If there was an A plus rating on Angies List, I'd give it to Ray and Chris. Pleasant and professional, Ray was very prompt in returning calls, answering questions and adjusting our quote to suit our needs. Once contracted, Ray and his assistant Chris arrived to my home on time and ready for the day. Very conscientious about their work, very tidy, even wanted to turn down his music when i told him i was going to sleep (I work midnight shift). Best of all, they did an EXCELLENT job. High quality work ! You'd never know we had the repairs done. I highly recommend Ray and Chris and will most definitely be calling them again.

I had to pay $104 to Angie's List and $125 to him. He was very good. He was very neat and he completed the work in a timely manner. His paint job was excellent. My family even commented how nice of a job it was. He cleaned up. It was a very clean job. He was very prompt. All around, it was excellent.

I lucked out and they were rained out for outside jobs they had going, so they could do the painting the same day as the bid. Very nice to deal with, very helpful too. I am disabled, and they cleared some of the room I wasn't able to get to. The paint jobs looks great and I would use them again!

Ray was great from the beginning. He called and emailed - very thorough in his communication skills. Would definitely use him again. He did a job with the dry walling, taping and sanding.

Ray of Classic Design has done many projects over the years for me, painting inside and painting outside. I had approached Ray to see if he would like to tackle a idea I had came up with. Which would mean he would have to knock a door opening from the upstairs to the downstairs. Adding walls to the 2 downstairs apartments that the walls were removed many years ago to make big apartment. I was looking at the opening of where the walls were years ago and seen the Arches that were put in and I really like the Arches. So I called Ray back to look at the walls and stated I would like an Arch at the new door opening. Ray just looked at me and stated whatever you want. Quote was given and I thought the price was very reasonable and the work was planned and I gave Ray a possible start date and we both agreed. When the date was close Ray called to see if the date was still good and I had a family problem and had to put it off a week or so but that was no problem for him. The time that Ray stated he would be there, we was and his co-workers were also there on time. He knocked out the wall from upstairs to downstairs and wood framed the Arch, which turned out beautiful and he even when he painted rough up the paint to match the other walls downstairs. Then they went to putting the walls back that had been removed years ago, even put in a sound barrier piece to keep the noise down. They put sound barrier & drywall up, tape and painted. Looks amazing. What I really like about doing business with Classic Design is, they tell me every step of what they are doing and why they are doing it, they clean up everyday after a days work. It is enjoyable work with Ray and the workers of Classic Design because they are very nice and professional at all times, over the years I have had the unpleasantness to work with some contractors that no matter what the homeowner wants they do what they want. Perfect. From his initial response to our inquiry to scheduling, showing up timely and completing the job in an extremely professional manner. We'll be rehiring again soon for interior work. We highly recommend this professional.

Ray painted a bedroom for us. I called him on Thursday. He returned my call Thursday evening and came out Friday morning. It worked out for both of us and he actually painted the room the same day. He was professional and very neat. He completed the room but needed to come back again due to a slight miscalculation on my part (of a part of the wall that needed to be repaired and painted). He called me and scheduled a time to come back and was here when he told me he would be. He is really nice and did a great job for us. I would highly recommend his work. He is a "jack of all trades".
