Description of Work: I had so many over grown bushes (approx. 20+ bushes and some 12-15 feet tall) that needed to be taken out (all the bush roots were also dug up)but no other landscaper wanted to do it unless I was putting bushes back in. We did not want to rush into what we wanted to do and Hook's landscaping said that was fine and would be happy to help with our project when we were ready.

Description of Work: Hooks has completely revamped our outside. A new paver patio, all new vegetation around the entire house has made our property seem like a brand new home. The work was done in the 3-day time frame and is exceptional! I will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: The best landscapers I've dealth with, here's why: I'm in sales, & I own my own business, so I instinctively know the difference between someone trying to 'sell me', and someone thoroughly caring about providing a product/service that suits me. When Cathy came out to give me an estimate, she thorougly cared about making sure that the work she was hoping to do would result in us being impressed. I had ideas. She could've gone for the 'easy' sale, quoted 'my ideas', and give me a price. She didn't. She didn't like my ideas. I'm glad she didn't. She had a better vision. We trusted her, and we're glad we did. Her sincerity came across so strongly, we didn't feel the need to compare with other landscapers. I'm impressed with the job they did, and I'm impressed with the time Cathy has spent with us to make sure we understand how to maintain not only the new landscape, but our existing landscape as well. She's a wealth of information, and she wasn't hesitant to share it. Her time was greatly appreciated, knowing how competitve the landscaping industry is. The crew works quickly & efficiently. The communication was great. The end result was flawless. Higly recommended.

Description of Work: Chris and his crews have been doing our landscape maintenance, mostly trimming and mulching, for years. Last year he reset our 10+year brick pavers ) installed by someone else) and cleaned them - they look great. This spring we needed to replant some areas disturbed by foundation work around about 1/3 of our large ranch. He picked some great perennials with the colors I was looking for to provide us with a colorful, low maintenance makeover. We got a "virtual plan" and it looks just like the proposal.

Description of Work: They removed old bushes. Built an 84 foot retaining wall with cap. Installed 20 ft of drain tile with outlet, in place of 2 gutters. Put in new bushes, landscape fabric, and filled in with 3 tons of landscape stone.

Description of Work: I used the services of Hook's Landscaping. They picked up some stone in a garden area and replaced it with plants and mulch.
