The guy who came was super awesome. Everything is great about him, except his price because it's higher than the other company. On the other, he was so nice and really professional.

I was very pleased with the quality of work performed by RDC last year when they installed my new asphalt driveway so I hired them to seal coat the same driveway this week. They primed any oily areas before they sealed the driveway. The quality and heaviness of the coal tar emulsion was the best that I've seen used by any contractor. The application method was also done to the highest standards. They used a paint brush to edge the tar where the asphalt meets the concrete at the garage and at the street so that no splashing occurred. The application was impeccable. It was a pleasure working with RDC from the request for quote all the way through to completion. A contract for the work was signed, and they called in advance to see if there were any restrictions on days and times. They arrived at the exact time that they said they would, and while not necessarily relevant, I appreciated that their equipment was clean and the two men who applied the coating were professional, friendly, and took the proper time to do the job well without the usual rush and go that I've seen with others. If you are the kind of person who doesn't mind having someone ring your doorbell with a cold call saying they are in your neighborhood and can do your driveway cheaply, then these aren't the people for you. They are higher priced, but they are a good value given the quality of materials and workmanship, and my driveway will not need to be redone next year which has been my experience with using other companies in the past. They also have a really good list of references on their website and do other services. They were originally recommended by my landscaper. They were great.
