Jeff and Max did an amazing job in our home, and I would highly recommend them. We trusted them enough to given them keys so they could work whenever they had the time. We provided most of the materials, except for specific items they needed. We initially hired them to renovate 2 bathrooms, but when we realized how knowledgeable Jeff was, we had him work on other projects as well. When you hire this team, you get it all. They can do the plumbing, tile work, electrical work, etc and you don't need to hire more contractors. That's a HUGE bonus! They were very respectful of our home, and protected our wood floors and carpet with high quality materials for the entire time they were working on the house. They are VERY clean and always made sure they vacuumed and cleaned the area before they left for the day. Plus, we didn't need to get a dumpster like other contractors asked for. They were able to get the job done well without constant phone calls asking questions. Only when really necessary did Jeff text me, which was my preferred form of communication. Other than that, they quietly did their work without fuss. They know what they're doing, and do it well. They completed the projects when promised and their prices were really great too. Excellent work!!!

Jeff Girard and his son, Max were fantastic to work with. We had a good idea of how we wanted it to look. We purchased the fixtures (with input from QMR), they supplied the drywall, wiring, some plumbing and other behind-the-walls items. They were flexible in allowing a separate contractor come in to fix foundation cracks. We were concerned about COVID and they were cautious in our interactions and always wore masks. They were pleasant, patient and highly skilled. The result is a beautiful new bathroom.

Jeff and Max turned our tub shower combo into a beautiful walk in shower. They removed the cast iron tub, created a new tiled shower pan and walls and added glass shower doors. They showed up on time and cleaned up the area and down the stairs every day. They picked up our shower doors and toilet from local home improvement center for us as we don’t have a vehicle large enough. They also fixed my entrance doors to the bathroom that have never closed properly. Very pleasant to work with.

Jeff and his son were awesome to work with and did a beautiful job on our bathroom (total remodel). Jeff was very responsive before our project began, answered numerous emails/questions, and offered suggestions for materials/brands. The project went smoothly, and they made sure to keep the place very clean - you wouldn't even know construction was going on in our house! Great work for a very reasonable price. I am already recommending to family members who need work done, and we will definitely be using them for future projects.

Jeff and Max were the best. Jeff responded immediately to my estimate request and came out within a day. His estimate was very reasonable, and the final bill was in line with that estimate. The work was fantastic, without issue, as promised. The price was very reasonable - I had multiple quotes, and Jeff's was by far the best.

Our kitchen walls, ceiling, cabinets, counters, over range microwave, and built in dishwasher needed to be replaced/installed. We chose Jeff because he is patient and is not trying to push sales, plus he came with a lot of great reviews. We really enjoyed working with him. He was honest and great with communication. He went the extra mile when he could and didn't let the stress of bad weather and unforeseeable obstacles change his professionalism. We will be using his company for future projects and we have already referred him to family members and friends.

Both bathrooms turned out great. They were very patient in answering our questions and working with us. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Very happy with the results. Highly recommended.

Jeff and his son, Matt, did an outstanding job updating my bathroom. Their workmanship was of the highest quality and, if you believe that details are important, then be advised that not one was overlooked or left undone. Jeff also alerted me to several problems with the merchandise I ordered, rather than just trying to make due. He sincerely puts the interests of his customer ahead of his own. When my budget allows, I plan on rehiring Jeff and Matt for my next project.

This is our second remodeling project with Jeff and Max, and again, the project was performed with outstanding craftmanship. I cannot say enough about the superb quality of services Jeff and Max provide. And they sincerely care about the customer's needs.

Communication was very poor from the start. I was hesitant about writing a review, but felt it needed to be shared. I had to reach out numerous times to get a response about a bathroom remodel, and when the owner finally showed up, he seemed very disinterested in the project. After he left, I never received an estimate. I was told it would be a few weeks with the Holiday, and never heard back. It's a shame that you practically have to beg a contractor to provide an estimate when you're trying to give them business.

We trust Jeff with our major projects. Last year he remodeled our two bathrooms. This went so well that we decided to go ahead and update our kitchen. Jeff gave us ideas about the remodel and also recommended an excellent cabinet company. The project was seamless. All of the work was completed within a month and the results are stunning. We're looking around the house for another project Jeff can help with. I'm convinced that there's nothing he can't do.

I was hesitant to begin such a big project because I worried especially about related plumbing and electrical issues. However, Jeff does it all, does it very well, and apparently does it better than our builder did. We no longer get scalded when someone flushes while we're showering, for example. Aesthetically, this was definitely an "Oooh and Aaah" result., admired by all who see it. My husband's family are all artists and tough customers to please, but Jeff's work impressed even them. On a personal note, my granddaughter, my dog, my husband, and I enjoyed having Jeff in our house. He is always professional and reliable but very personable as well.

Father and son team that did everything we asked of them. They were more than happy to make any changes that we wanted mid job. Were very professional with itemized estimates and invoicing. We already have plans to use them again in the near future.

Very pleased with the work we had done. Jeff is the owner and does all of the work himself, along with his son. As with any project, it all seemed pretty straightforward to start. It's a standard 5 x 8 bathroom so it did not seem to be a large undertaking. Of course though, nothing goes according to plan. Originally we were going to keep the existing tub and just do a tile surround. During demolition we found that the tub was starting to rust so we decided to remove it and do a full tile shower instead. Jeff was very fair in quoting the additional amount of time it would take. Then we had a delay because of a door that was ordered backwards by the supplier and the vanity people taking longer than expected to cut and install the vanity. Through all of this Jeff was easy to communicate with and scheduling was never a problem. We added on the painting of the stairwell and the garage service door and Jeff obliged without any hesitation. As a last surprise we had a tower cabinet that was ordered to sit on the vanity and extend up to the ceiling. Unfortunately I made a mistake on the measurement and ordered it too tall. To reorder another unit would have been a $575 mistake. Thankfully Jeff was able to modify the existing unit by cutting off one of the drawers and custom making a top molding piece that would finish off the gap that was left at the ceiling. Looking at it now you would never be able to tell it was even modified. He did not charge extra for this time. Again we were very thankful for this. We were under construction for about 6 weeks and through it all, his work space was always kept very neat and clean. Nothing was tracked through the house because he cleaned up after every time he worked. Really very pleased with how it all turned out and we will definitely do more work with him in the future. We've already had him look at the kitchen modifications we would like to do next year.

Jeff exceeded our expectations! He is very professional and easy to work with. The job went smoothly and he stayed on schedule throughout the project. His tile work is beautiful, and we can't wait to have him back for another project. We highly recommend Jeff!

This is the third large project Jeff has done for us. This time the majority of the project was painting all the walls and ceilings in our house. As usual, the project went very smoothly, stayed on schedule and finished on time. Jeff does an amazing job and is very easy to work with. We will be moving out of the area soon and will sincerely miss having Jeff available for projects in our next home.

Jeff did an excellent job on the remodeling of our two bathrooms. He is very detailed oriented and his tile work is unbeatable. He was very accommodating and helpful when changes were made. He always made sure of keeping his workplace clean so that our bedrooms were not affected by the work in the bathrooms. We couldn't be happier with the job Jeff did. We plan on using Jeff again for other remodeling jobs.

Jeff did come and look at our hall and master bath to estimate the cost in remodeling. He was to get back with me by the beginning of the following week with an estimate. The following week I received an email stating that I should have the estimate "hopefully by the end of the week." NO ESTMATE / NO CALLS/ NO EMAILS

This is our second project with Jeff and this one was larger and more detailed. Once again, Jeff was organized and methodical in his approach. Everything was done beautifully and he suggested several things that made the project more difficult for him but ended up with a much better result in the end. As with the first project, the drywall and tile turned out perfect. He also did an amazing job painting. Jeff is very patient even when we kept adding items to the 'to do' list. One thing we really appreciated is that sometimes he could anticipate that we were going to potentially want to add things as the job progressed. Rather than 'wait and see', he would bring up the issues so they could be addressed during the initial estimate or primary stages of the work. Jeff contains cost very well and his work really is impeccable. He is a pleasure to work with and has a ton of experience. I know his schedule gets very busy, but it is worth the wait.

It went great! Jeff's estimates were detailed and the projects were completed on budget. All of the work performed was excellent As another List Member noted, Jeff keeps his work area very neat so there was little disruption or clean up while the work was being performed. The bathroom looks absolutely beautiful. We requested sort of a quirky remodel of our closet and Jeff not only met our specifications but improved on our ideas. The drywall around our skylights had been very deteriorated due to leaks that had occurred over several years. Jeff's repairs look really good and erased all evidence that there had ever been a problem. We highly recommend QMR Remodeling, and would not hesitate to work with Jeff again.

Jeff is extremely professional and polite. He returns calls quickly. He gave me a great price to put up a new kitchen tile backsplash and take the old one down. He didn't have a problem with me supplying my own tile and grout. He has to be one of the neatest contractors I've ever worked with. He cleaned up his mess as he went along and took everything with him. My cleanup when he was finished was minimal. I would definitely use him again.
