SWIFT HAULING

I am cleaning my house and garage of 25 years of assorted accumulation. The basement was full of old furniture that I had thought "the kids might want someday" and hobby equipment and tools left by family members. I found Swift Hauling on Angie's List, and used the form on their website to describe the amount of stuff that I have. I got an email back a day later, giving me an approximate cost.. They gave me an estimate of 275 - 325. I called them back on Monday and they agreed to come and pick up the stuff on Wednesday at 9 AM. Two guys and a truck arrived 5 minutes early. I showed them my piles of "stuff" in the garage, in the basement, and in the house. I had tried to put as much of the stuff in one place, but I also had a big heavy computer desk thing in a small room in another part of the basement, which was too heavy for me to move, and another very heavy worktable created from a solid-core door. I had a desk in a bedroom that I also couldn't move by myself. They did a great job of clearing out everything. They took apart the computer desk to make it easier to get it up the stairs, and checked with me several times to verify whether a particular item should be taken away or not. One reason I liked Swift Hauling is they say they try to recycle as much as possible, and a lot of my stuff might be useful to someone else. I just didn't want to deal with trying to use "freecycle" or Craig's List to get rid of it myself. Also, inevitably, the piles of stuff included a lot of stuff that I had forgotten to mention on the form when I asked for the estimate, so I wouldn't have been surprised if they increased the cost, but they didn't. Charge was $325, which was right on target.

Answered phone right away and scheduled on the date I asked for. Arrived on time, was very pleasant and efficiently removed the items from my garage. I was very pleased and will use them again for any future hauling needs.

Both the TV and water heater were quite heavy and awkward. They arrived promptly and moved the items out efficiently. They were careful of walls and floors. They came with an older truck than some of the more fancy ones shown on some other junk removal sites but it's junk removal and it went well. I would use them again.

They arrived early and within 15-20 minutes they had it moved and installed in the office. They were pleasant and efficient. It was an excellent experience.

The work took longer than they expected, but the two Davids were very good. This is the second time I've used Swift Hauling.

Prompt response to e-mail- gave a very reasonable price, came exactly on time next day and moved out from basement a very heavy treadmill without any damage to walls or doors.

The whole process was extremely easy. I called on Tuesday afternoon to ask about removing an old wire fence on our property. They were out the next morning to take a look at the fence and old lumber scraps from a porch that was torn down before we bought the house. They gave an estimate for removing everything on the spot and were back on Thursday morning to take everything away. They were able to take down the old fence and haul everything away in less than an hour. Highly recommend them, and will use them again whenever we have hauling needs.

Dave and Dave arrived promptly. They were very courteous. When I showed them all the articles, Dave in charge indicated it might cost more than the phone estimate, and I completely understood. The shelves were huge and in terrible shape and there was lots of "stuff" that needed to be hauled out. He had to take all the shelves apart and cut them down to remove them from the room they were in and then haul them up and out of the house. They worked for 3 hours in almost 90 degree heat to complete the whole job and were extremely reasonable. I will definitely hire them again when I need hauling.

It was a very pleasant experience. Dave took the time to show me each thing he was pulling out of the garage to see if I wanted to keep it or pitch it. I sat on the patio like a queen while they brought me item after item. I am on oxygen and could not do anything but supervise. Dave didn't even get ruffled when he had to explain what the item was. (from my deceased husband's trade tools etc.) They were both extremely patient men and had a sense of humor when they asked for the 6th time if I wanted to keep a gas can. (Yup about 7 of them in all.) They cleaned up and swept the floor and even sprayed a wasp nest for me. I will definitely use them again.

Very friendly and professional; was able to come out to complete work within 2 days. Arrived on time and was careful with walls and hard-wood flooring.

I called Swift Hauling and they offered to come the next day. They gave me a quote of $75 for removing a fridge and freezer from my basement. The two men from Swift Hauling had to work very hard to get the appliances out, because apparently they were probably brought in through a basement door before a deck was added in the 90's. They had to take off the fridge/freezer doors (and maybe even some other parts) and fit them through very tight spaces to get them out and in the truck, but did so without complaining. Even though they stuck to their quote of $75, I added on $25 for all their trouble.

He was wonderful and got right to work, up and down the stairs over and over again until everything was removed. I also called him for a second job several weeks after the first as we were having new carpeting installed. He came out the SAME day and removed all of the old carpeting (even in the rain) along with some other old furniture we had found in the basement. Would use this service again and again!!

I called Dave late one afternoon and he said he could come out early the next morning. During our call I described most of the items I wanted removed and he gave me an estimate. He showed up promptly the next morning with another man, and despite how heavy some items were, they remained in good humor and charged me the estimated price. It was well worth it!

I described what needed to be done and was quoted over the phone. Arrived on time, were very quick, left area clean and swept. Delivered exactly on time and performed work as promised for quote given over phone. Eliminated the need for me to rent and load a dumpster myself. Will definitely use them again. Great job at a very fair price.

Dave Baehr the owner quoted me over the phone. He then come out promptly and removed all the trash we had stacked outside. And we had a lot! Cast iron bathtub, cement floor, plaster and lathe with tile, cabinets and toilet. He wasn't finished until he swept the floor clean and all traces of junk were gone.

WILLING TO SERIOUSLY BID ON A JOB OTHERS DIDN'T WANT TO DO. EFFICIENT, CLEAN AND PROFESSIONAL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE USED THEM. EXCELLENT SERVICE.
