They made scheduling easy and they arrived when they said they would. There were two workers. They replaced the whole internal parts on one toilet that wasn't working properly and just replaced the drain plug on the other toilet. They dismantled the drain and removed a bit of hair and cleaned it out and reworked a part of the drain stopper mechanism.

Nice guys, I had them come in and investigate several plumbing issues I had. A couple we decided not to do since the problems were minor and would be too costly to fix for such a small issue. They ended up just replacing the bathroom sink drain pipe, which I had tried to install myself unsuccessfully. They did a great job, did it under an hour, and the cost was about right for two plumbers.

They were prompt. They cleaned up after themselves. I have no complaints, they did a good job.

Two years later the sump pump doesn't work. It is Mother's Day and no one answers at the phone number they gave us. We wanted a 3/4 horse power sump but "John" talked us into a 1/3 to a 1/2 horsepower. He insisted it would work as well as the one we'd wanted. Our basement is flooding. Thanks alot John.

I contacted them and described the problem. They stated that they experienced that problem before and knew how to repair it and that it didn't sound expensive. I felt comfortable especially since they advertise that there is no travel fee and cost is determined from job. They showed up on time and checked out the problem. The one thing that I didn't like immediately was them running up and down the stairs w/no protection on there feet b/c my home has beige carpet. After 2 minutes they immediately said it will be $155 to fix it. I was applaud b/c that was very expensive. He than figured out that it would take a two man crew and said it will be $175 which is their hourly rate. I thought that I would be saving a lot of money b/c there was no travel fee and cost is determined by job, not by the hour but I didn't save anything. The company had deceptive advertising and in the end, I paid an arm and a leg for something that took less than 30 minutes to complete. I was very angry for the massive bill for such a small job. Although the problem was repaired, I felt lured in by the deceptive advertising which makes the company look very reasonable. Take it from me, Family owned doesn't mean anything. No travel fee doesn't mean anything. Cost determined by job may save you nothing. I felt gouged and taken advantage of. I will never use this company again and I will always ask for someones hourly rate before I hire them.

Intially had them come out to see if they could rod out a drain line from our patio to our main sump pump. Line was collapsed. They came back a few weeks later and installed a sump pump in the patio. Matt was very professional and they got the work done in one day. Considering the mess that was made from breaking concrete and digging a hole for the sump pump, you couldn't even tell that all that was there after they left. They cleaned up everything and the pump has been working great.

Came, by appointment, at roughly lunch time one day to estimate the job. I asked for a 12-year warranty water heater that Consumer Reports recommended and they agreed right away. (Other plumbers I called were not happy about that, because it is a special order item that requires some assembly). Made appointment for one week later, when two plumbers came and did the work. They stuck to the estimate. Everything seems quite fine. They even took the old water heater away. They answered some questions I had about the plumbing in my old house. Note that the $1500 includes the sillcock and ancillary plumbing, the water heater job by itself was a bit under $1200.

This was an excellent experience. We had a problem with our sump pump early in the morning and I called three contractors on Angie's List to determine the cost and availability. The price was not the lowest but I felt confident from my conversation on the phone they were competent and would get the pump replaced the same day. The same day was important as it was and would be raining for several days. The associate I spoke with also advised me on a current coupon available in the yellow pages. At 8:15 a.m. we scheduled the service and I was told they would complete the replacement that day and they would call later with a time. At 10:45 they called saying they would be here in 20 minutes. The new pump was at work by noon! The plumber was professional, courteous and clean. They left a manual for the new pump. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. They arrived a little late but had called to tell me they were delayed at a previous job. Once they arrived we discussed what needed to be done and the work was done quickly and professionally. It has been a couple of weeks since the work was completed and no problems have occurred. They also took the time to describe my options for replacing a garbage disposer.

Our sump pump went out overnight and we woke to find our basement partially flooded. We called Dhamer Plumbing at 6:00am, and the plumbers were at our house by 10. The replaced the old pump and gave instructions on its use.

Called around 9:45am and they told me someone would be over between "now and 2pm". They showed up promptly around 11:45am. Friendly and considerate. Got the job done quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as well. The price was the same they quoted me over the phone which was $165 (I had $10 coupon from phone book) which I felt was reasonable. I especially appreciated them looking at an unrelated faucet and unclogging it at no charge.

They had everything they needed in a very nice looking white truck. They took care of everything I needed done. The two men on the job were very neat and clean.

They didn't do much of anything. They changed the flapper which I could have done myself. They were not nice or professional. They sold me a cleaner to put in the toilet but it did not do anything.

One of the toilets in my home would not stop running. I tried jiggling the handle, nothing happened. I tried to flush it and it wouldn't. I called the office number and was able to make an appointment for the very next day. Steve showed up on time. I was told the charge was $155.00 per hour plus parts. He first worked on the garbage disposal. I asked him if there was a reset button on it, he said yes and proceeded to explain to me how it worked. He also told me how much it would cost to replace the unit with one he had and then said mine was a bigger one and quoted me the price on that one also. I chose not to have it replaced. He then checked the toilet and told me he would have to replace some the "guts" in the tank. He did that and tested it several times. He then adjusted the toilet in the master bedroom so that the water wouldn't flow over the valve causing it to run longer than it should. The parts he replaced in the toilet cost $36.00.

Don and Tom arrived within an hour of my call. The repairs were quickly done and my suggestions and questions were fielded with courtesy and professionalism. Everything I had a concern about due to prior flooding was addressed and I was favorably impressed with the quality of the work and knowledge of both men. I will call this company first for any plumbing concerns in the future.

I have used them a couple of times and have always been pleased with their work.

Service was quick and excellent. The phone support was courteous and the rep even pointed me to a coupon online. The plumbers showed up the following morning and were in and out in less than two hours.

After several attempts managed to rod the line with a 2" cutter but not with a 3" cutter. Was not able to conclusively determine the reason of the blockage. An OK job overall.

At first, I thought the tub was going to be a rodding job, but when Dave looked at it, he showed me it was a twist off drain and I could just reach in and take the trapped hair out myself...while other companies would probably have taken advantage of the situation and charged me for a rodding, they did not; they were very honest and courteous. The two toilets I needed to be fixed were done in a matter of 50 minutes and with no mess! Dave was fast, courteous, honest and I would definitely hire this company again and recommend them to anyone I know!

Great experience. They arrived on time and finished the work quickly. They were very neat and made sure to clean up after completed. Would definitely hire again.

Very prompt. Came out the same day as I called. Very clean with work. Also told us the estimate before they did the fix once problem diagnosed. Gave us the option to tear out part of ceiling ourselves to save them time and use a lot of money. We did that and they came back the next day to complete fixing the leaky pipe. However, they would have torn up the ceiling themselves, but this saved us a lot of money not having them spend their time to do so and to clean up the mess.

I have used Jim for other stuff, but this was probably the most recent. He did a fine job and the toilet is running as good as new. He is very fair in his pricing and very reasonable. He is good; he has all the parts he needs right in his truck so that is real good. I believe that it is a family business and they all seem to be very professional.

I found Jim Dhamer on Angie's List and he provided a great service to me. This wasn't the first time that I used this company. I always call him for everything that I need done.
