+ -1 moreThis was a major renovation that took three weeks (ending on 7/3/2014) The new bath is beautiful and fitting for the 1920s house. Pat Nelson, the owner of New Bath of Illinois, subcontracted the electrical and plumbing portion of the remodel but he and one helper performed the remainder of the work. New Bath of Illinois obtained the fixtures and supplied the paint and floor tile but we had a say as to what they were to be. We had two other contractors give estimates and they were in the $13,000 to $16,000 range. New Bath of Illinois came in at $11,300 and did a superb job. Sometimes using the low bidder is the way to go. I would recommend this company to anyone that wishes to remodel a bath for a fair and reasonable price.
Description of Work: Complete tear out of bathroom down to studs, rafters and floor joists with replacement of all fixtures. This included new walls ceiling, and ceramic tile floor. New electrical and plumbing for a new ceramic tub and shower, vinyl surround, sink, toilet, lights, medicine cabinet, exhaust fan, towel racks, grab bars, curved shower rod and curtain. and window blinds! Also a toilet and shower were installed in the basement (because this was a ONE bathroom home).
