I called Mike Carlson of Carlson Heating & Cooling to get an estimate on a new furnace and some additional duct work. Mike is very friendly on the phone and we arranged a time he would be in the area to provide the estimate. I had received three previous estimates and found Mike's to be the best value, in other words, the best product for my needs at the best price. Mike is very courteous, professional and honest. I found it refreshing that he did not try to "oversell" me on a more expensive product, and maybe even more importantly, he was willing to complete the work of installing heat runs and a cold air return in a crawl space for a previously unheated room. Another company seemed uninterested in anything other than installing a new furnace, one was nearly double the price for the heat runs and the third wanted to sell me a furnace that was a quite a bit more expensive. Mike explained the process, what I could expect, and was willing to answer all of my questions during the estimate and installation. The work took two days to complete and I explained that my father could be here for the installation one day and I would have to take off work for the second day. Instead Mike suggested that he would see my father on Friday and me on Saturday. He WILLINGLY worked on a Saturday for my convenience, at no additional cost! I am very pleased with Carlson Heating & Cooling.

Perfectly! He showed up exactly when he said he would, got right to work, cleaned everything, checked that the furnace was running properly and checked for CO.

Highly recommended! Did not recommend anything I did not need and the price was reasonable. Offered to show me how to maintain the unit to keep future repair costs down. Recommended a maintenance schedule that was reasonable to keep my furnace in good working order for years to come.

The AC stopped working on Friday night. I looked on Angie's List for someone with good reviews. I called him on Saturday morning and left a message. He called me back within a 1/2 hour and said that he would be there Saturday afternoon or Sunday. He ended up coming within a couple of hours. He figured out what was wrong and fixed it quickly. He was very professional, courteous and the price was very reasonable. He came on a Saturday and only charged $150 for the service call and part! I will definitely call him again!

Went perfect ! This was the first time I called Carlson Heating and also it was on a Sunday ! He was professional on the phone and said that he had some things to rap up but will give me a call when he would start heading to my house. With in the hour he called me back and was heading to my house.When he Arrived he introduced himself shook my hand. Mike started to work on my air conditioning found the problem and replaced the Contact Switch. He put a a better switch on that was fully covered so those pesky earwigs would not enter into the switch contacts. He replaced the switch and explaned to me about some matinance on my Air Conditioner shook my hand and was on his way.Mike is a nice guy! I am So Glad that I called Carlson Heating and Cooing.I am very Happy and Impressed!

I called Carlson's just after noon on Friday. He was just finishing up a call. He wasn't too far from my home so he said he would go there next. He looked at the central air unit, made a trip inside the house and determined that I needed a new thermostat. The job was completed in less than an hour from the time I called him. I am extremely pleased with the service and cost.

Cleaned and serviced furnace He checked furnace for carbon monoxide and it was 4 parts per million and clean and serviced AC unit . He was right on time - very efficient and polite. I would definitely use Him again - I can't say enough good about Mike. Anthony Maggio

We had a leak from the PVC furnace exhaust. Mike came and removed the leaking pieces and installed new piping. He arrived as promised, did a professional job and cleaned up afterwards. He suggested checking on it in a couple days to make sure it doesn't leak. He charged $75 which was very fair. We will use Carlson Heating again in the future!

It went fine and he seemed to know what he was doing. It was a good service call and he was very nice. There were no additional fees. His price was good and he was lower than other people. He called me right back.

Mike provided same day service and fixed a bad board in the furnace. Very professional and courteous which goes a long way. Cost was reasonable and work performed quickly. Was very obvious he was skilled in his trade and will call again with future needs without hesitation.

I was pleased with the work performed by Mr. Carlson. He was punctual and professional. His work was thorough, even to the point of performing a check for carbon monoxide. I will use this business in the event I would ever need repair or maintenance of my furnace.

Mike was on time and very efficient in providing his furnace inspection service. I had a couple of other questions which he answered while on the call and did not charge additional. One question concerned the humidifier attached to the furnace and while other companies may have charged an additional fee, Mike simply recommended a new pad/filter which solved the problem. I would gladly use Mike's business again.

Mike came out and after tinkering with the gas line to the house a couple times he got both valves open and gas flowing. Mike did a nice job inspecting and cleaning up the furnace. He identified the age of the furnace to be 19 years old here in this 90 year old house. He explained some things regarding the ducting and the ducting interface to the furnace. He also explained a little about the mister that was hooked up for humidifying. He said our furnace was 90% efficient and should be good for a while. He gave us a price if we were to have to replace our furnace, and the quote was in line with other sources I had looked at. Very honest and patient with me an all my questions.

Carlson Heating was outstanding. Setting up the appointment, communication, punctuality, professionalism, courtesy - all were excellent. I would definitely call on them again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I called in response to buying an Angie's List deal and since he was in the area and had an open time he was here within 30 minutes. He knows his business and is licensed and bonded. He checked what should be checked and gave me some advice on things I can handle myself if needed. We also spoke about the proper air filters to use. He is a very personable person and is an owner/operator of his business. He told me he is available 7 days a week for emergency service calls. In checking his rates I found them to be very reasonable in comparison to some other heating and cooling contractors. I would use him in the future. I found nothing to criticize.

He was very professional, provided education on furnace and self maintenance. Since we had a new house and furnace was new to us, this was helpful, would definitely reccomendation him.

Carlson was about $4,000 cheaper than the other bids for the job. Paid exactly what he estimated we would pay. Always on time, friendly, and easy to contact. Did a great job overall. Will definitely use Carlson for all of our heating/cooling needs in the future.

Went wonderfully. Mike came on time, took my motor to a parts supplier to match it up, came back to install it, and charged me a very low price...

AC stopped working, I had no idea why, he was able to get me in right away and quickly and easily fixed the issue. Luckily for me it was just a blown fuse and some chewed wires! I had also contact Mike earlier in regards to adding heating/cooling to a room in our home. Unfortunately it is not possible to do, but Mike gave us some really good info about other options to try and was very informative. I will absolutely use him again in the future!
