Absolutely outstanding. Safe, courteous and conscientious workers, excellent craftsmanship, and very reasonable prices considering the scope of the work and set-up required (a 35 foot scaffold system that was quite impressive on its own). We now have peace of mind and a warm sense of satisfaction. Todd and his crew are the best, hands-down.

Working with the Chimney Doctor was an excellent experience from beginning to end. They were prompt, efficient, and meticulous in their work and clean-up. Todd was extremely responsive in all communications. He even went the extra step of videoing the work done when I was out of town, to be sure I understood what had been accomplished and how the final product looked. I would definitely use his services again.

Todd (The Chimney Doctor) performed the chimney inspection when we were first purchasing our house. He was very helpful and provided great information about what needed to be done sooner rather than later. Five years later we decided to bite the bullet and get the top of our chimney rebuilt (The original design was not very durable and several bricks began breaking). Todd came out and talked through the options and told us what he thought would be the best and longest-lasting fix. He was very low pressure and did not try to push the sale. Once we agreed to have the work done, they got started within about a week. The work that Todd's crew did was exceptional and they were very courteous. Since the original brick on our chimney was no longer made, they were able to put in a nice transition from old brick to new brick. They also redid the flashing around the base of the chimney and installed a limestone cap. Throughout the process they showed a high level of attention to detail and made sure everything was done as well as it could be. I have no doubt that the chimney will be trouble free from here on out.

I was selling my house and a home inspection turned up a rusted chimney cap that needed to be replaced. I tried calling many other chimney service providers, but couldn't get anyone else to come out in the timeframe needed. Of everyone I called, Todd was the only one who was responsive. He was able to quickly give me a quote, then have the work done right away. I appreciated that Todd was upfront that he only used a slightly more expensive stainless steel cap and not galvanized because of the better finished product. Given the time crunch from the house sale and the fact that our roof and chimney are extremely high, requring extra scaffolding, Todd and his crew did a fantastic job! I would definitely use them again.

Todd's service is great. I'd purchased this house a year ago and my realtor had recommended The Chimney Doctor to inspect the chimney and fireplace. At that time, he found a few things that needed repaired and things were taken care of. SInce this was such a harsh winter, I wanted the chimney, flashing, etc. inspected so there would be no surprises. Todd gave a time from to be at my house between 10:00a.m. and noon. He arrived at the house a little after ten. He was very concientious about my property when he checked out the fireplace. Todd told me that he thought I could wait a couple of more years to have the chimney checked again. Overall, this was a very good service provider.

Great to work with! Todd was easy to get a hold of, and came with two other workers to inspect and clean my wood burning fireplace. They were very professional and did a great job. The difference in before and after was truly dramatic.

Excellent work, fast, and reasonable.

The Chimney Doctor cleaned and examined my fireplace, installed 2 new caps on the chimney, replaced a valve, gas starter pipe and gas logs. Todd was great. He didn't try to sell me things I didn't need and gave me options on other services. He was professional, prompt and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. I would not hesitate to call him again.

Since the bricks are old, they showed me a choice of bricks to blend with the current ones, we picked one and it looks great. There was more damage than they originally thought, including water seeping under the roof tiles and rotting the plywood. That was all taken care of. Approximately 1/5th of the roof needed to have the plywood and tiles relplaced. This was done at no extra cost to us. There was no mess. Everything was cleaned up as the job was being completed each day. We now have copper fashing at the base of the chimney and under the tiles around the chimney. We are definately pleased and would use the Chimney Doctor again if the need arose. We have a guarentee that there will be no leaks and that is wonderful.

I had to call the provider again after my initial call since I hadn't heard from him. He then came out the next day and did an excellent job.

They came out exactly when they said they would and did all the work. They gave us and estimate and told us when they would be there to fix it and that was exactly when they came. They did the whole work, even what they had to come through the house and do, without leaving any dirt at all. We would highly recommend them to anybody. They finished the work today, but started last week. They said that if we lit a fire in there, we would have burn the house down and we had never lit a fire since we lived here. It was full of bird nests from top to bottom and the cap did not fit, so it had to be custom made to keep the birds out. It just looks wonderful and they said that we can use it as much as we like. These guys work for the fire department. Everything looks wonderful.

Overall it went very well! Pretty much explained everything in previous paragraph. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area requiring chimney work! He was right on time and done within an hour. Very clean, prompt and professional.

I was looking for information on what was involved with a chimney sweep service, so I called The Chimney Doctor based on reviews from Angie's List. Todd answered and explained the process, let me know the cost, and was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had. We then worked on scheduling a time, and since I was at home on vacation, he told me that he could make it later that day. When they came, they were extremely friendly and took exceptional care of my home and setting everything up to keep it clean. It was even raining that day, so they were extra careful not to make a mess while walking in and out of the house. Throughout the sweep and after they finished, they were so meticulous with keeping it clean that you could not even tell they were there. One of the things that really impressed me about my experience with The Chimney Doctor that is once they arrived and did a quick inspection before getting started, Todd let me know that based on what he saw, I actually didn't need a sweep yet and would be fine to go another year or two without it. I can't tell you how much I respected his honesty, and I was more than happy to give my business to someone like that. I went ahead with the sweep, and he was in and out in approximately 30 mins. I would highly recommend Todd and The Chimney Doctor to anyone looking for service on their chimney.

The appointment went very well. He was very knowledgeable, and pointed out problems with the lower chimney. He also saw that there was nothing in place to keep animals out of the chimneys, so he installed an expanded metal grid over the openings. He cleaned up after himself, and left no dirt or debris behind. I will use him again.

He told me very clearly when I called when I could expect a service date, as he was very busy. He followed up in a day or two to set a time and date, arriving on that date at the very beginning of the time period stated. He and his partner were very friendly, describing the work they were doing. He explained the state of our chimney and, sadly, the expense involved in repairing it. He was honest and did not try to sell me anything himself. The work was done quickly and very efficiently. Other than the bad news about the state of our chimney (not his fault, of course), I was very happy with the work!!
