Fantastic finished products, very professional effort, attention to detail was great. The only challenge was finding some concrete on the grass afterward. Bob offered suggestions when asked that were real improvements to what existed before. The new patio is great and seems to blend nicely with the rest of the yard and landscaping. The effort to correct a challenge where the faucet is located on the front porch was appreciated, and the final result is far better than I expected. Bob went the extra mile on this project. He worked with other contractors on site (painters or window installers). He showed up to cover the concrete when the weather was changing. He came by to check on the work and returned to re-install the railings. They also repaired areas in the yard where they dug to pour concrete and even put out grass seed. He also gave me clear instructions in terms of when to drive or walk on the concrete. I was reluctant to do any concrete projects because all I knew was that it would cost me a lot. I probably saved money in the long run because three of the projects were repairs that prevent problems and correct problems. Overall, the project went quickly and with no problems. I'd hire them again.

They did a great job overall. First off, they came out and gave a detailed estimate the day after my initial phone call. The actual work was set up to begin in less than a week after we decided to go with this company. The difference between this company and others we received estimates from was in the details. Instead of just a small step from the stoop to the sidewalk, they suggested a step that surrounded the entire stoop. This adds a measure of safety and improved appearance. Also, they rounded out the corners of the replaced sidewalk portions giving a better feel of flow. The old concrete was removed the first day. The new concrete was poured the next day. On the third and final day cleanup was completed. The work looks great. We get compliments on the improved look of the front of our house. We love it.

Response to quote request was quick. Start date was pushed back two weeks due to weather, but no communication from the contractor during that time. Bushes in the front were not protected from the demolition; nothing died, but a few bushes were mangled a bit. Framing was not as agreed to. Framing had to be re-done. Quality of the finished job was C+. Many cigarette butts in the lawn and mulch after the job was complete.

I have used this company many times in the past and they have ALWAYS been very good. This time however was different. The finish on the stairs is ruff. There was cement splattered all over the house. The clean up job was under par. Sealant was sprayed all over the doors and house. Cement water from the clean up was dumped at various areas around the yard and the grass has died. The new sod we laid will not take in areas due to a chemical that was poured onto the ground. Not the experience that I have been used to from this company. I kept using Bob's company because they cared. This time, they did not seem to care.

Jim Voightmann was prompt in responding to a request for a bid on the work, coming within a day or two after being called. He gave me a good comfort level when he talked about the nature of the problem to be remedied and the manner to do it. The work was later done when he said it would be done, and it was done in a most satisfactory manner. No surprises. A timely, competent job for the price quoted.

This company did not return my phone call.

Quick and competitive estimate. Thorough clean-up after very messy break-up and removal of the existing concrete. Careful not to damage plantings. Nice work on new installation, including smooth radius on 90-degree turn in the walk. Put extra effort in insulating the fresh concrete to protect against unexpected late-Spring freezing temperatures. When forms were removed, once again a thorough clean-up. Pleasant crew, very easy to work with.
