COTTAGE HILL EXTERIORS

In late September 2020, I hired Cottage Hill Exteriors to replace the roof on my house. When the material was dropped off in my driveway, the power vent (attic fan) was not tied down to the pallet. We had a wind storm which delayed the install for a day or two, however, the power vent ended up in the neighbor’s yard. When Bill Trudeau came out the first work day, I told him about the power vent and he stated he would install the vent and if it did not work properly, he would replace it. When the weather started getting warmer, the power vent started as it should, however, it is extremely loud. From inside the house, it sounds like someone is mowing the yard. From outside the house, it is even worse. I have tried contacting Cottage Hill Exteriors via phone, text, and email and still no response. The BBB has also been contacted. All I am looking for is a replacement power vent as promised.

The owner, Bill Trudeau, is totally invested in his company. He has periodically stopped by to make sure that we are still satisfied with what was done at our house close to ten years ago. His team was efficient, showed up on time, and cleaned up. Only negative was that they put holes in a few of our window screens, which I didn't notice immediately and have not mentioned to Bill.

The owner is meticulous and HE is not satisfied unless the job is perfect. For example, when we had the siding done, HE wasn't happy with the color of the vent that was installed and HE came back and replaced it personally. I have recommended them to family and friends, and all who used them were equally happy with their work. They came when they said they would and the work they did was great.

They did a good job. The price was paid by the insurance company. They were nice guys, were quick, followed up well, cleaned up after themselves and were friendly. Gutters took longer than it should have but the guys did a good job. Their pricing was good and they did a good work. I compared their price with other companies and their price was not the highest but not the lowest. Their quality was always good. I was in construction business for fifteen and I like to watch them.

Came, repaired the siding and also checked out our roof at no cost.

He came on time, just as promised. Repaired siding which the company had installed a couple of years ago. We also had a very positive experience then. I remember that I called the owner after paying and told him that I noticed that one of the window screens was damaged. I told him that I was not 100% sure if his company had done it, but it sure seemed that way. He told me that this was no problem and he would come and pick it up to have it repaired. A couple of days later I came home and everything was fixed as promised.

They done really good work. They were absolutely exceptional.

The work crew arrived each morning (the job took two days) and "got to work". The lead person "checked in" that the work was beginning so I would not let the dog out. They left my house looking better than it had with the details they did around outdoor faucets; telephone boxes; dryer vent; etc.. Looks great! They worked steadily throughout the day and left a very clean job site, even closing the gate with all the latches and bungee cords that keep it closed. Since I also have a six-year-old, I did inspect the area after they left so I could pick up any nails or materials that could hurt but am glad to say that none were found. To summarize, I was happy and surprised that the work was completed in such a timely manner; the crew was pleasant; and they cleaned up the job site so well. I learned about them from a neighbor and was glad I followed up on that referral.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. CLEANED UP VERY EVERYTHING AFTER THEIR JOB WAS DONE. MY MOTHER HAS USED THEM AND NOW MY SISTER IN LAW IS USING THEM. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. GREAT JOB!!!!
