The workmen were competent, clean, and did exactly what I wanted. I asked for a flat floor (the previous floor had a slant of 9 inches in 13 feet) and a new floor of engineered wood. The old floor was falling apart linoleum. They did NOT do a shoddy job nor cut corners.

The deck is beautiful and the work is high quality. Mike Foss is wonderful to work with. When we both agreed to do more than originally planned, he readily agreed to let me pay for the additional work by making payments over several months so that I would not have to borrow the money or use credit. Mike’s team always came when promised and arrived on time; unusual in my experience with other project contractors. I look forward to working with Mike again for other projects!

They did an excellent job reconfiguring our deck. They moved the stairs, replaced the wooden deck boards with composite, and made necessary repairs to strengthen the deck. Excellent job and we are already looking to do another project with them.

Quality of work and materials were excellent. There were some delays due to the weather and permit issues with the Village.

The entire experience was awesome! Mike took the time to explain everything and he worked with us on finding solutions to our HOA bureaucracy and working on flexible payment options that was truly "win-win." His crew was professional and courteous. We enjoy our days and evenings on our beautiful deck! I would highly recommend!!

The process went great. We discussed our thoughts and plans with Mike. He was very responsive and made excellent recommendatios on what to have done which we followed through on. The work itself went great also. His team removed our prior deck and built a new deck. The men doing the work, especially Greg and Joel, did an excellent job. The new deck has turned out great. The men also did a great job of cleaning up during and after completion of the new deck. My wife and I are are very satisfied with the process and the product!!

Mike and his team did an excellent job and the deck looks fabulous. Mike was always accessible to answer any questions and was hands-on with the project. We appreciated his approach and thoroughness.

Working with Mike and his crew on our deck renovation went well. His price was mid-range in the quotes we received. I was happy with the timeline of the project. The deck is beautiful and obviously very well made. We had one hiccup during the project where there was a difference in the material price that we were quoted vs what the final cost was but it was minimal. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the deck and working with Foss.

Mike and his team did excellent work. In full, we had four 40 year old decks removed and constructed with new replacements. We also used Mike for two flat roof replacements as well. The work was done expeditiously, weather permitting, and tuned out fantastic. We would for sure consider using them again for other project work as the construction talents go well beyond the advertised deck work.

Mr. Foss inspected the existing deck and was able to provide options and project estimates according to our desire to update the deck with a new "look" (railing) and material. I was also pleased that he could use existing components such as concrete piers which reduced the estimated cost. All work and clean-up was done in a very professional manner. My wife and I are very pleased with the result.

We hired Foss Custom Decks to tear down an existing deck and replace it with a new one. We also added a three-season room with removable windows and skylights. It was a beautiful addition to our home. We are very pleased with the quality of work and would definitely hire again.

They did an excellent job removing and rebuilding the deck on my registered historic house. In addition, they replaced two of my neighbors decks. It took only four days to remove and replace all three decks. The owner and workers were very courteous and professional, and I highly recommend the various services they provide.

Excellent wor done, timely and even picked up materials took care of my bill when they went to Menards to get material they took back my tub Surround exchange it and gave me back the difference. Nice guys full service good work

Mike created a custom deck using cedar vs. the standard pressure treated wood that’s usually called for. The work took longer than usual but the result speaks for itself. The deck is 100% better than the old, tired deck that was replaced and it looks beautiful and is solid as a rock. Would highly recommend Mike for this type of work anytime. :)

I talk to mike he called me and came he out , I told him what I wanted for deck . Everything is ready to go with all my supplies. He take all my supplies he all unwrapped it and telling me that they don't need it and now my dad is putting it back of what mike had opened. Very unprofessional

I had a large outdoor area in the city to work with (900 sq ft) and Mike ended up coming out to assess and hear what I was looking for. he asked plenty of questions and you could immediately tell he is a seasoned veteran and knows what he is doing. The work was such top quality I even had him come to add more. If there is a way for me to add pictures, I’d like to know because he made the terrace look so classy, I want other peoples homes to have the same quality of work put into it as Mike did for mine.
