From the first appointment, I have been impressed by this contractor's skill, troubleshooting ability, professionalism and pricing. The company has grown over the past few years, but no matter which technician comes to my home to do work, they fix the problem quickly, charge a fair price, and clean up after themselves. I have recommended them to co-workers and friends who also continue to use this plumbing contractor.

Intercounty Plumbing did a wonderful and professional job. I would definitely call on them in the future.

They come evaluate the problem, run to home depot, etc. for the new fixture, return and install the fixture. They have always been very responsive and did good work.

Silviu Sofairu at Intercounty Plumbing Inc is a young guy with a think accent but got up in my attic and told me it wasn't my sink pipe it was my roof that was leaking. He said he would fix it so he got up on my roof with his materials and was extremely meticulous when he greased the inside of the pipe area with dark tar stuff to seal everything. He could have lied to me and sold me a $600 job which I would have never known. I've had him back to fix my sinks since then. He charges by the job and not by the hour. He was very reasonable, honest, neat, and cleaned up after himself with a fair price.

They were very responsive and came out almost immediately even though the area had had some of the worst flooding in years and all plumbers in the area were very busy. The job took longer then usual because the clog was about sixty or seventy feet out from the cleanout pipe and it took several passes to get all the roots out.

I have used this company many times in my restaurant. It was a friday night about 7pm the drain started backing up in the kitchen area, which could of ended up closing us down for the night, I called them up, and they came out within the hour to unclogg the drain, and get us back up an running without having to close! It was a tense situation, but them comming out so fast saved the night, Thank you!

Silriu is very professional. He is on time and he keeps site clean. His work is top rated. The only thing that I am not quite sure is his price. But given his reliability, I'd use him again.

I have previously reported on this contractor but that was several years ago. Angies List was looking for more recent feedback. I cannot recommend this company more highly. Silviu is exceptionally honest, knowledgable, and price-conscious (always looks for the most economical way to resolve a problem and offers great suggestions). I have used his company for over three years now, feel very lucky to have found him purely by accident -- before I used Angie's List. Intercounty Plumbing is a smaller company, and so sometimes I've had to wait a day or two (in a non-emergency) to get the problem fixed, but emergencies have always been handled promptly. The contractor shows up when promised and I always feel that he is providing good value and that he has never tried to inflate a bill.

It is a pleasure dealing with Silviu, the owner of this company. I found him completely by good luck, before I had an Angie's list memebership, and by going through the phone book looking for someone local after my former plumber went out of business. My home is older, with older plumbing fixtures. Twice, Intercounty Plumbing had rodded a toilet on the main floor of the house, one time he worked to repair a lack of water pressure in a toilet on the lower level of the house, and most recently, I called him to rod a completely clogged bathtub drain. I've also hired him to clean my outside drains from tree roots that can encroach, and we're on a schedule to do this twice a year. What I like best about Silviu is that he always tries FIRST to do the least expensive repair, if he believes that will work. And when he indicated I really should replace one of the toilets because any "fix" will be temporary, he had suggestions about what the best type would be (it was not the highest priced) and recommended that I ask for one with a larger than standard opening for waste to be flushed, saying that most people just buy the standard one, but for only a small amount more in initial cost, the other kind will require less service over its lifetime. He is the owner of the company and when he promises he will be there....you can believe he WILL be there.
