TAYLOR GARAGES INC

Late in 2014, Taylor Garages, Inc. poured a concrete foundation and built a 30' X 30' detached garage behind our house. We paid the owner $33,000 in 3 payments of $11,000 each. The invoice has been paid in full. The main issue now is that the concrete immediately cracked all across the floor and continues to have more "spiderweb" cracks each day. The owner of Taylor Garages, Inc., Art Beshears, came back out in May 2015 and offered to pay for Epoxy to be applied, in order to prevent further cracking. We have been ignored since that time. His mantra has become, "I am short on funds." We have gotten estimates from other contractors for repairing our foundation, and they have each pointed out the reasons why the floor is cracking - all due to poor workmanship by Taylor Garages, Inc. The concrete is going to have to be re-cut and corrected. We plan to have Epoxy applied to the floor, after it has been repaired - to, hopefully, prevent further damage. We have spoken to our attorney regarding this matter. To our shock, and according to court records, Taylor Garages, Inc. has much litigation pending and several other unsatisfied judgments against them, so it appears this is just the way the owner does business, We were hoping to resolve this matter, but we no longer trust Taylor Garages, Inc. to honor their word. We paid him, in good faith, but we would NEVER AGAIN hire Taylor Garages, Inc. to do ANY type of work on our property.

He was very nice and professional. Disappointed we never heard from him again.

didnt keep promise to be first garage to build this spring.poor concrete job , poor finishing job on concrete...already cracking...scratched garage doors concrete on side of house and hopper windows in house...promised to get product to clean windos never happened... civil suit being filed soon

I contacted Taylor Garages in September about the work I wanted done. Frank Beshears made the preliminary calculations and measurements. He came to my home and looked over the site made suggestions and learned exactly what it was I wanted done. He then wrote up the contract and I signed it that day. They would get all the necessary permits and I would reimburse them. I wrote a check for half the cost with the remainder to be paid upon completion of the work. He said the work should be done by the end of October. Unfortunately he was a bit off on that calculation. It was not until the third week in November that they began work. Although I was getting somewhat concerned about the weather by the middle of November, Mother Nature was kind and the weather was good through November. The actual work was subcontracted to Sooner Construction. When Sooner arrived they looked over the site and noted some drainage problems that would be caused by my original plan and made suggestions to alleviate these problems which I approved. They then got busy. Occasionally they would knock on the door and ask about how I wanted them to handle various minor problems that arose as the job progressed. It took two days to remove the old material and prepare the site and forms to pour the new concrete which was then poured on the third day. The fourth day the crew removed the forms, back filled around the new concrete and cleaned up the site. By the end of the week I had my new driveway, sidewalk and patio done. That weekend Frank stop by and looked over the work with me and I paid him the outstanding balance and for the permits. Other than the late start I was very satisfied with the work done and the way I was treated by both Taylor and the subcontractor. The work was well done, they asked for and listened to my input and followed my wishes to the letter. I had Taylor build my garage four years ago and they did an outstanding job at that time as well. I would definitely recommend them for any construction work you may want done.
