Proceed with extreme caution and buy full insurance!!!! If you use them, get full insurance and literally have someone stand there in the truck and watch them place every item. We provided them with bubble wrap and tons of blankets and they used 25% of it. We were moving cross country and I hired them to load our stuff up onto a trailer. They destroyed 60% of our things. They literally put our dining room table on its side on the trailer floor with NOTHING underneath it, not even a blanket. It scraped along the trailer floor all they way across the country. Almost every single piece of furniture we own was scratched severely and we had to literally throw away 30% of our furniture. We had two men and a truck unload us in our destination city and they all felt so bad for us. They said this was literally the worst packing job they had ever seen and would sign statements or whatever we needed to help plead our case or get some money back. When I called I got transferred to their “supervisor” or claims handler and she was completely defensive right out of the gate and stonewalled me Bc my wife signed the contract after everything was loaded. We didn’t know that would void everything. How do you know you have a claim until after you find out when it’s unloaded? Lesson learned. If you have a different option I would recommend that. If not use them for 100% of everything and get full insurance!!!!

Awful dishonest company...lost my very expensive dinnerware, settles for barely nothing due to manager pushing for settlement, sent too small of truck for items that were moved 3 months prior....(move was temporary and would be moving back in 3 month) manager/or office rep was advised all the same items that would be moved again. They put all the blame on me. Said I did not advise them of items to be moved...I moved into a furnished house prior coming to an apartment and even sold large appliances they initially moved, but again stated I gave them an inaccurate account of items to be moved. Damaged furniture, put a 5 hour move into a 9 hours nightmare. Claimed they gave me a hefty discount which is not true, I mean I had to pay more but had no choice, it was their fault. Workers stood around and did more smoking than moving. I had used them twice before, no issues, but this last move was horrible..total loss of personal items and damage to furniture well over $2500.00. They are nasty in all their responses to you or the BBB through Illinois after being reported. Try to use another company first...you will be glad you did. trust me. Found out a friend of mine used them the same day, same time frame, and had a carbon copy experience as i did. Quoted 5 hours to move 4 miles, then they were sent too small of a truck, move took 9 hours. damaged furniture, etc. this is a pattern and a scam in some incidents. Beware!!!!!!! please check other companies out!!

What a great move experience! They were careful, polite, professional, and worked hard and quickly. And just as they arrived at the new house to unload, rain started coming down HARD. They made sure everything was covered in blankets through the rain, covered my new carpets in dropcloths to keep them clean, and got through it all quickly and carefully.

They were very good. They were excellent and I would definitely recommend them.

Did not use because they are too far from us.

Three bids they were the highest by twice the price.

Fantastic! Would give them an A+ if I could. Punctual, friendly, professional, responsible. Never got upset with us. Very careful with all our things. Excellent price, 1/4 of what was quoted by another moving company.

Worst service paid 225.00 for them to drop my chair and broke the leg. broke my treadmill a 1500.00 issue im still paying on my treadmill from sears on payments my credit card. and I couldn't sue because I didn't buy the extra insurance from them for 25.00 I was shocked I paid 225 to move and my arm chair is broke and my treadmill and I cant sue DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they hire off craiglist they r stupid and cant do the job hire anyone else!

Good. They are very fast and accommodating. One man was a little rushed and dropped something but nothing broke and they wrapped every thing well and were very well organized and highly efficient. I asked friends who used to have a large moving company about them beforehand and they vouched for them.

They were wonderful, absolutely wonderful. I will give them an ?A? rating in all the categories. They were fast, punctual, very efficient and very professional. They were very nice. I love them and I will definitely use them in the future. They estimated $300 but they were so good to charge me $200. I don?t have lots of stuff either.

The owner and his employees were very helpful and vigorous in their professional responsiveness.

We used them. It was in the beginning of May. They were very good. They were professional, courteous and quick. They unloaded the trucks that we bought from a different state. They charged us travel fees. If we were local, it would not have been as expensive.

Smoothly, called me to say they could show up early. Moved everything in a precise manner to keep costs down.

I called for an estimate. They came to assess what was going to be packed and transport. They arrived on time and did, as mentioned above, what they were supposed to do. They unloaded at destination.

No matter who you use in the moving industry remember you basically have little insurance if movers breaks or scratches your furniture. Moving insurance won't makeup for the damage, so the quality of the mover is paramount.

I have had other moving companies in the past and decided to try Two Men and a Truck because they were doing so much advertising in the area. I was very disappointed with their service and abilities as a moving company. There were actually three individuals but two of them really didn't know much about moving furniture so they were not very efficient. I basically paid for one guy to train to others for over 5 hours. I only had a few large items to move and it still took them over 5 hours because of the inexperience of the movers that were sent. When they moved the furniture into the house they did not ask where I wanted things, just left things in the middle of the room. They did not even put the legs back on the couch correctly so it caught on the carpet. The cushions to the couch were thrown on the floor. The bed frame was not assembled correctly and the middle piece almost broke. Luckily I caught these things and fixed them before any damage was done. I would not recommend using this company and will never use them again. Paying for people to be trained and the job taking over 5 hours for hardly anything to move is ridiculous and probably why they charge by the hour - they make more money that way. If you can go with one that charges by the job, take that one!!

They were on time and they didn’t damage the piano so they were very careful about that. They were good and they did the job they were supposed to do.

I was pleased with them. I would recommend them to a friend or family member. They were very professional, and they did a good job. I would use them again in the future.

We have had them a couple of times and they are good. They are very accommodating and pack things just the way you want them. They will supply any equipment you don't have and are very friendly. I will use them again in the future.
