We thought it was fine until 9 months later my tenants were having problems with the shower. I called the plumber back and they were going to charge us full price to go back and fix an issue they should have fixed. They do not have a 1 year warrant on their work. So I hired a general contractor who went in there and said that there was a part in the shower that was not put on correctly. Also that whomever I used did not even use the waterproof silicone that your suppose to use. I know now to use people that will warrant their work for at least a year.

The staff was professional and arrived on time. They completed the job early. They left the area clean when they were finished. I have used them for all my plumbing needs since 1986.

I have used them close to thirty years. They are reliable, punctual, and professional. They stand by their work. We originally lived in Woodridge and I used to use him in my home there. I never had a problem with him. So as long as they are in business, I know I can rely on them. They are not cheap. They are just average.

On the morning after a blizzard I discovered a basement sewer line backing up. Raw sewerage is a problem. These guys were out in about two hours after I called. In about 10 minutes they figured out where the blockage was. Luckily it was under the basement floor and not the outside line. They cleared the blockage with no problem. Have lived in the house for 35 years, hopefully it it's nothing more than 35 years accumulated sludge. Time will tell. But I couldn't be happier with their responsiveness and knowledge to find the problem area. I would absolutely call these guys again.

2 very friendly and professional workers did an excellent job taking out and disposing our old 50 gallon water heater. They did an excellent job installing the new 50 gallon Bradford White (model MI5036FBN) water heater. I would confidently recommend them.

Everyone we worked with at Jim Dhalmer Plumbing was wonderful. We have owned homes for over 10 years in Glen Ellyn, IL, and have struggled to find honest, courteous, and quality plumbers. The two times we've used Jim Dhalmer, the plumbers, and office staff have been honest and kind. They respond quickly, have competitive quotes, and do not offer lots of work we don't need done or inflate the price because of our zip code. Dave came out when our tub was gushing water after the valve broke off. We had to turn off the water to the house to stop the water from gushing. We are a family of 6 and need water! The office staff understood how quickly we needed our tub fixed, in order to turn our water back on. What I thought would take all day, took only a couple hours to fix completely. As soon as Dave finished with his first job of the day, he came over and fixed the problem in less then a house. This company is WONDERFUL, and more importantly HONEST!!!

We bought our first home about a year ago and Dhamer has been our go to plumbing company. We've had them out numerous times and they are always on time. The guys are professional and they do the job correctly the first time. The last time they came out was t remove a extra gas line in our kitchen. I called that morning and asked when they could come out, the lady that answered the phone said they would be available the next morning. Then like an hour later she called back and said someone was out in the area and they could come right over. I was so surprised!! Go ahead and call them you won't be disappointed.

i woke at 1 am this morning and heard my pump running but it buzzed and no water was being pumped out. Since my basement is prone to flooding i was very concerned since there is no backup (still saving for that). The (now old) pump was less than 3 years old ! Keep in mind, i am a new customer to Jim Dhamer, but they showed up within a few hours of my call! Terry and Zac did their work quickly, but efficiently, explained what happened, replaced the pump and check valve and cleaned up after themselves (that in itself is a rarity!) Jim Dhamer, you have a new customer for as long as i own my home!

Our house is close to 100 years old, so replacing 25' of pipe isn't as straightforward as it sounds. There were some tricky junctions, by-passes, etc. They weren't going to be able to fit it in for a few days, but we told them we needed it ASAP (can't use the shower or washing machine until it was fixed) and they made it happen the same day. The estimate was $400-$500, and they managed to do it in less time for $375. Two very nice guys working the entire time. Very reasonable and uneventful. Perfect. We have another project coming up and will use them again.

I was very pleased with the service performed. At first I was told that there were no appointments available for the rest of the day (I called at 2:30pm on a Friday) but the operator offered to double checked for me. She was able to get a service person out within the hour. It helped that I live very close to their office. The service men came out and cleared the tub drain quickly. They even cleaned my tub of the gunk that I had generated trying to clear the drain on my own. In addition, the work is guaranteed for 30 days. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend this company.

They were very reasonably priced- well below the other estimates that I had. They worked continuously. Everything was cleaned up perfectly and I was impressed by their work and by them. I would recommend them to anyone.

They always get out to my house within a day (usually same day) whenever I need them. Won't use anybody else!!!

It was fantastic! Tom & John were only supposed to do an estimate. Instead they got the needed materials and took care of us immediately so we wouldn't have a bigger issue or be without water even for a night. They even waited until after business hours for the water company to arrive and didn't waste a minute having everything ready. The valve works perfectly, the price was totally reasonable and they were phenomenal to work with.

Called late Sunday and Dhamer was the first company to call back Monday morning. They made it out later that day and had everything back in working order within the hour. We're very pleased with their service and pricing and won't hesitate to use them again.

I used many times for house projects and emergency work. They are very punctual and do a great job. Don't seem to employ enough people though, as lead times can be long. I would definitely use again.

We added a laundry room/pantry to our first floor. They were prompt in providing their estimate and were helpful in obtaining the necessary building permit. Dahmer Plumbing ran water and sewer to the new wall in our new laundry room, including a floor drain, dryer vent, and some venting work required in the attic. They also removed the plumbing from our prior laundry area and removed an unused natural gas line. Finally, they installed an utility sink in the basement. They were easy to work with as far as scheduling their work, which needed to be done in phases to accommodate the other trades and inspections. They always showed up when they said they would. The guys on the job were professional and courteous.

Had a leaky toilet. Fixed the toilet ring. They were prompt with the appointment.

A few years after we remodeled the kitchen I started to suspect that the sink wasn't properly plumbed because of frequent clogs. Recently it got so bad that my DIY efforts no longer worked. The plumber arrived at the scheduled time and completed the job quickly and affordably and I'm happy to have a sink that drains as it should,

Basement sewer was backing up through the floor drain. Sewer line was power rodded until the line opened. The two individuals fro Dhamer Plumbing were quick, courteous and professional. I would certainly recommend.
