It was fantastic. I have another project that they will be doing for me soon.

I am going to use them. They are going to start next week. The estimate was free. They are going to leave the framing and do some repairs. I felt like they were a good company. They are reputable. They told me they were working 3 months out. That was why I first contacted them in May. They are in line with the others for price. We did have a little problem in the beginning. They did not return my phone calls. I had to call them to find out what was going on. Everything is fine now.

It went without a hitch. Workers always started on time and were very customer oriented. The office personnel were very helpful in helping us pick out wood, colors, and answering any questions that we had concerning the build. They took care of everything from permits to cleaning up debris that was left over from the job. Everyone was very professional in their approach to the job.

It was a pleasure working with Rock Solid Builders. They were professional in every respect, punctual, and attentive to my questions. The job was compketed on time without delay. The yard was cleaned every day and at the end of the job, left in excellent condition. I highly recommend this company and Alec and Rocco are tryly master carpenters. Thank you

Rock Solid Builders is very professional. The installers were here promptly while working on the deck. Had a minor flaw and have been very responsive.

The price was reasonable based on research and other quotes from nearby contractors. Both the office personnel and carpenters were very professional and responsible. The work performed was done both with high quality and efficient. They also did a very good job not creating a mess during and after construction. We are very happy with the results.

Working with all the folks at RS Builders was a great experience. During installation, the head carpenter worked with us on a daily basis to make the finished product exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with the end results.

We got estimates from 3 highly rated contractors for this project. They were all competitive on the basic deck but the other two would only give ranges for the screen room option, which seemed quite high. RSB provided a detailed estimate for everything for a price I felt was very good. They stuck to their proposal throughout the project with the only change order being a small upgrade of the deck balusters that I requested. RSB worked with me to get HOA approval for the new room, and they took care of all permitting needed. They made the project relatively stress free from that perspective. The work started when scheduled and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work Robb (lead carpenter) and his crew did. They showed up like clockwork every morning, worked through the day, and did a thorough clean up at the end of every day. Robb was very helpful whenever I had questions. I was home for most of the construction so was able to watch what they were doing and was very impressed with their attention to detail. We had the work done during the winter so the weather wasn't always the nicest but they didn't cut any corners. They had a couple of subs (electrical and roofing) which RSB managed and made sure the work was done correctly. All in all we love our new deck and screen room and would highly recommend Rock Solid for a similar project.

Rock Solid Builders (RSB) exceeded my expectation. I own 6 rental properties and a small hotel. I have had numerous dealings with contractors over the years. Some of those contractors were good and some not so good. But RSB is in a league of their own. Dealing with them was straight forward. They never tried to upcharge us or to come back to us during the build and say we found something we didn’t expect and now we have to charge you more. Everyone from the owners to the workers were friendly and professional. We booked our project in the fall with a start date of February 1st the following year. Having dealt with contractors in the past and knowing that they were building in the winter we never thought they would actually start on the start date they gave us. But they did! That in itself was amazing. In addition they were on time each and every day of the 3 plus week project. I am retired so I was able to watch them work. The quality of their work was first rate. They corrected numerous short comings to our existing framework. I am sure that other contractors would have installed the decking without correcting the short comings. The finished project looks great and is built to last. I could go on and on about what great work they did and how highly I think of RSB. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a deck built. Thank you RSB.

Very well. We never thought that you could build a deck in the middle of winter but it all went very smoothly. They worked through some pretty cold and windy winter weather. Once it was all done there were a few details that my husband wanted to discuss and the folks at RSB were more than willing to do anything they could to make sure we were fully satisfied even after receiving the final payment on the project. We're very impressed and would recommend them highly.

I selected Rock Solid Builders (RSB) from their web site which stood out from all other deck builders and contractors in the multi-county area. It was different in so many ways but most notably it had a lot of photos of completed projects. From the beginning of engaging RSB through completion of the project they were amazingly professional and predictable. They showed up when they made appointments on time. The emailed back or phoned back exactly when they said they would. They got permits on time. Material showed up on time. No issue with their labor teams. The owner came and was instrumental with his ideas for helping us decide on a design we were thrilled with. The estimate was reasonable. They are busy which is a good thing - they quoted a date three months from when we signed the contract and they started the project one day earlier than their estimate. Their office/admin staff was prompt, courteous and highly professional with well written and thorough communications, documents, etc. and always on time. The project itself was difficult not only because it was construction on a very steep hill but also angles and line ups were tedious. They completed the project on time and it looks fantastic. Their workers did no damage in the construction process either from materials on the grass or any other issues. They left like they had never been there except for the completed deck and stairs. We were actually out of town during the construction process and they sent photos of the ongoing work to us to make sure we were happy with progress and to ensure there were no issues. I will definitely use them again. There is nothing better than hiring a contractor that does exactly, predictably what they say they will do, on time, on budget, on quality, on scope and on-value per your expectations. I wish there were more superlatives I could use on their behalf because, honestly, I am still a bit shocked at what an end-to-end great job they did.

RSB did a great job. Everyone I worked with was very professional. They kept us appraised of the timeline and progress of the project. We couldn't be happier with the new deck.

It went excellently. This company, all the way from the office to the workers, is amazing. They responded immediately to any question or email. The workers were very nice and did such a great job. They took care of the design and getting permits. It was seamless. The finished product was better than we imagined and they left the area clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

We cannot say enough good things about Rock Solid Builders and their employees. They helped us plan the project, got permits for it, got materials and built it exactly as the project plans specified. The carpenters, Ron and Josh, arrived 15 minutes before work was to start every day. Their work was top notch and timely. The whole project proceeded exactly according to schedule. We are very pleased with the final results and would highly recommend this company to others in the area who are considering deck work.

I first contacted Rock Solid Builders because I was considering building a custom screen room on my deck. They reviewed all the possible options and confirmed some of the difficulties I expected (low hanging phone lines, proximity to existing shrubbery, etc.). Given this and my uncertainty about how the space would be used, they strongly recommended that I find a kit because it would keep the costs low. After much delay, I was able to find a screen room kit that I liked. They assembled and installed the aluminum 10-ft x 12-ft fully-screened room on my deck as they promised. I was very pleased at the time they took to review my options, and it was easy to communicate with their office. They cleaned up their work site well, including removing the large quantity of cardboard and the shipping pallets. And they returned a neat stack of assembly and maintenance instructions.

Rock Solid Builders was great to work with from the start. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to work with us on the design to get it just right. They were quick to respond to any questions we had and always kept us updated on the progress. The team they sent out was punctual, friendly, very professional, and always made sure to clean up the work area at the end of each day. We've had many compliments on the quality of the work they did. We couldn't be happier with our new deck and would highly recommend them to others.

We were very impressed by RSB. They handled all the permits and dealt all our procrastinating and last-minute changes easily. The materials and carpenters all showed up on time and built a good look, "rock solid" deck. We'd definitely recommend them for anyone looking for composite decking.

Since most people read only the first couple lines, I'll say it now.....these guys are the best around. From the very first contact with Anna and Butch their professionalism, communication and follow thru were outstanding. We first were going to replace only damaged/rotted portions of the deck but once underway we realized the best option would be a complete tear-off and rebuild. Butch quoted a very reasonable price and we ended up with a beautiful 100% new deck for not much more than our original estimate. There was also an appearance issue with the final product (we selected lattice and you could see some of the framing under the deck). Butch agreed with our observations and wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with the project so he had one of his crew (Alec) work extra time to alter things slightly so we ended up with nothing visible under the deck. They did this at no additional cost to us! Their 3-man crew (Alec, Rocco and Sean) were all personable and did great work. Bottom line.....if you're looking for a company that provides a good final product, is great with communicating and followup and puts you the customer first, then Rock Solid is who you should call. (Note: we used the TrexDeck material on our deck. If you use the TrexDeck there are lots of options so take your time and research what you'd like in your final product.)

I was very impressed with the work that was done. It was very cold out but they worked with no problems. I tried not asking question while they were working but when I did they were very nice and always answered them. After completing the deck the work site was cleaned and my new deck is gorgeous. I cant wait for spring so I can start enjoying my deck. Rock Solid Builders are great. All the employees are so helpful from the first step to the last. Phone calls and emails are always returned promptly. Rock Solid Builders you rock.

Was in contact till complete. Project went great, completed in one day. Workers were professional. I was sent an overpayment refund before I was expecting. RSB is a class AAA operation, we would definitely use them again and recommend them at any opportunity.

Rock Solid Builders offered the best contractor experience I've ever had. From first contact, to design of the deck, to getting approvals and finally the actual building process, they were far and above our expectations. From initial estimate gathering, Anna answered all emails very promptly and we were able to hammer out a lot of details in a short amount of time. The approval process was smooth, and we were also very pleased with the construction process. The carpenters arrived on time every day, they addressed any issues that came up very quickly and came up with creative solutions, and they even finished a few days early. We're very happy with the end result, it is more beautiful than we imagined. We will definitely hire them again when we need something else built that they handle.

Easy to work with, RSB listened to our needs and requirements for this build, came up with plans that exceeded those needs, and and went beyond in executing those plans. Changes were made during the build and we were amazed at how easily RSB accepted the changes and made them happen for us. RSB is all about pleasing the client and you don't find that philosophy to easily these days. It was a pleasure having RSB in our home. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning to the end. Rock Solid was very detail to give updates on when they were starting and the process. The men working on the deck were very professional. In fact our neighbor was very impressed that he asked for a quote for his deck. I am truly happy with the work they performed. I am enjoy my deck!!
