Randy’s team did an amazing job painting my duplex. They were fast and worked very hard. I am super pleased at the outcome of their hard work!

Randy Scronce, the owner, responded to our inquiry for a quote very quickly and was able to get us an estimate for the work in a day. He was also able to start the work on Monday of the next week. The crew, led by Rob, was very friendly and accommodating. The job was completed in 2 1/2 days and done very well. Prior to painting, the crew removed some large items from the walls and moved the furniture in each room. They were conscientious to cover all of the furniture to prevent damage. Cracks and imperfections were patched nicely prior to painting. We are very pleased with the work that was done. I would highly recommend Randy Scronce and his crew for any type of painting.

March 2020 This is the second large job Randy and his crew have completed for us in the last year and they never disappoint! We appreciate their flexibility, as we sometimes add on additional projects which takes more time. Randy gives us quotes up front so that we know what the cost will be. They always work with us and are very reasonable in pricing. Their work is immaculate, I am amazed to watch the focus and talent they have as painters. In addition, they are all very handy and when we ask if something out of the painting realm can be fixed, they usually can do that. They protect our furniture and clean up when they are done. Randy and his crew were consummate professionals and did a great job. It was obvious they took price in their work. I had several repairs to do, and they did a great job on those as well. When painting a newly constructed area, the crew took the time to fine tune some of the drywall work that was not quite up to his standard. They spent a good amount of time on that, and did not charge any more.

Randy and his team worked diligently to paint the rooms I specified on our walk through. They arrived on time everyday. All of his employees were friendly and helpful, answering any questions my wife or I had. We felt that the price quoted was reasonable, but Randy and his team went above and beyond (filling cracks, screws that poped in the drywall etc). Just little things that most contractors would not concern themselves with. After seeing the quality of Affordable paintings work we had additional areas painted, also at reasonable prices. I would not hesitate to have Affordable Painting work for me again and would recommend them to family and friends. I am very very pleased with the finished product. Well worth the investment.

Affordable Painting recently completed the exterior of our 12-unit condominium complex this summer and we cannot speak more highly of all of them and their work! This huge job has required flexibility and multiple steps. All of the crew was diligent, even working on some weekend days to complete the job. Their work is extremely professional and thorough. Randy gave us a good quote on short notice and got the job done when he said he would. Beyond simple wall painting, they removed wallpaper border, painted over paneling and wallpaper paneling, fixed holes and painted 2 built in cabinets inside and out. Randy came back twice to do touch up of areas that he noticed and to finish up trim that was drying slowly due to the weather. It all turned out great. So well that the house was under contract 2 days after listing.

Randy and his team did a phenomenal job! Each member of the team was personable and respectful and the finished product was outstanding and detailed. Even to the point that one worker purchased my wife a coffee on his break because we were out of filters that day and I was at work. They removed wallpaper in two rooms, painted ceilings (including high reach ones), and finished trim through the whole house. We are in love with the final product and excited to show it off to others!

We needed to get our house ready quickly to put it up for sale. We wanted wallpaper removed from several rooms in our home, then ceilings and rooms painted - 11 areas/rooms in all. We had been using someone who was charging by the hour and was moving like a turtle. So we called Randy, and he and his crew started painting within a couple of days of our call. They worked diligently for several weeks and did a superb job. Randy helped me choose paint colors and suggested extra things that could help the overall impression of our home. He even painted the tile in our bathrooms and kitchen, which I didn't know could be done. It looked brand new when it was done. We asked him to add several projects as he was working on already-planned work that we had hired him for. He was very accommodating with us and completed everything we asked of him in a timely manner. He flashed and painted all outside windows. He was always very pleasant, hard-working and honest. His crew stayed on the job until it was completed. Randy has a great work ethic, is honest and does an excellent job. I would highly recommend him!

For any projects around my houses, I always use Angie’s List to pick my service provider, and it has never failed me over the years. In preparing my house for sale, I picked Affordable Painting after getting bids from two other companies. At my first meeting with Randy, he not only listened to what I said I needed done, but also gave me a lot of ideas of other items I missed in order to prep the home for sale. It gave me a lot of confidence in him and his crew. Randy does not subcontract the work out, he has a small experienced crew that have worked together with him for many years or are related to him. The scope of work included whole house power washing, scraping off old paint, and repainted the entire exterior. The large deck and external stairs were all cleaned, scraped, sanded, and hand brushed with new finish. In the inside, all the settling crack over the last 10 years were repaired, sanded, primed and painted. With a crew of four each day, they were able to finish the work in nine days, six days a week. With some service providers I hired in the past, they scheduled their jobs back-to-back. If my project run longer than they anticipated, they sacrifice quality to stay on their schedule. For Affordable Painting, although we ran into some unanticipated issue with color matching, they stayed extra days to rework it to make the end result look perfect. It is refreshing to see crew who demands a high standard for the work, spotting issues and taking extra time to get it done right, rather than having the home owner to escalate to get the result he/she wants. I cannot say enough nice things about his crew, each and every one of them is friendly, courteous, and professional. They take great pride in their work, and always demanded and delivered perfection. Most importantly, the crew all liked each other, and worked together very well as a team. Which often cannot be said about other service providers with a transient workforce. The result was spectacular, the house looked new when they are finished. I wholeheartedly recommend Randy’s company and his crew, the price is reasonable, the quality top notch. I will not hesitate to hire them in other projects, you will not be disappointed.

Randy's crew was very efficient and did a great job. Randy inspected everything and made sure the job was done well. He didn't nickel and dime me and did several additional things at no charge for me. They patched and repaired all of the previous holes before they painted. They cleaned up their supplies at the end of each day and cleaned up completely when they were done. I really liked Randy and trusted him and his crew to be in my home.

Extremely professional and accommodating. Came in on budget. Randy ran into and corrected the previous "painter's" poor quality issues in order to provide a quality finish on the stairway walls. This was additional work not in the plan - but no additional charge - value added service. I feel exceeding expectations is a norm for Randy's crew. Note: This review is late - work was done last April. A couple of weeks after the job was finished I had a triple bypass --- I am still catching up.
