Allied Door

They showed up, evaluated the problems with the existing door, recommended what to fix and what to upgrade. We made choices about what work to do and what not to do. They did the work quickly and efficiently.

The door of our 1920s garage was broken and needed replacing. Allied had the exact product we needed, and was confident that it would fit and could be installed without any problems. They installed the new door in less than 2 hours, and it works wonderfully. The style fits in with the look of the original structure.

Very well. They were over within 2 hours to repair. Told us we didn't need a new door b/c it was structurally fine (that made my husband happy but I really wanted a new one!)

The service call was fine and was completed in less than an hour. The service technician was very polite and took time to explain everything.

They arrived and installed new weatherstripping, moved the siding trim closer to the door to close the gap, and caulked all of the gaps in the wood trim.

I called Allied on 6/5/09 and Mike sent Will out the same day. Will was easygoing and able to explain and answer all questions. He took his time showing me how to properly operate the opener in manual and automatic modes. With a little ingenuity, he was even able to correct a small problem with the door.

Showed up on time, same day. Replaced the springs, adjusted per my instructions. Cleaned up when he was finished.

They came as scheduled. They were on time. They got the whole job done and they did it all very quickly, it only took about a half hour to get done with.

He came right on time. He was very friendly to me. He had all the tools in his truck so he didn't have to leave and come back. He even gave me a ten dollar discount because I told him I found him on Angie's List.

I thought that they were quick to respond when our old opener quit working. I am glad he talked me into replacing the door as well as the opener, it just looks so much better now. I thought the price was reasonable.

Excellent repair experience. The truck arrived within the promised time period. The repair guy knew what he was doing and wasted no time. In addition to just reseating the wheels he made adjustments to hinges, etc., to prevent the problem from happening again. The door operates better after the repair than it did before. The rubber seal at the bottom no longer has any gaps with the garage floor. I would use this company again. They also honored a 10% discount coupon in the yellow pages.

They came when promised. The work was done neatly and on time. Everything was smooth.

They're an excellent company. I will hire them the next time I need service on my garage doors. The guy was in and out in less than 30 minutes. In that time, he replaced every roller and adjusted the cable, which had gotten tangled. He lubed the chains and tested the door several times, then cleaned up immediately when finished.

THE SERVICE MAN CAME RIGHT ON TIME. HE CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. I HAVE NO IDEA IF THE PRICE WAS FAIR OR NOT. THE DOOR WOULDN'T OPEN. NOW IT DOES.

JOE CAME ON A THURSDAY EVENING AND GAVE ME A QUOTE ON A NEW GARAGE DOOR. MY NEW DOOR WAS INSTALLED ON A MONDAY AND THEY TOOK AWAY THE OLD DOOR. VERY NICE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH.

WE THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB. WE HAD A BIT OF A PROBLEM ALMOST RIGHT AWAY WITH THE LASER SENSOR. I CALLED AND THEY SENT A PERSON OUT WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS TO SHOW US HOW TO ADJUST THE CLIPS THAT HOLD THE SENSOR IN PLACE. IT WAS AN EASY FIX AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE ANY EXTRA FOR THE VISIT. APPARENTLY THESE SENSORS ARE SENSITIVE TO VIBRATIONS AND SOMETIMES CAN GET OFF KILTER. I DONT KNOW WHY THE INITIAL INSTALLERS DIDNT WARN US ABOUT THIS AND SHOW US HOW TO FIX IT. THAT SAID, THEY WERE NICE ABOUT COMING OUT AND FIXING THE PROBLEM QUICKLY. WEVE HAD NO PROBLEMS SINCE THEN. THEY DID HAVE TO RESCHEDULE BOTH THE INITIAL AND FOLLOW UP VISIT BECAUSE OF A DELAY ON THEIR END, BUT THEY DID CALL BOTH TIMES AND APOLOGIZED. RESCHEDULING WAS FOR THE NEXT DAY IN BOTH CASES.

CALLED ON SATURDAY AND WAS TOLD, IF NOT EMERGENCY WOULD BE CHEAPER TO COME OUT FIRST THING MONDAY MORNING. WAS NOT AN EMERGENCY, CAME OUT AND REPLACED GEARS AND DOOR ROLLERS. ALSO, INSTALLED MANUAL LOCK WHEN ELECTRICITY GOES OUT. SUPER FAST. WILL USE AGAIN.

BOB WAS EFFICIENT, AND DID A GOOD JOB.

INSTALLED REPLACEMENT GARAGE DOOR WITHIN ONE WEEK OF CALLING. INSTALLER WAS ON TIME AND FINISHED IN ABOUT AN HOUR. OLD GARAGE DOOR WAS TAKEN AWAY AND GARAGE AREA WAS CLEAN.

MY GARAGE DOOR SPRINGS BROKE ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON, AND I COULD NOT OPEN THE DOOR TO GET MY CAR OUT. I CALLED ALLIED AND THE TECHNICIAN CALLED BACK WITHIN FIVE MINUTES. HE CAME OUT THE VERY NEXT MORNING AND DID THE WORK. (I WASNT HOME AT THE TIME, SO I CANT COMMENT ON PROFESSIONALISM). THE PRICE WAS ABOUT 3 TIMES HIGHER THAN SEARS HOME SERVICE, BUT, SEARS COULDNT COME OUT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING WEEK, SO I PAID FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE. ALLIED WAS ABOUT $30 CHEAPER THAN ANOTHER EMERGENCY GARAGE DOOR SERVICE.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WEVE USED THE COMPANY. BOTH TIMES THE RESPONSIVENESS AND WORK HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT.

THE SCHEDULED TIME WAS 12-4. THEY SHOWED UP AT 12. THE WORKER WAS POLITE AND DID A GOOD JOB. HE ALSO SAID HIS BOSS WOULD CALL IN A FEW DAYS TO CHECK UP. ALSO GAVE US RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW TO AVOID THE PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE.

IT IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY DOOR, MUCH BETTER THAN THE ONE I HAD BEFORE. THEY WERE VERY WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE MY SCHEDULE. I DIDN'T FIND ANYTHING THAT I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. THE WORKMAN CALLED AHEAD, ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND HE COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER.

FOUND ALLIED IN YELLOW PAGES. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE, SYMPATHETIC, POLITE. CAME OUT WITHIN TIME ESTIMATED. PLEASANT WORKERS WHO FINISHED PROMPTLY. PRICE VERY REASONABLE FOR THIS SERVICE ON EMERGENCY BASIS LATE AT NIGHT.

ALLIED SENT SOMEONE OUT THE DAY I CALLED AND EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST REP THOUGHT HE HAD THE PROBLEM FIXED MINUTES AFTER HE LEFT IT WAS NON-FUNCTIONING AGAIN. I CALLED IN AND THEY HAD ANOTHER REP AT MY HOME WITHIN 1/2 HOUR WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE REPAIR. THEIR PROMPT ATTENTION TO THE MATTER NEGATED THE FACT THAT I HAD TO HAVE TWO REPS COME OUT.
