Loved it! Wayne was awesome. Great follow up and very professional, and they were able to start my job quickly which wss great because we just moved into our home and really wanted to freshen it up. Wayne does great work, he is really detailed and the paint job was just top notch. And he's really easy to work with, and very nice. This is the best experience I've ever had using a painter and we will definitely use Respect again. Great job - thank you!

I had already had one estimate before Wayne showed up at my door, and I was immediately impressed by Wayne's professional and very friendly demeanor. When I showed him my bathroom, he spent a fair amount of time thinking about what would be the best way to proceed. Compared to the first person who came to give me an estimate, Wayne was by far more thoughtful. Wayne then recommended that a 3/8" drywall skin could be placed over the old plaster. On the scheduled date for the appointment, Wayne arrived to let me know that his workmen were detained by traffic. When the workmen arrived (Matt and his father), Wayne showed them what needed to be accomplished, and they went right to work. They spent about a day and a half working on the project, and they worked very efficiently. They also cleaned up very meticulously. My entire experience with Wayne and Respect Painting was completely positive. Wayne and both of the workmen were extremely friendly and conscientious. Perhaps what I appreciated most of all was how Wayne communicated with me regarding the project. If I sent him an e-mail, his response was always very prompt. In short, I would highly recommend Respect Painting, and I will definitely be calling Wayne if I have any additional remodeling needs.

We had our roof replaced last fall and prior to that we had water damage on the ceilings in our bathroom and kitchen. We were also in the process of remodeling the bathroom so I attempted to patch the water damage with no success. I called another painter/drywall person who gave me an estimate over the phone but because of the size of the project did not seem too interested in the job. I contacted Wayne from Respect Painting and was extremely happy with his professionalism. Wayne came to the house to evaluate the work and provided a quote for the drywall repair but also for the painting of the kitchen ceiling and bathroom seilings and walls. The quote was so good and we had waited so long for me to get to it, that we contracted him to do the whole job. Wayne was sick for the first appointment but called well in advance to let us know. He came promptly at the second scheduled appointment and he and his crew did a great job. The ceiling and walls look as good as new and the paint in the kitchen and bathroom look perfect. Wayne also patched some of the irregularities in the bathroom wall. He covered everything so that we did not have a mess and cleaned up thoroughly after he was done. He was able to get the project complete in a short time. I will recommend Wayne every chance I can and will call him for future painting needs. This was a great find on Angie's List.

I contacted Wayne at Respect and through phone calls and emails he coordinated several subs including his framing guy and dry wall guy to replace my bathroom ceiling. Once they were done, Wayne repainted the entire bathroom matching the original color. Throughout the process he was a true professional as were his subs. I would not hesitate to use his services again and have recommended Respect to several friends with painting projects.

He was phenominal painting and drywaller. They were very time efficient. They were in and out in less than two days. Their work was supberb. They were clean, neat, and cleaned up after themselves. They went above and beyond. They repaired spots in my garage for me. They were very puntcual and professional. I would highly recommend them.

Our daughter's bedroom has 2 exterior walls that we had additional insulation added. The method that was used was a 2" hole was drilled and insulation blown in. The holes needed to be patched and the walls repainted (as well as the dings and nail holes that are 'standard' with any room). We also removed the wire shelving from the closet which left a ton of 1cm holes. Respect Painting was prompt at returning my phone call to set up an estimate as well as showing up to look what needed to be done. It was estimated as a one day job and the price was very reasonable. They showed up at the agreed 7:30 and the 2 man crew finished around 2:30 in the afternoon. The room looks amazing! Working with Wayne and his crew from Respect Painting was the easy part - putting the room back together to a 7-year old's tastes is the hard part! We'll definitely work with Wayne and his crew on future projects.

Arrived the first dayon time - 7 am. Walked through the house reviewing the work that needed to be done. Began prepping the rooms. Second day carpenter began installing the crown moulding while the otehrs continued prepping walls and painting.. All workers were on task the whole day, very few breaks. It was a lage job and they were able to work with our schedule.

The owner, Wayne was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely professional, prompt, flexible, knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! Wayne was very quick to respond when we called him, went out of his way to make and deliver samples of his faux finishes and gladly worked around our schedule. We are thrilled with the end result and would hire Respect Painting again for sure!

They primed all areas, applied one coat to all of the walls and ceilings. They installed support braces. They did patch and repair work. They painted 3 rooms in the house and made repairs as needed. They came on time and were very easy to work with. When they were done with the garage they even washed the floor. I thought that their work was excellent.

Picture it, Naperville circa 1999 the last time I regretfully state, the interior of my house saw a fresh coat of paint. Exasperated and weary of the ?look? I began my search for a painter with Angie?s List. I booked an assessment/ estimate with Wayne Barkus owner of Respect Painting, Wayne was courteous, respectful and the estimate process assured me I had chosen the most capable painter. On the first day Wayne and the Respect Painting crew were prompt and efficient. My walls were repaired, prepped and painted. The entire job took three days and it was beautiful!!!! The Respect Painting crew is courteous, proficient, clean and professional. Additionally I had new windows that required staining and was extremely happy with the outcome. I have more painting to complete and will definitely hire Respect Painting (which by the way defines this company perfectly) again!!!

The two workers for Respect were on time, friendly, professional and did an excellent job. Scheduling was super easy via telephone and email and the quote was quick and exact, I tend to get anxious whenever some repair or work needs to be done in the house, and Wayne and his people made everything simple, very smooth and stress-free. Not to mention, the ceiling looks great!

They painted my entire main floor and second floor walls as well as an office. Wayne came out and gave me a detailed estimate so there was no question as to what I could expect. The men were punctual, polite, professional and detail oriented. Wayne and his men are truly professionals and passionate about what they do. They are coming back in a week to do my basement. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

The Respect Painting crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. They were polite, professional, and punctual. Wayne, the owner, was very detailed in his proposal and always willing to answer any further questions my husband or I might have. He is extremely knowledgeable on the products he uses and will not hesitate to obtain additional information from product suppliers when necessary. Prior to beginning their job, the crew made sure all my furniture and floors were covered. In fact, they even took down and reinstalled my window treatments. The work done was fantastic!!!! They left my house looking better than when they arrived. It was a pleasure working with Wayne and his crew and I would definitely use them in the future.

Wayne was fantastic. Initially the job we had for him was larger than he typically does, so he honored my Big Deal and had someone else do the drywalling. We liked how easy he was to work with, so we hired him to do the trim work in our bathroom. Wayne was in by 8am and out by noon and couldn't be sweeter. His work was impeccable and the price reasonable. Would hire again, hands down.

Job went smooth from start to finish - had (2) rooms painted with drywall repair. Respect team was very clean, moved all furniture, covered same, covered floors, & left house with no mess.

Although this company did not perform the drywall work, they were quick to respond to my needs. They had a full schedule with painting jobs and my drywall repair was extensive from tenant damage. They referred my job so I could keep up with my schedule and so I would not be delayed. Wayne was so polite and professional and willing to help. I would definitely recommend him.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Very responsive, great price, great work. They were here on time, covered everything, moved the furniture to the center of the room and did an excellent job. I can't believe the difference of having a professional paint!

Fantastic overall experience! Wayne was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry, kept me informed of possible dates for service, and contacted me to remind me of the appointment date. The work he did was exceptional! He made sure to keep all surfaces covered, cleaned up after himself, and did a great job on the repair. I have nothing but the best comments to leave about the job Respect Painting did on my drywall repair. I plan to use them again soon to complete a paint job in the areas where the drywall repair occurred. GREAT company to work with!

Overall, everything went very well! Wayne was always on time and the work looks great! Wayne set up his equipment quickly and cleaned up everything once he was done. I am so happy with his work!

It went very smoothly. We scheduled the appointment over email and he showed up right on time. We are very satisfied with the results.

He did a very good job. He was very polite. He kept his words. Whenever I called him, he immediately returned the calls. I had made calls to lot of other companies, sometimes they returned the phone calls sometimes they didn’t. That way it seemed like he liked to keep his reputation and he wanted to do business. He did the work few times and he spent like two or three hours, he passed over and over again until it became firm. It was a good job. Price was good. I could not get it for that price in the city. The reason he offered that price was, his company was a start up company so he wanted to get business. Now he would not do that work at the same price. Quality was good. He was on time when we fixed the time to do the work. He was very punctual and polite. He answered whatever I asked. He was very flexible. The responsiveness was good. He was punctual. The professionalism was good. I would use his services again in the future.

Wayne and his crew were awesome! They showed up on time, did amazing work and I no longer have to look at half finished walls. Very responsive to calls and emails and were very prompt both days they came to work.

Wayne was a pleasure to work with. I purchased his services from Angie's List Big Deal. He immediately initiated contact by email to schedule a time. He arrived and immediately got to work with the repairs. The water leakage around my windows was because the previous owner of my house had not maintained the exterior brick well; now that the masonry had been fixed, I wanted to address the drywall. Wayne told me exactly what he was doing before pulling out the damaged drywall. He had useful suggestions for how to clean up the damage and how to apply additional insulation myself. The scope of my project ended up being quite large and his schedule was tight because of the number of Big Deal jobs he had to do. So, Wayne suggested that I contact a subcontractor he was using to finish up the job. He even got me a very competitive estimate from the subcontractor. Overall I'm very happy with Wayne's services and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again.

Coordinating the schedule with Wayne went quite well, and he was on time (a little early, in fact) on the date agreed to. He worked efficiently and cleanly at all of the many locations. He provided exactly the service that we needed and was finished on time.
