Description of Work: A while ago, we were having trouble finding an honest plumber to do various repairs and did not have any luck. Until we tried Dhamer Plumbing. As a whole, they are friendly, honest and upfront with info and pricing. Today we had Chris and Adam fix the faucet in our shower and received the same treatment i described before. We will always call Dhamer should we need plumbing service in the future!

Description of Work: Called to inspect and repair issue with sewer gas smell in upper bathroom. Plumber first took our waste can and filled it with water to pour down shower drain - shouldn't a plumber have his own bucket? Next he decided to clean the traps and asked if we had a toilet brush and bleach - again, shouldn't he have proper tools? Since we didn't have a toilet brush he went out to his truck and returned with a drywall saw and a rag and used that to clean trap - once again, tools? After all that, he still couldn't determine source of smell. We were told they normally would start cutting drywall to search for problem but where that is not an option they could do a peppermint test which they rarely do 1-2 a year. Of course he couldnt do it because he didnt have the oil on his truck. So 15-20 minutes later and a 1 hour min charge later of $155.00 and we have no idea what is causing the sewer smell. Utter waste of time and our money.

Description of Work: Guys came out within 4 hours to fix a clogged bathtub. World class all the way. Moving in a few weeks and this is the only Plumber I will use.

Description of Work: Although this is not exactly standard plumbing services, it speaks to the integrity of the company, Three years ago I had an underground sprinker system installed, but was not told that the City of Naperville requires an annual inspection and certification that my water is not contaminated. The sprinkler company told me it should cost about $90-$95. I called at least 6 companies in the Naperville area and their annual fee was anywhere from $120 to $178. When I reached Jim Dhamer, they said $95. They came, did the inspection and submitted the paperwork to the City. The following year, they contacted me to remind me, and they again performed the service. Same this year. And their price has remained $95. I have not needed standard plumbing services during the last few years, but when I do, Jim Dhamer will get the work because of their honesty, professionalism, and responsiveness.

Description of Work: I have kind of a fancy kitchen faucet, and it was leaking suddenly from about three places. I chose Dhamer Plumbing from Angie's List and they came right out. Of course, parts had to be ordered and we had to reschedule another visit but everything went smoothly and I have a working faucet for Thanksgiving Dinner preparations (yeah!). I had two technicians out on Friday, and the same two guys returned on Tuesday to do the work. Nice, professional and thorough. No complaints.

Description of Work: I had a leaking faucet of a type which I had never repaired myself. When the workman arrived, he immediately discovered that the problem was related to a loose screw that impeded the faucet's operation. It all took less that a minute. When I told him that it was an expensive plumbing lesson, he called the office and they agreed to cut the bill in half.
