Description of Work: We didn't choose Blue Water Plumbing. They came because we bought a water heater from Lowes and Lowes sent Blue Water to install it. The guy showed up on time, but did not identify himself, barely spoke a word, I had to ask him, "You're here to install the water heater, right?" He did not put on booties when he came in or at an point during the job. At one point he shut off the water to the whole house without letting me know (I was home with my 3-year-old). Then he did such a bad soldering job that we ended up with water leaking all over our basement that night. We ended up calling J. Blanton Plumbing to save the day (which Lowes reimbursed us for, but I wish Lowes would have just sent J. Blanton in the first place).

Description of Work: I have used Vince at Blue Water twice. He did a great job installing my dishwasher and I requested him to install my new toilet. In the future I will use him again for any plumbing needs I have. He did an outstanding job!

Description of Work: They were to install a water heater I bought at Lowe's. The installer first tried to pressure me to accept a damaged unit. When the proper one arrived, he forgot to tighten the dielectric. After the water heated up, it ran all over my floors for an hour (I had gone out to get groceries). He came back to fix the unit, but then they clammed up and claimed that I had sabotaged the dielectric.

Blue Water was contracted through Lowe's for the installation of a new kitchen faucet. Scheduling of the appointment was done promptly and the scheduler was very thorough (though I did not receive a pre-call on the day of the appointment to my cell phone as requested). The plumber arrived on time to complete the work. This was not a particularly complicated job, and it was done in approximately 45 min. Faucet seems to work well and I am satisfied with the work performed today. May have overpaid, but that's a function of contracting through Lowe's.

THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND HACKS They were to install a water heater at our house. The first one showed up damaged, but they only noticed this after removing my old water heater. They told me that they were on the hook for the damaged heater. They offered $50 off (???) and then started with the, and quot;Well, we can't guarantee that we can get you a new one or when we can get it installedand quot; to try to pressure me into taking the bad one off their hands. When I mentioned that I'd just call Lowe's and check inventory, they backed off and went to get a new one. They came back a few hours later with the new heater. According to the drawings from Lowe's, it would fit. However, there was a control box that wasn't dimensioned in the drawings. Not a big problem; anyone with half a brain would see that the door couldn't close unless you turned the unit 30 degrees. Well, guess what they did? They didn't check and installed it with the box sticking out. Never once did they mention this problem to me until they were done. Then they said, and quot;Well, get rid of the door.and quot; It gets worse. They leave, and I take off for a few hours. I come back to a wet kitchen (the heaters in a utility room off the kitchen). The halfwits had forgotten to tighten the dielectric on the water inlet. It ran for two hours, ruining the floors in my kitchen. We called, and they came to fix it. However, they then proceeded to lie to Lowe's and their insurance firm about what happened, claiming that there was no leak and no damage. Their hack insurance firm told us that in cases where the plumbers claim nothing happened, they have to assume that nothing happened - even though we had pictures of this. Stay away from these guys.
Description of Work: Theoretically, they were to professionally install a water heater.

They were the installers for Lowe's. It was okay. They were a little slow but it was all done in one day so it was okay. They took longer than they expected. I didn’t compare prices. I might use them again.
Description of Work: I used Blue Water Plumbing to install a toilet and a pedestal sink in the bathroom.
