J ANDRESEN & SONS TUCKPOINTING

They were supposed to be here Monday 8/31 thru Thursday 9/2 to complete work on my building. They did not show up on Thursday 9/2 and today (9/8) they showed up without any warning whatsoever. I spent this morning cleaning up my balcony from all the dust and debris they left last week and now I will have to do it again because they don't know how to schedule their work properly. When I asked them what time they would be finished today, the old man told me "not to worry about it" as if I don't have a right to know why they are here a week late to complete a job that was scheduled to be completed nearly a week ago. Horrible communication and very rude.

I originally looked into tuckpointing my whole house. I asked for 3 bids and also looked at 3 contractors' work. I thought Andreson's work was great and I also talked to former customers who also were very satisfied. I picked Andreson because I thought the price was right, they seemed to really know how to do the work well, and I got a good and quot;feelingand quot; from the contractor. I ultimately decided to just get one chimney rebuilt and one tuckpointed and to patch a couple of areas of the house. Andreson was really wonderful in terms of their flexibility. They gave me quotes on all of the possible iterations of work and told me the quotes would be good through next year if I decided to do more tuckpointing. The work done on our house was, indeed, outstanding. I never thought they would match the mortar with the old mortar but it was an almost exact match. The job went a little longer than I expected but the most important thing to me was the quality of the work, which was very good. I would recommend Andreson for tuckpointing and chimney rebuilding.

The men of J Andresen and Sons were very prompt, professional, passionate, skilled and courteous. We were extremely impressed with their efficiency and quality of work.
