Coast to Coast was great from the start. Very professional and prompt. Their cost of service was in the middle of the 4 estimates we received. But we chose them because they were the only company who said they could match the brick color so you could not tell the new bricks had not always been there. The work looks great! They even cleaned up so well you could not tell they had been there. I would definitely recommend them in the future!

It was a pleasure to work with Romen. He came out to the house for the estimate and was extremely thorough. He investigated each area of concern and spent considerable time understanding what the issue was and coming up with a plan of attack. I was very interested in the details, and he spent time diagramming the wall structure for me, explaining how a properly constructed wall should work and what the problem was and how they would fix it. The estimate was very thorough, and unlike other estimates that limited the tuckpointing to certain exterior walls or portions of walls, Romen's team would examine all walls of the house and tuckpoint anything that needed to be done. It was reassuring to know that when completed, there should be no further issues. HIs team showed up on time and worked extremely hard. All the tuckpointed joints blended in with the existing masonry and for each window and door they painstakingly removed all the previous dried caulk, cleaned out the joints and tooled in a smooth coat of caulk on each window/door. Any areas I was concerned about, were quickly addressed. The crew cleaned up after themselves and actually did a better job of putting away and rolling up the outside hose than I usually do. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them for any masonry work. It is enjoyable to work with someone who cares about their craft, wants to see the job done right and has a team that works hard and takes pride in their work.

Roman came out to give me the estimate. He looked at each window. He was very good about letting me know which needed to be replaced now and which were still in good condition. I was not pressured in any way to replace more lintels than I wanted to get done. Then he went on the roof to look at the chimney and he took pictures to show me the work that needed done. I was emailed a very detailed estimate for the work to be done and I called them to set up a date to get the work done. It took two days to complete the work. They were very punctual both days. The first day they replaced the lintels and did the tuck pointing on the other windows. They had a team of workers that knew what they needed to do and got right to work. They poured the chimney cap on the first day. The second day they acid washed the tuck pointing and installed the chimney liner. The company emailed me the bill which was the exact cost as the estimate.

Romen was a pleasure to work with. He was timely, personable, and offered several good options to pick from before job began. The whole team was professional and completed job in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Coast to Coast.

Coast to Coast (Mr. Ziaja) did a great job. He came out to give us an estimate in spite of a heavy rainfall. Before hiring Coast to Coast my husband and Mr. Ziaja communicated back and forth as questions came up. After he was hired Mr. Ziaja said he would do the work in two weeks (August 1, 2015). He said that if we needed him to do the work on a weekday it would be six weeks. My husband and I were happy that he could do the work so quickly. A few days before the work was to be completed, Mr. Ziaja brought out a number of brick samples to make sure that the brick he ordered matched the existing chimney. On August 1, Mr. Ziaja and his crew showed up just before 7. They set up a scaffolding adjacent to the chimney. I was so impressed that they did not destroy the plants in the garden immediately under the scaffolding! I REALLY APPRECIATED THAT! The worked efficiently and quietly. The crew removed all of the broken bricks and chimney cap. Then they rebuilt the top of the chimney, installed a new chimney cap and tuckpointed the entire chimney. By 3pm Coast to Coast had wrapped up. At that point Mr. Ziaja said that he would be back in the am to clean off the chimney. (A step he told us about before he was hired) He asked if he could come at 7am. My husband said yes. Mr. Ziaja asked my husband and I if were were satisfied. He said he wanted us to be satisfied. We told Mr. Ziaja that yes were were very satisfied! The next day Mr. Ziaja was prompt. He cleaned off the chimney. When he was done the entire chimney looked GREAT! The old and new brick looked seamless. Mr. Ziaja loaded up all the cracked bricks and buckets of debris as my husband wrote a check. When Mr. Ziaja left every sign that there had been work was gone. The one tiny comment I would make to Mr. Ziaja to help future customers......please advise customers that mortar and other debris will make a mess on the inside of the house. In complete fairness to Mr. Ziaja the fireplace in my living room is currently blocked with furniture from another room. PLUS I didn't even think about the possibility of dirt and debris coming down the chimney. I do NOT hold this against Coast to Coast. I just didn't even think about it. Thanks Coast to Coast!!!

Although the problem could not be fixed by a mason, he did provide us with his diagnosis and what our next steps should be. He was on time and even though he would not be getting any business from us that day he tried to give an opinion of the source of the problem, which was greatly appreciated.

These guys are absolutely AWESOME. I called for initial estimate, and within just 11 days - yes, only 11 days - my work was already completed! Blown away by the quality, the punctuality - and especially the efforts the crew went through for clean-up. My biggest worry was my front yard would be a mess based on my previous experience having masonry work done with a different provider. My front yard looks like they were never here! They are my new go to company for masonry work - will not even call anyone else for a second opinion.

Worked with Roman to coordinate all the efforts and he was very quick to respond, quick to provide estimate and schedule an appointment. Got estimates from a few others and their prices and considerable more and tried to upsell on other items not requested and hard to get a hold of. Coast to coast was prompt, showed up as scheduled, did a great job and left the site a good as it looked prior to their visit. Had a couple of areas that I wasn't sure it was done properly and Roman, clearly explained why that was the case and could come back out and redo it if I'm not completely satisfied. Asked him if someone to take a look and redo a few spots and the turnaround time was really quick. They came out and spent an additional 5 hours making sure everything was fully sealed without question and to complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had gotten 4 different estimates from companies. All pretty comparable price wise. However the professionalism, knowledge, and trust we felt with Romen from our initial estimate surpassed the others. It continued throughout the project. The crew was always on time, hard working, and professional. We are so pleased with our new fireplace and would definitely recommend them.

Their pricing was comparable to, or lower than, the other quotes that we received. They arrived exactly on time, and completed the rebuild and liner installation in one day. They returned the next day to remove the forms from the new chimney cap and thoroughly cleaned all of the bricks. They did a great job of protecting the areas near the chimney and they cleaned the roof and gutters at the end of both days. The chimney looks great; their workers were very professional and expert in their craft. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs masonry repairs to their home.

Roman came out and met with me to discuss the job. I appreciated that he was willing to meet me. Several other companies were content to drive by and look at the job. I really wanted to meet whoever would be doing the work. Roman's office then provided me with a very detailed, written job description and quote. We set a date. I later needed to push the job back a week and they were very nice about accommodating the change. They emailed me the day before with a reminder and told me what time to expect them. They showed up on time. The job consisted of taking the soldier bricks from above the windows, taking out the old, rusted lintels, putting down a waterproof shield, putting in new lintels and weep holes, and then closing back up, re-using the existing bricks. They had a 5 person crew come out and completed the job in about 4 hours. Someone came back out the next day to wash the bricks and the shutters. The crew was friendly and professional.

The crew showed up when promised. They looked and acted professional. They got right to work and did a great job. They finished ahead of the promised schedule. After the cleanup was done you would have not known they were here. The office followed up to be sure everything was done right.

Mr. Romen Zajac, the owner of Coast to Coast Masonry Group was very punctual and professional in providing his initial evaluation and cost estimates. He provided a series of options for repair of our basement walls, from the minimum necessary to improve the appearance of the deteriorated wall to a more in-depth repair that would be structural as well as cosmetic. He did not try to push any of the options on us but was very flexible, allowing us to balance the choice of repair strategies against their cost, without any pressure. While it is not easy to compare the estimates given by the vendor with those given by other companies, since each bidding vendor proposed somewhat different work, Mr. Zajac's estimate seemed comparable to others we received. It was certainly a more complete and flexible estimate than others provided. At least one other bidder was very aggressive and tried to badger us into choosing a cheaper repair that was purely cosmetic. The Coast to Coast work team arrived punctually on the appointed day and did a good job of repairing the basement wall and tuck pointing the outer walls of the house. They were very professional and polite. After the job was completed, Mr. Zajac personally inspected the work. He felt that the tuck pointing was incomplete in some areas and had his team return to complete the project to his (and our) satisfaction. He also felt that clean up was inadequate, so his team returned an additional day to more thoroughly clean the area around our house, including a careful cleaning and washing of our large front porch. Moreover, Mr. Zajac was extremely responsive to our requests. Customer satisfaction was clearly very important to him. Altogether, we were very satisfied with the work and found dealing with Coast to Coast Masonry Group very pleasant.

Perfectly. They were very professional, took care of everything that was in the contract, cleaned up when finished and made sure that were were satisfied before billing. They also handled the permitting, which included erecting scaffolding and a canopy over the sidewalk for the work on the facade. The weather didn't co-operate so the work took a bit longer than expected but that was not a concern for us. I would definitely hire them again for any future masonry work.

My wife lined up the contractor based on details I gave her about what needed to be done. I was very busy in a new job and couldn't take the time to call around for contractors. Roman was very polite, professional and helpful with her! The crew arrived on time on the appointed day and was very polite and professional. They used heavy-duty hand-held circular saws and hand tools to surgically remove both of the limestone sills below the window (not just the one that was tilted inward), and remove any mortar or caulk still stuck to them. They also cleaned up the brick around the opening so that both the brick and sills looked brand new. They installed a new heavy-duty moisture barrier inside the opening, put the original sills back in the opening, mortared them in place, and caulked all around the window. They did a good job of matching the original mortar and caulking colors. They looked like they had done jobs like this thousands of times! They cleaned up the work site and left everything just as they found it. About the only thing they didn't do was wash the window to remove the dust on it created by their power saws. The price was exactly as quoted. I would definitely use them again if I have other masonry work. FYI, we got a quote from another contractor who does masonry and window installation. He said that if he removed and replaced the sill, it would "never be right" (i.e. would continue to leak). He proposed that we replace the entire 8' wide x 12' high arched window at a cost of almost $5,000! Roman's crew got it right - the water runs off and no longer pools on the sill - at a fraction of what the other contractor quoted. We contracted someone else to deal with the interior damage as Coast to Coast doesn't do interior work.

Went great. Quote provided immediately with full explanation. Weather was a problem for the original start date and Roman contacted me to discuss and reschedule. I contacted office personnel with a question and phone answered by an individual and my question was answered immediately. Job completed and I am very satisfied. This company was very professional in every way.

We got a few estimates and went with Coast to Coast due to competitive pricing, Roman's thorough knowledge, and because we just really liked them. They did a great job. The crew arrived promptly and started work right away. They covered our furniture and kept things very clean in the house even with masonry coming down the chimney in piles. The work was completed efficiently and as promised. The new chimney looks terrific and the new liner is great. They also repaired brick work further down and installed waterproofing. No more dripping when it rains! They also replaced a random missing brick in the front of the house at no additional charge. I wholeheartedly recommend Coast to Coast.

The crew were courteous, worked quietly and after they were done, they cleaned the premises. I was so impressed with the work especially so that they left the premises immaculate. Roman and his team were professional from start to finish. Roman met me at the appointed time to bid the job. He performed the work in the following weeks, they were thorough in their work, and made the garage look ten times better, really rebuilding sections of it. Apparently they had a power outage while I was gone and they still completed the work. The garage door had to be lowered manually so when I tried to open it, it didn't work just right. I called and they were there immediately to adjust the door so it would open properly again. They would have done it before they left, but needed power back on to do so. I can't say enough. I am very grateful for their service and partnership. This was one of the easiest construction jobs I've ever managed. Trust them implicitly.

Chimney was deteriorating from age and severe winter. had partial rebuild several years ago, but bottom bricks now really bad. so bad, we had water seeping into the basement and furnace area. I got 3 other quotes with different options. chose Coast to Coast from angie?s list great reviews and I also felt i could relate and trust the owner, Romen. instead of cheaper patch job, we chose to do complete change.Due to our travel schedules, we set a date Oct. 1 to start, although i had to be postponed to 10/6 due to unexpected delay in another job and weather. However, once they started, it went very smoothly. They were very prompt, professional and clean. Workers were very polite and well mannered. The man in charge, Marek, was very nice and responsive. I keep in contact with owner, Romen, frequently as well. They had to do a lot of things, and I?m very impressed with their work and how the took care of the property. They cleaned up very well after themselves very well at the end of the project. Compared to the previous company I?ve used, they were far superior.

This contractor kept me fully informed as to the scheduling of the work. The work crew arrived on time and began work immediately. Most of the work was completed the first day with a follow up day needed to remove the molding structure around the chimney crown. The crew cleaned up the work site as promised before they left. After the crew left I noticed that the chimney crown appeared to have black spots on it and the corners of the crown looked ragged and chipped in appearance. I mentioned this to Romen, the Owner, and he called one of the workman back to touch up the concrete crown so that the surface looked smooth and finished properly. I was very pleased with Romen's responsiveness and his ability to listen to my concerns throughout the execution of this masonry work. Romen also accommodated me in providing a detailed work estimate for my insurance company. I highly recommend this company for your masonry needs. They are true professionals and they know what they are doing. The quality of their work is top-notch and if you are unhappy for any reason, they will make it right. I would definitely use them again in the future. In fact, I plan to hire them again to finish tuck pointing the rest of my house.
