Mike was terrific to work with. He was a lifesaver for me personally. I took on the massive responsibility of remodeling our master bathroom on my own. I had never done anything like that before (and I probably never will), although in the end it all turned out great. I called Mike to come and help me with tiling the shower pan and niche where my framing work was far from perfect and it needed a pro to make the tile look good. Well, Mike did just that. The tile in my bathroom looks beautiful now. Although I was impressed with Mike's quality of work (no surprise there, he's been doing this for 30 years), there were two other qualities that made him special in my mind. 1. His service/help mindset - Mike really helped me out and I think he knew that although this was a fairly minor job for him it had a huge impact on my whole project. A couple of other contractors I talked to either didn't show up or were unwilling to do the job because it was small. Some insulted my work. I mean, that's fine, I know it's not perfect, but really? Mike was very kind and worked around my (many) imperfections. 2. His word - Mike said that he was going to come, and he came. He said he was going to come on Thursday and he showed up on Thursday. I LOVE that trait since reliable contractors are very hard to find (in my opinion). Well, you can count on Mike being reliable. I would wholeheartedly use Mike again for any tiling projects I might have.

Mike was terrific. Our old and dated kitchen counter tiles were broken but we couldn't do a major solid surface upgrade right now. Mike suggested using larger tiles to reduce grout lines and improve overall look. This gave us a budget-friendly option to not just repair but modernize a little. Great interim step. He came out quickly to provide a quote, was here when he said he'd be to do the job, did great work and charged a fair price. I would definitely use Mike again.
Description of Work: Removed old kitchen counter tiles, installed new counter tiles.
