Best contractor I have ever hired! It was no inconvenience to wait a few days for the owner, Roman, to come out to give me an estimate and also I had to schedule the work out a few weeks. It was definitely worth the wait. They were very professional and completed the work exactly as promised in the original estimate. They were finished, cleaned up and gone before I got home from work that day and sent me a bill via email a couple days later. Thank you coast to coast!!

I am the treasurer of a 16 unit walk up building (3 floors) in Rogers Park. Our building needed some serious tuckpointing work specially in the back. We contacted numerous tuckpointing companies and had very mixed responses. Some came in very high in price, some wanted to give me a cut back, some gave incomplete estimate and never came back, some never came in the first place. This was a very taxing experience. Then we found Coast to Coast. They sent their representative, Stanley. Stanley was very professional and thorough. He went over different scenarios of what needed to be done as what was more of a cosmetic and not as urgent. He took pictures and then presented us with a very thorough estimate. His price was actually the most reasonable we received. When we agreed on the price, they scheduled us to start the work soon after. They showed up on the day they were scheduled. Here are my observations on their work: 1. They were very punctual and worked all day. 2. They sent anywhere between 4-6 workers which made the overall job go faster than we all anticipated. 3. They made sure they left everything clean. 4. They went above and beyond what was promised. I can honestly thing our building looks brand new now and everyone I spoke with gave great compliments and feedback. We, in our building, are trying to have a preferred list of contractors for all purposes. Coast to Coast is definitely our top choice when it comes to Tuckpointing. I highly recommend them.

They were easy to schedule and showed up on time, every time. They went above and beyond my expectations. These guys are amazing and I highly recommend them.

THE WORKMAN ARRIVED AT THE APPOINTED HOUR, DESCRIBED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO, AND THEN SET ABOUT DOING IT. WHEN HE FINISHED HE ASKED ME TO INSPECT THE WORK, WHICH I FOUND TO BE PERFECT EXCEPT FOR SOME CEMENT RESIDUE ON THE WALLS. HE EXPLAINED THAT IT WOULD BE NECESSARY TO LEAVE IT OVERNIGHT AND THAT HE WOULD RETURN THE NEXT DAY AND COMPLETE THE JOB. WE WERE NOT AT HOME THE NEXT DAY AND WHEN WE RETURNED I FOUND THAT HE HAD INDEED RETURNED. HIS WORK WAS SO GOOD THAT I COULD NOT IDENTIFY WHERE THE TUCK-POINTING HAD BEEN DONE AND THE SILL WAS PERFECT! MY KUDOS TO COAST TO COAST.

The work preformed was top notch. Started work on time. They where suppose to replace the chimney above roof and install new stainless steel liner. After review it was decided the new liner was not needed at this time, they replaced three clay tiles inside chimney. A very good explanation was given so you understood what the situation was .This is a very old house so you never know what you will find! There was a hole in chimney hidden under some insulation they found and repaired in attic. Clean up was excellent you can't tell someone was even there. I would recommend them to anyone in need of there services. The best part was, communication was excellent in explaining the problem and options . After talking with them you went away understanding and confident in the decision made between you and them. The liner was removed from the initial quote. Final bill was about half of what we expected. it was a great experience in dealing with them believe me. we now know a little bit more about this old house.

Top notch, fast, professional & all-around friendly service! Called and had an appointment the next day. The owner, Romen, fully explained everything, answered all our questions, took pictures and showed us exactly what needed to be done, what he recommended and why. He video taped the inside so we could see if liners were needed. The utility liner was in bad shape and needed to be replaced but the fireplace liner was still pretty good and he did not try to over sell us by saying we needed a new one of those too. Said that if the fireplace liner ever needed to be replaced in the future it could be done at that time. He was very reasonably priced. I got another quote for the exact same work from another "top" known company in the area, but they quoted me double what Coast to Coast quoted me! Romen and his crew did exactly what he said they would quickly and efficiently. He returned calls immediately and did a great job in working around our schedule. They left the place cleaned up, neat and tidy. Another impressive thing he did was that this is a 90 yo house & chimney and he did a fantastic job of finding and matching up the bricks to the old ones so you can't even tell they are different. I couldn't be happier with the result and the service from Coast to Coast! I would not hesitate to call them again and will continue to recommend them to everyone!

Very responsive. I called to get a quote, and Roman was here the next day. I had an estimate the following day and set up a date for work to be done. A two-man crew arrived within the time window and did the tuckpointing and re-bricking in a couple of hours. They were able to do a very good job matching brick and mortar on our 90+ year-old house. Actually, the job was so good that even my husband was impressed. They then returned the next day to wash down the bricks, removing any dried-on mortar. I'd call them again for any of our brickwork.

The entire experience was pleasant. Roman and his team came out and did an initial assessment, gave a quote and then performed the job. While there quote was not the lowest, their assessment was the most honest and thorough. On the day of the work the team came out on time and was ready to go. Even though the crew did not speak English all that well, they managed to explain what they were doing. They finished the work over the course of a week. First they did the tuck-pointing and flashing, and then they came back to paint and seal. They even worked with us to seal the entire back of the building and not just my portion. We had to pay them a little extra but Roman was willing to work with me on the price. So far with heavy rains there has not been any leaks. So far so good. Coast to Coast gave us a 1 year labor guarantee on the labor. Though we will have to see how the work holds up, working with Roman and team was good and the work appears to be solid. I would definitely use them again

This group is very professional. From the get go they did what I wanted them to do: seal my leaking basement walls with concrete mortar and assure me that efflorescence would be eliminated or minimized. They did this by removing all prior coatings, then applying with steel rivets a polymeric mesh to hold concrete mortar, which was applied in two separate coatings. During the entire process I was constantly and appropriately apprised of their work and issues they were correcting. All of my old brick walls were coated by the end of one week, and I was advised to call them about any concerns. Within a second week there were hairline cracks in some of the mortar, so they came back, removed the defective sections, and recoated the walls with a different formulation, and smoothed the second application. They were very professional in all aspects of their work, and cleaned up well when they finished. Again, I was advised to call if there were any further concerns. I had none. I myself have experience with concrete and mortar, but I could never do the kind of professional job they did. Once I let the mortar coating cure appropriately, which took approximately three weeks, I then applied two coats of sealer. My basement walls look better now than at any time since I have owned the house, about twenty-eight years, during which the walls had been resealed twice. The expertise and professionalism shown by Coast to Coast should be emulated. Their business model is excellent, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

They discussed alternatives in the event the work turned out to be more complicated and provided an alternative pricing mechanism. Fortunately, the work needed was as expected. They did a nice job installing temporary interior support of first floor joists and the house main beam at my request since a significant number of bricks were being removed. They did not make a mess and cleaned up their work area well. They matched the brick. Looks like no repair was ever needed. Great job.

Romen initially gave a detailed quote to our real estate broker since we were buying from outside the state, he willingly came back to discuss it in detail with us. They arrived on the day they said they would, worked hard, keeping the area clean and being respectful of our property and the neighbors. Work was completed ahead of schedule with no breaks and came in under budget. Romen voluntarily invoiced only on the work that was required, showed us pictures of what they had found and what didn't need to be done. Very honest. I would highly recommend them. Great craftsmanship.

We are very impressed with the high quality of work this company has done at our house. The first day of work was pouring rain, but nevertheless they did not reschedule dismantling of the walls and worked hard until evening. They removed and examined every stone very carefully, and as a result we had just a few limestones broken up. Despite the rain, there was no any mess left and the piled stones looked tidy. Next, we were working with another company on pouring foundation, and they did not mind to wait for almost two months before they could continue. Rebuilding was done again very professionally; they were highly skilled in incorporating new stones for replacement, and cleaning the old stones with the acid wash produced great result. The co-owners personally supervised the progress and it was obvious that they are kind to their employees. Romen and Stanley were always accessible and answered all our questions patiently. Surprisingly, they did not require to pay a deposit and we paid the whole sum upon project completion. At last but not least, both times they scheduled their visits promptly!

The woman in the office was fantastic and responsive. The estimate was more than fair. They did the work on the date agreed and returned to complete the job in a timely manner due to the rain. After tuck-pointing many areas needed and replacing broken bricks and limestone edging they then billed me. No deposit was required! I would use their services again if needed and highly recomment the company.

Excellent, Mr Zajac provided 2 options on how the work could be done, this was important to us. He was very responsive in sending the quotes and the work was done in a very professional manner and on time. After the work was completed the job-site was thoroughly cleaned up, and we got a call from him to confirm that the work was done satisfactorily, before he billed us. Coast to Coast came and removed the bricks within an hour, and then thoroughly cleaned up the work area. They arrived a bit ahead of schedule, and they were extremely polite and efficient.

Working with Coast-to-Coast was a great experience from beginning to end. Our fireplace chimney was damaged during tree trimming and was at risk of bricks falling onto the roof below. We quickly obtained four bids from locally accredited masonry companies and chose Coast-to-Coast based on their higher overall value. They were extremely professional and rearranged work so that they could address our needs starting the next week.. The quality of workmanship was superior, and they cleaned up completely after each day's work. They even went above and beyond, replacing more brick than quoted (at no extra cost) just to give the best finished appearance. I would highly recommend Coast-to-Coast and will definitely use them for any future needs.

The front of my house has a brick façade. I had water leaking in through windows in the front of my house. Before contacting Coast to Coast I had contacted a roofer who couldn't find a problem. I had a handyman help me caulk and seal around the windows and that didn't solve the problem. Coast to Coast came out and identified the flashing around the windows as a problem and also recommended waterproofing the brick. They did the work and I have not had any water leaks since then. I was very pleased with their service. They were easy to work with and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend them.

It went very well. The accurate and detailed contract has been presented, all the details were explained, and the work was done quickly & professionally. The problem with chimney has been resolved.
