ACHTERBERG FLOORS

We've had Achterberg Floors restore our floors twice. When we first moved here, 25 years ago we had water damage. He repaired our factory finished hardwood. His work was amazing!!!!!! The floors were beautiful. After removing the baked on finish, I was amazed at the beautiful grain we were now able to see!!!! Recently, he and Heathe came in and updated our 25 years of worn floors. There vas no dust while sanding!!!! They were very careful with my furnishings and very meticulous about their efforts to give us absolutely beautiful floors! I definitely give them an A+++ for the quality work they do! After finishing our hardwood, they tackled all our floors upstairs. They did a wonderful job of putting down a Floating(?) wood looking vinyl floor. Everything was cut to fit just perfectly. I hope you will choose to go with Achterberg Floors. Mr Achterberg came out and gave us an estimate, price was reasonable so we called and set an appt to have work done. He said he would call a week before hand to give us time and go over details. when we didn’t hear from yet a few days before, we tried to reach him as we wanted to make sure all was still a go before we took the time to move all heavy furniture out of our dining room. We tried to reach him 3 times and left 3 voicemails, he never returned our calls and totally left us hanging. We made special arrangements with our work schedules so we would be available that week to get this work done If they were too busy to keep the appointment then the right thing to do would be to let us know but instead he completely blew us off. Totally unreliable and inconsiderate.

Scott is one of the best flooring people in the Peoria, IL area that I have found. I have heard horror stories from others that I work with such as leaving scratches on the floors, gouges, etc... Nothing like that from Achterberg Flooring
