good warranty. Estimate was reasonable, but we were charged substantially less than estimate because materials and time came to less than originally estimated. We used this company before on an unrelated matter and will use them again for our plumbing needs in the future.

They came right out and diagnosed the problem and told me it would only cost me about $5 to fix it. They didn't even charge me for the service call. That type of service and honesty is to be commended.
