I hired Mike to refinish 1000 square feet of continuous wood flooring in my living room, bedrooms a bathroom and closets. I needed to blend in old oak flooring with newly installed oak flooring that had been woven in with the old. I also had him and his highly skilled team replace boards and fix gaps in the floors and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. The new and the 60 year old floor boards blend in perfectly, so it looks as though they were installed last week. I haven't noticed a single spot that was missed in the whole house and it looks flawless. I used Homadvisor to find a Pro and Mike was at my house that same day with a quote. He gave me a good price so I decided to hire him. Five days later, the job was done. The job itself took three days, which included replacing damaged oak boards, fixing large gaps, sanding, staining and putting a few finishes on. I also hired Mike to help me design and install a kitchen next month. I am very pleased with how the floors turned out and I would highly recommend Mike for your next project or fixes.

We hired Mike to do a number of small jobs which included installing a bathroom fan and a kitchen ceramic backsplash. We are pleased with the work. He was willing to work around our schedule. Excellent communication and customer service.

We recently hired Mike to refinish our kitchen floor. He provided excellent customer service and we were very pleased with the finished project. The day I called Mike for a quote, he came out and gave us one. He explained the job to us and also broke the quote down into materials and labor. His price was in the mid range of other quotes we received, and given the quality of the materials he used, we felt the price was a good value. It was a two day job. Mike was at our house both days, checking up on the job and making sure that we were satisfied. Ebel and his crew did the work. They were efficient and very neat. Cabinets and door openings were covered in plastic and they cleaned everything up at the end of each day. They were also very courteous and considerate while in our home. The day after the floors were finished, Mike called to see if we were satisfied. There was one small spot that had not received a final coat. Mike and the crew came out that day to fix it. We were very satisfied with both the customer service and the quality of services provided. I would definitely recommend Mike for your next floor refinishing project. We plan to use him for a bathroom remodelling job in the near future.

I had the hardwood floors in my living, dining, office and family rooms done this past week. Mike's customer service was incredible -- very responsive. The team that completed the work were professional and they took great care to seal off areas to protect from any excess dust. Ebel and Mike worked with us to select the perfect stain color -- one that matched other areas of our home and they even helped us move some of the heavier items both before and after the work was done. Very happy and would definitely use them again. Mike is very knowledgeable about other home repairs as well and he will be the first one I call when I need something in the future.

I've used Mike services for several projects - not only does he make time even on weekends but his work is excellent. He is affordable,too. the best in the Chicago area that I have found.

Within a couple days and completely on my time schedule he came out and installed the curtain rods and curtains in my dining room for a very reasonable fee. Mike is a skilled, personable handyman who fixed the facia that blow off the side of my house. Larger siding and roofing companies wouldn't give me the time of day because the job was too small. I am very pleased with his work and attention to detail. He's already coming back for another job and we hope to use him for a bath remodel and floor refinishing.

Mike ran electric and installed a new exterior light on my house. The work also involved carpentry on the outside of the house. He also installed several vinyl exterior shutters. He did a great job, and I will continue to use him on similar projects.

Mike replaced 5 under cabinet lights and two existing ceiling fans. The under cabinet lighting work was performed on the day he first arrived and gave me an estimate. His pricing is very reasonable with no hidden charges or estimate fee. He got right on the project and finished the lights the first day. He returned the following day and installed the 2 replacement fans. There were a couple complications and a trip to Home Depot for some supplies, but he got the fans in a few hours. I highly recommend him.I will be using him for future projects here.

Mike did four jobs for me: replaced a back door, installed a dog door in the replacement door, leveled up the outside steps to make it easier for the dog, and put in a new ceiling fan and light.
