Woodmaster Fence

We hired Woodmaster to fix damage to our cedar wood fence, including a slat, post, and several crossbeams. Woodmaster only replaced the parts that really needed repair, rather than insisting on replacing the entire section, which saved us money. They also didn't have a high minimum fee like some companies. They used straight, good quality cedar wood and matched the shape and design of the existing fence. We're happy with the result!

They arrived at the time they said and completed the job ahead of schedule. The materials were what I expected and the job was done professionally. No messes left behind.

Rick was great to work with. He made sure I understood the options and the pros and cons of my choices. He kept me updated on the timeline. Augustine installed the fence and did a fabulous job. It looks great and no steps were missed. The quality of the work is excellent. The pricing was competitive and worth it.

Smoothly. When my local jurisdiction’s building inspector showed up to inspect each post hole, each met the 36 inches required by code. WoodMaster did not cut corners, spaced each picket consistently from neighboring pickets, and cut a well arched convex pattern in each section so the fence looks right. WoodMaster recommended sturdy steel posts that provide peace of mind because the next generation be better off by not needing to replace rotting posts at $600 a pop in 10 years and tailored the fence height to best meet my family’s needs by lowering sections so pets do not squeeze underneath.

Really great. The fences are beautiful and even better than I imagined. They removed the old fence, took care of all the permits, cleaned everything up and gave me a great price. I had quotes from other places that were asking more for a lot less. I don’t know how he did it, but one guy put the whole thing up in two days. He was a real craftsman. I can’t recommend them enough!

Overall they did a decent job and were very price competitive. I wish they would have been more flexible during the install with the layout of the fence so that it terminated in full panels and easier on them to install. But it does look good and the wife is happy.

The job took only 3 days with one person doing all the work. It was done very well and all of my neighbors are jealous of how well it turned out. The entire fence is about 275 feet of fence with 2 gates. I would definitely recommend Woodmaster Fence. I can not believe how good this fence looks considering it was built by one person. On the plus side, all the neighbors are jealous. Great job.

The New 6ft High Western Red Cedar Dog Ear Fence looks Great! Thanks to Rick and his team! Woodmaster Fence's estimate was straightforward and reasonable ~$5K for ~120ft which included the removal of the old fence. The installation schedule and timing to get fence material (~21-30 days) was noted up front and the timing of the actual project of a couple of days was spot on as well. The work was done efficiently and professionally with my general and specific guidance such as placement of the fence, how handle corners, and the placement of a rear gate. One note for anyone dealing with 20 year overgrowth of shrubs next to your fence line, one needs to clear that out, so the new fence can be installed. New plants can be planted or the old ones will grow back over time.

Great. Fence area was measured. WoodMaster obtained the permit, called a couple days before installing and installer was there when they said. Installer was very professional, friendly, and cleaned up. Great workmanship.

Fantastic craftsmanship! Very happy with the quality. Covid delayed us a bit, however as Rick promised, once we got started it was quick and very good. Rick was also accommodating on special requests and even did some work for both of my neighbors after!

Woodmaster did a great job - showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The new fence looks exactly as I envisioned and the installer was pleasant and offered good suggestions for the details of the installation.

We needed our older fence replaced coming off the back of our home. 170 linear feet with two gates. It took some time to get on the schedule because of supply issues but once it came in the installers did a great job in one day. No commotion or issues and they cleaned up the area very well. Rick, the owner said he used extra heavy split rail and he was correct, this was much larger than what is offered at local stores and looks great.

Fantastic! Rick responded very quickly and came out to see us very quickly on a Saturday and we had an estimate by Monday. We responded with a request for a change and Rick adjusted our estimate quickly and we were good to go. Rick and his workman showed up on schedule and the installation was completed the same day. From the initial meeting to the follow up WoodMaster Fence has been prompt, professional, and throughly accessible and responsive by phone and email. Rick came himself to measure, explained my options, and gave me an honest assessment of what was needed. There was no issue of contacting the village and expediting the permit process. I had many questions as we had never replaced a fence before. He gave me options of steel posts which none of the prior quotes (from highly reputable and highly rated companies) even mentioned was a helpful possibility. He built this fence to last and made sure I won't have expensive repairs in the future. I know he will stand by his product and workmanship. The installer Augustine was a true craftsman, took his time and made sure communication was happening. I had a few requests to change a few minor details and there was no issue at all. The price was competitive. I was willing to pay more for a fence I knew would not give me problems, and a builder who would honor his warranty. I would highly recommend WoodMaster fence to anyone.

Estimator came out shortly after we requested an estimate. Woodmasters priced the replacement fence competitively. The installer was out within the 3 week time frame we were given. The fence was installed within a day.
