Stay away if you want to get high quality work. Dennis use cheap labor to install cabinets. As results they damage cabinets during the installation, He also use cheap materials. We are getting entire cracks 3 months after cabinets were installed. Looks like they do fraud sailing “Amish cabinets. Cabinets Dennis installed in my hous is not Amish qualty. But I paid him $150k(!!!) for my kitchen and I now have to replace all cabinets by low quality reason. He also installed wooden floor. Floor is creaky! After I paid him last check Dennis abandoned our project and left not finished. Now I have hired lawyer to sue Book Creek and Dennis personally to get money back. Stay away from this scammer.

Very happy with project results. They stood by their work, cleaned up as they progressed, and helped me to select materials and appliances. I would consider them for an additional project.

Denis was fantastic to work with. He was very reasonably priced based on the work we wanted done - his design ideas and his methodology made it easy to follow along with and ultimately trust him. We started with our master bath reno, which was a big project. His design was flawless and they completed the work in the time he expected. When issues came up, he was upfront about the cost and the options. We finished bath and decided to completely gut and re-do our basement. Same story, great design, kept in mind our family, our use cases and needs. He even built a custom wine cellar underneath our staircase. 100% would recommend Denis and his team to anyone.

Working with Denis and Michele Buch for our kitchen remodel was a pleasure. The confidence they instilled in us by taking the time to discuss the different cabinetry options available, the clever design solutions and by giving honest responses to our questions/suggestions was amazing. Overall a great experience with every subcontractor but one (which Denis ensured returned to make a correction) showing skill for their profession and respect to our household. It is no secret that a kitchen remodel is stressful and disrupts the entire house and although this experience was not without a few hiccups --the largest being the expanded time-frame--we would work again with Boone Creek Cabinetry & Design with no hesitation.

Great! This husband wife team is terrific! Denis is awesome with his layouts and eye for design. His wife is on top of getting all the items ordered for the job and a joy to work with. We loved what that did so much that they designed and delivered another kitchen to our vacation home in the mountains. The box stores can’t give you the service, design, think of your lighting and the quality that you’ll find with Boone Creek. I continue to recommend these people to family and friends.

Michele and Denis and the staff were great to work with. I enjoyed the process and my kitchen looks beautiful and is very functional. Highly recommended.

Longer than expected. Some subcontractors (Sheetrock and taping) not up to par but Denis made good on it and resolved

Denis had done his homework; he knew what needed to be done but his lack of experience was obvious. I began interviewing other contractors knowing I would loose my $15,000. 00 deposit. We were at Boone Creek Cabinetry showroom when I saw an advertisement/article published in a monthly McHenry County magazine by Boone Creek Cabinetry. Listed in this article, under their experience was my total home renovation!!! We had not even come to terms on pricing but they advertised the renovation. Integrity and honesty are two valued qualities. It was then I hired another contractor and have no regrets. We did order the cabinetry from Boone Creek and the finish was horrible. The cabinets had to be spray painted IN MY HOME causing a major delay/mess. A major item was deleted from the plans ($15,000. paid) without us knowing and to have it special ordered delayed my kitchen completion. The item was labeled as ordered but was not. Boone Creek advertises a husband/wife operation however, Michele was dismissed from our meetings. I feel she might have been the honest person during our discussions and urge ANYONE who meets with Boone Creek have her in the meetings.
