First, I was assured their internet service could provide the speed and the speed on multiple devices that I needed. I needed to run 1 desktop, 2 laptops and various gaming systems. I could barely run one desktop. I then needed tech support. I had to call and leave a message the first time. 2 days later they called me back, with very mediocre support. The next time I needed technical support, I called and once again had to leave a message, that was 6 weeks ago and I still have not received a call back. I needed billing assistance and no one of course answered again, the machine said they would call me back. No call back ever. I, at that point had to find another internet service, that actually provided service. I did. I called HiBeam and of course no answer (are you sensing a theme here?), I left a message over a month ago stating that I wanted to cancel. 5 days later my Credit Card was charged. I figured, ok, I probably didn't call in time to stop the billing cycle. I called back and once again, no one answered, so I once again left a message. Yesterday, they again charged my Credit Card. I have called no fewer than 25 times since 8:00am Wednesday, April 27, 2011, and still no answer or call back. I searched and found another number for them. I called that number and the voicemail box is full. Surprise!!! Yet, their machine keeps telling me they value my business and are busy taking care of other customers. When does my turn come? I have contacted other customers of theirs in the area and asked them to try to get phone assistance. As of this afternoon, none have received a call back. Their price is on average 30% higher than other high speed providers and their service blows chunks! They just want money. they want to put out no effort for their customers.
Description of Work: The company called me back after I left a message interested in extremely high speed internet. They set up an installation time and no one showed up. (this should have been my clue). I called and left another message that the installer had not shown up. They called me back and set another appointment and were only 4 hours late. They installed and since it was right before Christmas, I only had one computer on it and it seemed fast enough. So I was pleased that it was fast. At Christmas I added 2 laptops and a gaming system and it was all slower than dial up. I called tech support and they called me back 2 days later and said sorry but it wouldnt support my whole house and that if the salesman said it would they were wrong. So I kept it thinking oh well, at least its high speed on my desktop.
