I called him at 3:00 pm, it's now 4:15 pm and he's already been here and completed the job. He was very efficient. He got two doors fixed and was very reasonable in price.

It went good. He did very professional job.was a friendly guy.we will defiantly use him again.

I was really disappointed with them, because they answered my initial call, and then never came out to give me an estimate. They blew me off. They said they would call me back and tell me when they would come out. It was for small jobs around, and I don't think they wanted to bother.

I looked in the phonebook and his ad just jumped out at me. I have not lived in Mattoon for several years and now that I have moved back into town I am not as familiar with the town as I used to be. I have a few projects that I need to have done and I am not as handy as I would like to be. I rolled the dice and called Chad wheeler. I asked for an estimate and he said that he could meet with me two days later. He called ahead and met with me at my home when he said that he would. I live in an old house and he said that the job could be very simple or more difficult depending on what the job entailed after he removed the old door. I asked for a ballpark figure and he gave me a figure of $150 to $200. I liked his overall friendly attitude and I said that I would go buy the doors and hire him to do the job. He did not ask for any retainer or deposit. He said that he would go and pick-up my doors from where ever I purchased them. The next day I purchased the doors locally and called him to let him know. He said that he would stop by to pick-up the will call slip and go get the doors. He did that and told me that he was finishing another job and that the next day he would begin my job. He showed up when he said that he would and even called ahead to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived and began working. My house is an old house and the anticipated trouble of the doorway not being square was accurate. He seemed to think things through to ensure proper installation. He completed the entry door that afternoon and said that he would return the next morning to complete the job. He arrived the next day on time and completed the project. The door looks great and he did a great job. The total for the door installation $220.00 After seeing him work at the project I think the total was well inline for the work preformed. Chad Wheeler will be my go to handyman for future projects.
