MJ's Small Engine Repair

Mark did a phenomenal job with my mower. It runs better now than when I bought it! And at a VERY fair price. He even washed it when he was done! He was great at communicating as to price and what needed to be done and when it would be ready. Can’t recommend him highly enough!

Mark is a knowledgeable, reliable, and thorough mechanic. He goes the extra mile to make certain that my equipment is running properly by checking everything. He took in and repaired our lawn mower the same day. Did an excellent job.

I brought the mower to his shop LATE on a Saturday afternoon and he said he would likely work on it Sunday afternoon and might have it ready to go. He called in the afternoon and said that he was all but certain he'd diagnosed it correctly and would have it running later that day and would call me. No call on Sunday, but on Monday (Memorial Day) he called to tell me that he'd tested it, cleaned it up, installed a fuel shut off valve I'd asked for to help prevent a recurrence of the problem and it was ready to go. Picked it up, he pointed out a minor leak in the fuel line that he'd repaired and told me that if the repair didn't hold, a $5 (or less) part would take care of it and it would not be a problem for me to do the work myself. Bottom line: Mark does this part time but knows what he's doing, gets it done ASAP (I fully expected that he'd have the machine for a week) and his price very fair. He gained a new customer. I just hope that this review doesn't gain him so much work that I'm in trouble the next time that I need his help! Thanks, Mark!

Mower runs well and looks good. Work was done promptly and Mark provided price before he started and said he would phone if he found anything else that needed to be fixed--which he did. Charges were reasonable for work that he completed. Work was completed in a few days even though the head gasket had to be ordered.

It's awesome. He's quick and he is very reliable. He is so cheap. Can't find a better deal anywhere. Everything he has fixed is perfect so far.
