Coast to Coast Masonry Group Inc

Our 60+ year old chimney was in need of repair. Unfortunately, it was so far gone that it needed to be demolished to the roofline. Coast to Coast was not the cheapest and not the most expensive contractor that we spoke to, but they gave us the most confidence that the job would be done right. As it turns out, almost none of the original bricks could be reused and they needed to visit multiple brickyards to find matching material. The end result matched perfectly with the lower peortion of the chimney. It has been two years and we have no complaints or regrets.

Romen provided both the lowest estimate and the earliest time to complete the job. He was professional and helpful during the estimate. His crew arrived as scheduled, on time and did an excellent job tuck pointing and repairing/replacing damaged bricks as needed. I would certainly use Coast to Coast and Romen again in the future.

Great Service. Very professional estimate. Romen made an appointment showed up on time and gave me a job estimate the next day. I hired them, they gave me start work date and showed up on that date and started work. They did an excellent job of tuck pointing. They cleaned up all messes before they left. They even found a few areas that needed caulking and caulked them for free. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again if needed.

I met with and interviewed 7 different masons before finally deciding to go with Coast to Coast and they did not disappoint. A crew of three did all this work over two days. They were very quick and professional on this job. Romen was my contact person and who came out to inspect the required work and provide the estimate. He was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. He was very attentive and good about providing good customer service and making sure that I was happy. I felt that the price they quoted me was very fair and the work was excellent. After they finished the work, I had to call them back to do some minor cosmetic cleanup and they were very quick to do this for me. I did my final inspection today and overall I am very happy with their work. I will definitely use Romen and his crew again should any future need for brick repair arise. I highly recommend Coast to Coast!

I contacted Coast to Coast because the Mason that was scheduled to remove my cement wall coping was a no show. We have a leak in our roof and needed help ASAP. Roman was patient and so kind with me. Promised to send someone out next day to look over the scope of the work. Finally, my guy showed up, so I cancelled Roman's services, but would never hesitate to use them in the future. Very customer service oriented!!

Very pleased with the service - quote was very reasonable for quality of the work. They showed up right on time and did a very thorough job of sealing up some bricks and cracks in foundation. They even came back the next day for some quick follow up waterproofing. This is now go to company for further work. Highly recommended

We contacted this contractor requesting information about repairing our concrete steps and possibly doing some tuckpointing and glass block work after the steps were fixed. Within five hours of sending our email, the contractor responded, saying they don't do concrete work (steps) but offering to set up an appointment for an estimate on the other work. While the company can't help me with my most important project, I appreciated the fast response so that I can focus on finding contractors who do, rather than waiting to hear back from them. We will get back in touch with this company when we're ready to investigate the tuckpointing and glass block windows.

I need my concrete and slate tile front stoop repaired/replaced. I contacted Coast to Coast (I can't recall if it was via email or through Angies List messaging) and was contacted via phone the next day scheduling an appointment a few days later. Roman was prompt and professional. He spent an hour talking with me and brainstorming what we could do. He conveyed knowledge in his field and I trusted his opinion based upon prior experience and speaking with other companies too. Unfortunately my job was outside the scope of his expertise which he apologized for and even discussed some other companies to call instead. What we discussed within his purview seemed accurate and was very reasonably quoted. I would not hesitate to contact him again and appreciate his absolute honesty.

I have used a number of contractors since owning my house. Without a doubt Coast to Coast is the best company I have used from Angies List. They are a superior company in their trade and take approach the job as if it were there own home. I will try to articulate why they are such a phenomenal company below and why other companies should strive to achieve their performance. Reason for Work: I had a contractor over doing a very complicated job where there was a very real possibility that due to the nature of the job that tuck-pointing may be required. Unfortunately when the contractor did the demo damage to my basement wall was so severe, it was beyond the skill of the contractor to repair. The basement wall was in such bad shape I I could see outside. I have previously used Coast to Coast Masonry Group Inc. with excellent results and thus immediately called Coast to Coast. I explained this was a semi-emergency since I did not want rain and small pests entering my house due to the large cracks in the basement wall. Coast to Coast came out within one day and reassured me they could fix my issue and quickly. Stanley was the representative that came out and did a wonderful job of explaining the recommended solution. Stanley did not recommend a quick fix like some other companies may have, but a well thought out plan based on the damage to my wall and the goal of fixing the issue once. It gets better. They agreed to come out on a Saturday which was huge for me so I did not need to take a precious day off from work. They showed up at the promised time and carried out the work with extreme skill and professionalism. I closely monitored the process and not at one point was there anything that gave me hesitation or concern. The 2 tradesman that did the work were extremely courteous and friendly. Clean-Up was done so well I could not tell that they were here today other than the great looking repaired wall ! Fantastic job Coast to Coast ! Our building was built in 2007 and the coping did not have any sheathing underneath it. The result was water soaking through and down the foundation behind the outside brick, which would then drain/leak from the window and sliding door frames of the upper floors. CTC quoted the best price of three contractors for remediation work that included: removing the coping, adding aluminum sheathing and drain wicks, replacing the coping and sealing the creases between pieces. Good communications, good responsiveness, I felt comfortable when dealing with them. Would recommend them.

He did a fantastic job. He was professional and efficient in his craftsmanship, and I will be using him again for my garage as well as tuck-pointing around the entire house.

Everything from the quote, the job, and the follow up has been great. The quote came in close to another reputable company but they seemed to have a better understanding of what needed to be done and were find quoting out sections of the work individually. The crew worked for about a week and despite the amount of brick work being done never left a big mess. During the project they were able to help diagnose and fix a water issue I was having (that wasn't included in the original quote) A couple areas where they had to remove some drywall (to get to the bricks) were replaced/repaired. After all the work was done I noticed a spot that both I and them overlooked (it was a hidden spot that you could only see from one angle) I mentioned it to them to see if they could come back and check it out. They were back within a week and fixed it for free. The tuck pointing and the replaced bricks look great. You would never know work was done. Very happy with the work done.

Response time to my call was within an hour, Roman came out and looked at the issue the next day. I received a quote shortly after, and accepted it. Work was started within a few days, and completed in 2 days, very efficient and neat. Would highly recommend them.

Romen was on time for the initial consultation which I was able to schedule shortly after contacting Coast to Coast. He turned the quote around quickly and on the date promised. Coast to Coast followed up with a phone call to make sure that I had received the quote. The price was much better than that quoted by another provider and without damaging or disrupting the existing fireplace as the other provider anticipated. The proposal included enough information and Romen spoke to my contractor, making me feel comfortable that the work proposed was appropriate. I received a reminder email the day prior to the work commencing. I also received an update during the work. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the promptness and the amount of communication. The work crew showed up as promised and the work looks to have been done well. We have not tried out the fireplace yet, but I do not expect any problems and if there are any, I feel comfortable that Coast to Coast will come back and take care of them. I strongly recommend Coast to Coast.

Romen came out immediately after my call to look at the exterior and interior basement walls. He provided a detailed description of the proposed work within 2 days. We decided to do just the exterior work so he came back with a revised proposal immediately. s to He was very responsive to my questions preceding the start of work, both by phone and e-mail. The crew came right on time and and completed the job within a day and a half. They were extremely neat (using dust-catching grinders) and cleaned up completely. Very professional. Very pleased with the job.

Romen came out one afternoon to review the property and provide an estimate. As we walked around the house, he pointed out a few additional cracks that I hadn't noticed. He also provided us with suggestions for some work that was outside his usual scope. Our estimate came within 2 days. It was a little higher than some other ones we'd gotten, but because of Romen's eye for detail, we went with them. They arrived promptly at the time the work was scheduled, reviewed the work order with my wife and started to work. Everything was done quickly, in a very professional manner. The new caulking where the foundation met the sidewalks and stairs matched the surrounding concrete very well. The clean up was very well done. I wouldn't have known they were there my wife hadn't confirmed it. Nice job.

Romen provided a detailed estimate within 24 hours of coming out to see the building. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and his attention to customer satisfaction was outstanding. The crew was prompt, courteous, and professional. They efficiently set up outdoor scaffolding and protected all areas inside the apartment with tarps. The cleanup was excellent and the finished product is first rate. We would definitely hire Romen and his crew again and highly recommend them to anyone.

I really can't say enough about Coast to Coast. We've had a number of water issues involving both our brick masonry facade on the first floor of the house and in our poured concrete crawl space. Our house is almost fifty years old and was not well maintained before we purchased it, so we have had a number of very unusual problems. Coast to Coast has successfully addressed at least five big problems we've had over the last two years including waterproofing our exterior brick, waterproofing the exterior of our crawlspace foundation, and tuck pointing. This review is for the most recent repair, where Romen and Stanley have found the source of some water that made its way through our brick before landing inside our crawlspace on the concrete foundation footing. Like I said, our house is almost fifty years old. We're basically rebuilding it as the original owner (who we bought the place from two years ago) didn't maintain it very well. Among the many different contractors we've had address problems (electricians, plumbers, interior work, roofers, the list goes on), Coast to Coast has been the absolute best. All of the work they've done for us (many days worth now) has been well planned, fast, and done right the first time.

Great job. Worked hard to match the brick. Romen was easy to work with and seemed devoted to customer satisfaction. Chimneys rebuilt satisfactorily even though 8" brick was no longer available. Excellent job replacing broken bricks on front of house and repointing areas where needed. They were also able to clean off all stains on the back and side walls of the house. Definitely recommend.

Roman and his crew did an outstanding job they did everything they said they were going to do very prompt and courteous I would definitely use them again.
