Mike and his staff did an excellent job lighting the exterior of home. The whole process started with Mike coming out at night for the initial consultation. The timing was important because he set up lights around the front of our home to show us what he could do for us. It was such an easy decision after that because the demo was so nice to see. The install went smoothly and we even called a week or so before and asked about adding (10) lights to do the back patio and gardens. Mike said no problem, gave me the added cost, installed both front and back on the originally scheduled date and never exceeded his quote! The lights are tasteful and you couldn't tell anyone had been in the yard burring lines. They were even cognizant of how to weave the cables throughout our existing ground cover so as to not kill off sections. Professional! Our neighbors mentioned the very next day how much they liked the lighting display. It made us feel good to help enhance the overall look for the neighborhood while adding to our enjoyment and sense of security at the same time. We'll definitely have them back to further light the back yard as we finish some of the outstanding projects on our list. I would highly recommend Artistic Outdoor Lighting to anyone!

Mike has an artistic eye on how to accent the exterior of the house & did a beautiful job lighting the front, side, walkways, & porch. It's really a major positive to be able to see the evening demo. We weren't really sure as to what we were looking for other than for something that was aesthetically pleasing without being over the top. Mike, the owner, was very easy to work with and answered all of our novice questions. We initially thought about having our electrician do the lights, but we're glad we went with an expert The end result was better than we could have imagined. Install went smoothly too. We will definitely use again if we decide to add more lighting to the backyard.

Mike, the owner of Artistic Outdoor Lighting, arrived to our home at 8:00 p.m on a Friday evening. This gave Mike the ability to view our home at night and provide us opportunity to see his vision of the outdoor lighting design. Mike spent some time getting an idea of what we had in mind; presented a couple of different options; then headed outside to create some magic with his lighting design. Half hour later, Mike had set up a temporary lighting system to give us an idea of what our yard would look like following the insulation of his lighting system. I can't say enough about his work, design and professionalism.

Mike and team did a fantastic job. The "end" product is absolutely stunning. Best bang for the buck home improvement you can make IMO. High quality materials and a professional team that knows what they are doing. Great experience!

Mike provided an extremely informative in-person consult. Shortly after the consult I approved a very fair and competitive quotation and then scheduled the installation. As part of the process Mike and team removed the old lights and wiring from our legacy system. He then installed a new transformer, improved wiring and a set of LED lights in the front and back of our home. The lights were a great addition to our home and add a nice additional sense of security. Mike was very professional and I would happily recommend Artistic Outdoor Lighting to a friend or colleague.

Very well. Mike was professional, thorough and articulate as he explained his business & process. He came shortly after 8 to further discuss what we wanted. He placed lights around our backyard. As we stepped outside when he was finished, he flipped a switch and we were amazed how he transformed the backyard. Told the gentleman that called that we had a block party that week and that we'd love to have our lights back on if possible. He had someone out 48 hours later and the lights back on. The new transformer was expensive but the thing is housed in stainless steel and, I hope, will last for years to come. I really appreciate their prompt service and willingness to step in for a lighting project they didn't initially place.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. His first visit was in the evening and set up an actual lighting display to replicate what he was proposing, and it clinched the sale. If your current home doesn't have a comprehensive lighting plan (ours was newly purchased and did not), actually seeing it lit up just makes you want it done right away. However, some personal circumstances changed while we were waiting the few days for the proposal, and as such we were not able to complete the job at once. Rather than being bitter or put off, Mike was a complete gem and just said "let me know when you're ready". Sure enough, 3 months later we were ready and he jumped on the project and got it done within a few weeks. The installation itself could not have been a more pleasurable experience. His crew showed up exactly at the time Mike had indicated, and they were done in less than a day, and the end product is impeccable. I can't recommend anyone more highly than Mike and Artistic Lighting. They're professional, do what they say they're going to, and do it in a timely manner. What more can you ask?

Mike met us at our house, was totally upfront with the pricing, his service, how he operates and then walked the yard giving us great suggestions. He was very busy but was able to make it out to our house within a couple of weeks and his crew of two guys did an incredible job. Not only did they dig and hide all wires, they were great guys who made suggestions and were patient and dilliegent. Our favorite idea of his, was when he recommnded putting a light at the top of a tree with a switch at the tree that shines down on our trampline. Kids love that! Anyway, after the install, I realized there was a mis-communication about another light on a tree. I felt bad calling Mike and having him come all the way back out to Highland park, but a couple of days later, his guys came back out and added the light. We lit out front and back yard as well as had lights installed on pergola and patio. All in all, I could not be more happy with the service and end result. If you are looking for lighting, we I highly recommend Mike and his crew.

Mike came in two weeks after we met and did exactly what he committed to doing which was replace my walkway lights, replace my two timers with more efficient ones, add some additional lighting to my front and backyard, repositions existing lighting so it looked better at night. All in all, it was a great experience and I highly recommend Mike.
