EMERALD BLOOM LANDSCAPING

Excellent results.

I could not have asked for a better landscaper. When Frank came for the estimate he took the time to explain what was going to have to be done to give me a great looking wall. After the estimate was submitted and accepted he directed me to the supplier where I could look at a multitude of brick choices and actually see what they looked like, not just pictures. I had to delay the start of the wall in order to have some work done on my driveway. Frank was very patient. Once that work was done he immediately worked my job into his schedule. Showed up on a Monday morning as scheduled. Removed the old wall( 125ft of timber) and prepped the area for construction. This included having to remove approximately 2ft of dirt back from the wall site. At the end of the day you could only tell that Frank and his crew had been there because of the piles of dirt( this was all going to be reused) in my driveway. The rest of the area was basically spotless. On days 2 and 3 Frank and his crew ( 3 more men) built a 125ft wal of brick including laying down drainage behind the wall, backfilling as the wall went up with a dirt and gravel mix, and capping the wall. And a beautiful wall it is. Frank also picked out the color of the brick. I had picked the brick, but when asked by Frank what color I left it to him. I said " You have done a hundred of these. You know my house color. Pick what you think would look good." He did a fantastic job. He and his crew are to be commended. Without a doubt any other landscaping work I would ever do would be done by Emerald Bloom Landscaping.

We initially hired Emerald Bloom for a small landscaping project a few years back. It went well so we hired them to do a major overhaul of our old patio and a few other minor landscaping upgrades. Once again we were extremely pleased. We hire them to do various lawn maintenance on a regular basis and will continue to do so a long as they are in business.

What I feel like they could have done better is the estimate and what they did. The guy I talked to about the estimate had much more detailed than what they actually did.

Went well but not in my price range for now.

Frank was awesome to work with and his crew is very talented. I will definitely wok with Emerald Bloom again.

Emerald Bloom Landscaping installed a French Drain and trimmed the landscape around my home. Everything looks absolutely beautiful! The workers were professional, courteous, efficient, and highly skilled. They were also well-instructed on the work they were scheduled to perform. My husband and I are very pleased and plan to use EB again for fall trimming and other work.

Frank and his crew were terrific. The work was completed in one day! I am very pleased. I have already recommended Emerald Bloom Landscaping to a friend and will continue to do so.

They were outstanding. They were very prompt in returning my call. A guy came over the next day I called them and they started the work a week later. They have very creative ideas, very thorough in laying out the plan and the estimate and very prompt in their work. I wanted a pergola put in which we couldn't find anything local which suited my taste. So they went online and found one and ordered it. They really worked with me to satisfy me with what I needed. Very polite people and it was a great experience working with them. They were really on top of things and they were very easy to work with. I was very pleased with them. They did a beautiful job.

Had to call them back a few times to fill gaps with dirt left around patio and after a week weeds starting growing. I don't like to call contractors back to correct what should have been done right the first time.'

They removed the overgrown existing landscaping in front of our home and replaced it with new, easy-to-maintain bushes and sod. The work was completed exactly as we had agreed upon, and we are very pleased with their work. We will probably have them back next year and have them do some additional work on the sides and rear of our home.

They did an exceptional job. They rebuilt the downspout and evened out the brick path.

Emerald Bloom was very accommodating to my schedule and modified the scope of work and quote based on feedback. I received exactly what I expected.

In July, Frank, from Emerald Bloom , gave the quote on the project. Kill and remove grass/weeds from 38000 sq.ft. Add 56 yards of black dirt, grade level, pick up and plant four trees [that I purchase at Teerling nursery], reseed newly graded area. Frank sent a detailed contract within a few days. I was to put 50% down prior to the start of the project. I was a little leary about sending a check two months before the job was to start. Frank wanted to plant in early fall and not when it was warm. The check was held until the start of the job. I was kept abreast of all that was going on before and during the project. I had a new well pump and an irrigation system installed. Frank was very acomadating in working around their schedule. At the end of the job, everything was picked up and the grass area where the equipment drove over was filled in and seeded.

I really liked Emerald Bloom landscaping. The owner Frank is very creative and personable. We bought a house with very blah landscaping in the front and nothing in the back. We wanted a minimalist zen design. Frank came up with a very beautiful and unique design for the front and sides of the house. It came out better than I imagined. I love sitting on my new patio! I plan to have hire him again in the fall to add to the planting beds in the back yard.

Setting up the appointment was easy and Frank was very friendly, however, on the day of the appointment no one showed up. I tried calling the office, but the office was closed. I called the next day, just to confirm I hadn't written the wrong date. I was told that I was right about the day and received an apology. The woman who answered the phone was very polite. I was told that my appointment was probably overlooked due to a lot of appointments and was asked if i would like to reschedule. I declined.

They were fantastic. I worked with a gentleman called Frank. ?He came out here to give me an estimate and listened to my ideas. I had a rough estimate of what I thought I wanted and he was able to incorporate everything that I wanted and also throw in his ideas. I didn't feel that he pushed anything. He had samples for me to look at. We had a week of terrible rainstorms and he called me everyday until he showed up. Everything was clean and neat.

Big mistake going with Emerald Bloom. I solicited offers from several contractors and ended up going with Frank because he seemed really sincere and fair and sounded like he really knew what he was talking about. The job started off Ok and then turned for the worst. Frank made excuse after excuse and flat out lied about he work and the material. I had to take 2 days off of work to supervise Frank and his crew because he tried to cut corners where ever he can. The landscape fabric is exposed in several areas; bullet edgers are shifting and edging plastic is coming up. The quality of the job is poor and the excuse I got was that its landscaping and it shifts because of the weather and wind. The real problem is short changing in material; for example the landscaping beds have less than an inch of rock in some areas. Frank also promised my wife that he would be in spiral shrub in the front of home and never installed it.

Unable to reach the company to schedule estimate

They did a good job and they did everything correctly. There were three people here doing the work and it took about 3 hours to complete. Scheduling an appointment was just fine.

Frank and his crew arrived on time and immediately began to work at removing the old patio. The work went very smoothly and the new paver patio is gorgeous. It's a very large area and Frank gave me a fair price for the job. He and four of his crew worked for two days to get it done. I was surprised at how quickly they were able to get the new patio installed. They did most of the work by hand only using the bobcat for the removal of the old patio. So, there wasn't much damage to the existing lawn that needed to be repaired. Frank also sent two of his crew on the third day to clean up and install the polymeric sand. That took about three hours. Frank was there to supervise the work most of the time during the patio removal and installation. I was very satisfied with the work done and will call Frank for all my landscape needs in the future. I have also employed Frank for two other small previous landscape projects and was satisfied then too.

Frank was prompt and efficient. His crew got everything done in only a day and a half. He was very polite and was reasonably priced. He gave his opinions, but didn't try to force anything extra on us. The crew also made sure to clean up everything before they left. We're already getting a quote from them for more work! We would definitely recommend going with them!

Frank did an excellent job of redesigning our front yard. We were trying to minimize the cost so Frank reused all of our existing plants and shrubs including annuals. Our shrubs were trimmed and some were moved to different spots in the yard. They brought in two new trees and eight large shrubs, installed about 20 yards of sod, installed soaker hoses in 5 of the front yard beds, and mulched 7 beds. Frank took our ideas and improved on all of them, giving us options we had not even though of. We are going to use them again this coming spring to install a backyard brick patio. We did talk to another landscape firm but didn't use them because of their negativity. We ask them to do the same things that Frank did for us and all they said was it can't be done, we'll have to tear out the plants and throw them away. I glad we called Frank first.

They did the job they said they were going to do. They were on time and they did a nice job.

Frank and his crew are excellent. I have had trouble finding a solid landscaping company in the past but am really satisfied with these guys. This is yet another family owned company that works really hard and is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Frank was very flexible when it came to changing a couple of things once the job began and then he noticed that the drain tiles had become disconnected from the gutters and repaired them at a nominal charge. He followed up with me and I am continuing to work with him and his crew. They are great landscapers and Frank has an eye for design. In fact, the neighbor down the street saw the way in which they had trimmed all of my trees and hedges and asked him to do some work for him as well. These guys know their stuff.
