+ -1 moreI called one of M&M's alternative numbers (smart to publish those, because you're almost certain to actually get to a live person!), and Ted showed up half an hour later. He solved the problem quickly and efficiently, cleaned up after himself, left no mess at all, and was a pleasure to deal with. And he gave us some god instructions on how to handle garbage disposals. Of course I paid extra because it was at night, but the price was reasonable. I'd totally hire him again.
Description of Work: The kitchen pipe clogged up around 8 pm because I overloaded our garbage disposal with half cooked lentils. Problem is, lentils expand in water, and I was concerned they might bust the pipe.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job, showed up a little outside of the window of time, but not bad. They called when they were 30 minutes away. The hose bib was only accessible thought a very small, dusty, nasty crawl space. One of our service techs spent around 2 hours down there doing the necessary repairs/replacements. After the job they texted me pictures of the completed work.
Description of Work: We had a leaky hose bib and leaky shut off valve in our utility sink.

Description of Work: They were hired to install an overhead sewer in an older home (circa 1920s). Work was prompt and specific (i.e. they were looking to solve the issue and not upsell or provide more than needed). They were very responsive in coming back out to tweak a couple of things in response to follow-up calls. Generous with their time.

+ 0 moreIt went very well. They were very courteous and helpful in pointing out the problem for me and worked quickly to address it. Basically a great job and I would recommend them.
Description of Work: Water was flooding into basement (and first floor flat) when any of the kitchen sinks in the 3 flat were run. They diagnosed the problem: there was a clog in the kitchen drain pipe that caused water to back up into the vent, and there was a huge hole in the kitchen stack vent at the first floor. They rodded the drain to unclog it. I will have to have them back out to replace the section of the vent pipe that is corroded away. They also unclogged a bathroom sink by rodding it. 2 hours of work total plus some parts.

+ -1 moreThis was not an emergency call, but the appointment was scheduled for the day after I called in. The price was cheaper than other plumbers I called, and the water heater they used is a professional grade. Installation was quick, clean, and professional.
Description of Work: Replace 40 gal gas water heater with new Rheem brand 40 gal gas water heater. Flexible supply piping (from the previous DIY installation) was replaced with rigid copper piping.
