Description of Work: Ron is amazing. I got 6 bids for a new furnace and central air. He gave me the best rate. He explains things in a way that I understand and he never talks down to me (single woman in my 40's). |Honestly, I was shocked that I got such a great bid and the service was impeccable. |He goes out of his way to make sure things work well and you are happy. I won't use anyone else and I recommend him religiously. |

Description of Work: I noticed corrosion/water damage to the ventilation ducts leading from my gas water heater. I thought it was due to a water leak around the ventilation cap on the roof but I was wrong. The serviceman observed that the duct leading from the water heater was slightly lower on one end of the duct rather than being level or slightly elevated. This resulted in condensation that settle in a section of the duct. By noticing this, he saved me money by not spending work time on the roof trying to find a leak that wasn't there. He replaced the damaged ductwork.

+ -1 moreOn 7/19/10 we called Eads Heating and A/C to look at our central air conditioner. The fan on the outside unit was functioning but the compressor would not start. Eads diagnosed it as a bad compressor and gave us their cost to repair the unit. We called MB Heating and Cooling for a second estimate. The MB technician discovered, and I witnessed, that several wires were cut inside of the unit and a connector was broken off flush with the compressor making it impossible to repair. In addition the MB technician found that the capacitors to the compressor were bad meaning that what could have possibly been a $100 fix would now cost thousands. I called EADS and they denied that the capacitors were bad, but I saw the MB test of them and know that not to be true. In addition Eads said that the connector was broken by pulling off a plug. No such plug exists. I’ll never know if the capacitors would have fixed the problem but I am sure that Eads made things much worse and may have cost me thousands of dollars as now I have to replace both the outside unit and the A-coil.

+ -1 moreI couldn't be happier with the work that Eades has done for us. They not only fixed both our problems, but they also drove out to our house (20 miles away) without charging any extra. They called before they came to our house so that we knew when they would arrive and on both occasions were earlier then they said they would be. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and their workmanship.
Description of Work: We have had Eades come to our house on two separate occasions to work on our Heating and A/C. The first time they came our central air unit was making a banging sound. We figured it was time for a new one (it was over 20 years old). However the repairman said that it just needed a needed a new motor and it should be fine. Instead of spending $3000-$5000 on a new unit we only had to spend $600. While he was working on it, not only did he replace the motor he also built a new housing for it and serviced the unit. He did all of this in about two hours and was extremely professional and courteous. On the second occasion the blower had stopped working on our heating unit. It happened to be the hottest day of September and we were miserable. We called Eades and they were at the house by 11:00 that morning. They had to take out the motor to rebuild it and (I think) put in a new conductor strip. They had to take the motor back to their shop to do this. We live 20 miles from their shop, but they still had the motor back to us and our air conditioning was running again by 2:30. The cost of that service call was approximately $500. We had two different repairmen that day, but they were both extremely professional and courteous.
