Mr. Carlson is a professional in every sense of the word. From a quick reply of my initial inquiry to detailing every step of the process, this gentleman provided a very accurate itinerary of how the repair would be conducted and did just that. Ultimately we now have a cool home and a very satisfied pair of customers that would highly recommend to employ this company to assist with their HVAC needs.

We can't begin to say enough about Mike and his "AWESOME TEAM" of workers. We called and he responded in less then 1 hour and set a time to come out. We only needed AC but decided to go ahead due to the age of the furnace and great price given to upgrade and install a whole new system.Mike was very informative and answered all our questions and we decided to "get er done". We received a call later that afternoon that Mike had taken a fall and twisted up his ankle pretty good so we had to do a bit of rescheduling and postpone possibly a couple weeks which was fine by us. We got another call several days later saying he had additional help and would be out the following Wednesday. Mike went over and above and came here with a support brace on and a bad limp due to his injury as well as the pain I'm sure he was experiencing and went up and down our basement stairs 2 days in a row to insure he gave us what he had promised us the customer. What a incredible guy he committed himself to what he promised and in the end delivered and oh what a superb job they ALL did assisting Mike.The outcome was awesome an incredible job completed in less then 8 hours with the cost being 100% of what was quoted and 2 very pleased happy customers. Their work was quite impeccable from beginning to end and we look forward to calling or recommending CARLSON HEATING and COOLING to all our family,friends and co-workers. The owner Mike was on time for the appointment. He and his helper were friendly and knowledgeable. The did a thorough check, cleaned, stabilized the filter assembly, and several other adjustments to improve performance. Home is several degrees cooler. Very happy.

We knew that it was time to check our furnace this year, so using Angie's List we discovered a furnace check coupon through Angie's. In reading the reviews we signed up to have our furnace checked by him. Mike was on time and explained what the check would be. He replaced our April air water pad ,also. The experience with him was great and the furnace is running top notch after his visit.

I called on a Saturday afternoon thinking oh boy they are going to sock it too me on the price because it is the weekend. NOT SO!!!!! He was willing to come out ASAP. He was doing an install. So he apologized and said he had a customer scheduled for Sunday morning but he could come out Sunday afternoon. I asked how much for weekends (also it was Fathers Day) He explained no extra charge?????? I was shocked. We scheduled a time and day. Mike called before he came was very professional, and willing to answer all of my questions. He needed to replace the blower motor so I had to wait overnight for him to get it. He was here the next morning and finished the job. I am a happy customer.

Our furnace went out the afternoon before Thanksgiving day, we called another repair place and made an appointment for Friday, they never showed up and were not returning calls. So we started calling around and got hold of Carlson's. They came over within half an hour and diagnosed the problem. The circuit board wasn't available until Monday but they had it up and running then and were reasonably priced. We will call them next time our furnace needs any repairs.

Great! Mike returned my call quickly and scheduled the appointment for just a couple days later. He arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Mike came out within an hour of our call. He diagnosed the problem, had the necessary part and cleaned the unit. He explained what was wrong, and was done quickly. He also recommended that the unit get cleaned every other year, same with the furnace.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Locating someone who is honest and competent is difficult to find in HVAC - if I took the word of every tech that said "you have a cracked heat exchange", who scared tenants into believing that they were dying from poisonous gases, I would be out $35k in under 2 yrs. (One of those claims was not a cracked exchange but a wasp's nest.) I found Mike's name on Angie's List after I took over managing our family's residential and commercial properties, and after being lied to or being mislead by incompetent techs. Other than familiarity with HVAC as a homeowner, my experience was limited. Mike helped me navigate through my "on the job" exposure, beginning with identifying for me the unique/odd/old units in some of our apartment buildings that some techs had never seen before. Mike was the 4th company in a row that I called who didn't work on that type of unit. But he was the first that didn't charge me a service call, and the only one who could identify the type of unit it was and who could work on them. Since that time, Mike has been my most prized contact! He arrives on time, is respectful to our tenants and their homes, and he has never walked away from a job because he could make more money on another service call - we had another valued HVAC contact who went MIA, stringing me along, while a post-op tenant was enduring week long heat wave. When I called Mike, he was out the next day, and had it fixed in three hours. It was a tedious job, but he did it. As long as I am responsible for our buildings, he will be first on our call list!! I believe in honor and loyalty, and this company deserves mine!!!!!

They did okay. They cleaned it and vacuumed out a lot of stuff, that's all about they did. They didn't check any voltages or anything like that. They checked the filter but that I do all the time too. He was friendly. I don't think he was that comfortable working on that furnace or not. They way they built some of thee, they put them in spots to make it hard to get to. He didn't ask for anything other than the big deal. He was here when he said he would be. I had other people my furnace before and they seem to do more stuff other then vacuum out some of it and do little checks. I will probably not use him again. I will go to other companies. I was just trying him because of the price. I'm not quite sure. I think he did as much as he could have.

All went well. I have allergies and the dust created from a kitchen remodel was causing breathing problems. Precautions had been taken to keep the dust down, but it found its way to every nook and cranny in the house. I turned off the furnace and fan to keep the dust down. I had to wait until most of the construction was complete before getting the ducts cleaned (by a different company) and getting the furnace inspected and cleaned. Additionally, the temperatures had dropped to freezing and my two space heaters weren't hacking it. Mike worked me into a very busy schedule, which I greatly appreciated.

The guy showed up and was very helpful. He gave me some tips while cleaning the furnace. Checked that it was operating efficiently. Very professional. Would definitely use again, especially at this price.

He commented that the furnace was very large for the amount of space it was required to heat and checked for toxic emissions at the registers. He informed us that we should get a Carbon monoxide detector as our levels were higher than normal, but not dangerous. He would like to see 0 - 9, but ours read 21 in one room, and was ok in another. He told us where to place the monitor.
