+ -1 moreI called on him on Christmas week and he came out right away. The price is reasonable, he was responsive, and knowledgeable. He did not have all the equipment needed for my state of the art boiler, but he bought the proper tools. He is willing to go above and beyond to do the job. I was pleased with the service.
Description of Work: My boiler broke down and he came to repair it.

+ -1 moreWe turned on air conditioner late yesterday and noticed it wasn't blowing out cold air. I did some basic checks, such as circuit breakers, and found everything to be normal. Called Forest City Service early this morning before they were open and left a message about the problem. They called back about an hour later and had me try some basic checks to see if that might be the problem. It wasn't, so they said the repairman could be out here between 2 and 4 o'clock this afternoon. He showed up a little bit after 2 o'clock and began his tests. He found the problem and had it repaired in no time.
Description of Work: Repairman checked voltage at compressor. Checked ok. He checked freon level, which also was ok. He removed compressor cover and pushed high pressure reset button. Compressor tried to start, but wouldn't. He disconnected motor capacitor and hooked up a temperary one. Unit started and ran normally. He installed and mounted a new capacitor and checked operation of unit. Unit worked perfectly. His time on the job was less than an hour. We are very pleased with his knowledge of HVAC systems and his very courteous maner while working.
