Called them the morning we discovered our water heater leaking. They gave us a time frame of 10am to noon on the same day we called. They arrived just before noon, and were able to replace the unit in about an hour. Service was very professional and I was surprised how quickly everything went together. Didn't have time to compare prices and they may have been a little high. But the service was excellent and I'm very pleased and would definitely use them again.

Sunday evening my sump pump battery back-up activated. I realized that my main pump was out and my back up pump was on. It rained heavily on Sunday night. Needless to say, I woke up to quite a bit of water in my crawl space Monday morning. I called and left a message at Jim Dhamer Plumbing at 6:45 a.m. They opened at 7:00 a.m. I received a return call at 7:15 a.m. and had two (2) employees at my door by 8:30 a.m with smiles on their faces. They diagnosed the problem quickly (burned out sump pump), told me what needed to be done and gave me a price. The guys performed the work quickly and efficiently. Totally positive experience. I would use Jim Dhamer's Plumbing again and will recommend it to friends.

They are always here in a timely manner. The woman who does the scheduling is really nice. They are professional and they do a good job. They charge a decent rate. They give me a discount for being a repeat customer.

We use them all the time to rod out the lines. They are a little pricey. We keep using them because of their quality. We are comfortable using them. We had used them before and then we tried switching off but we were not happy so we figure we pay up front but it is quality. They have come on the same day for emergencies. We try to set it up a couple of days in advance and they are pretty reliable. The price is the only real negative. They are not available on weekends, which could be a problem.

They show up on time. They are very clean and neat, even taking their shoes off in my home. They are polite and nice and know what they're talking about. They are fairly priced and reliable. I recommend them to everybody!

We were very pleased with both fixes. In the case of the shower drain, they were very quick and efficient, and also walked us through he process what we can do to clean the drain out (so that they don't need to return). In the case of the gas line, we called them to check on a leak fireplace ignition line. They found and fixed a number of bad connections, and also added missing hangers which had caused extra flex on the joints. The additional charge for the unexpected work was extremely reasonable, and done very quickly.

I've used them in the past at my office. They have always been very prompt and professional, so I brought them home. Their prices are very fair. They are good in emergency calls.

I have used them earlier as well and my interaction with them has been good. The last time they came they actually misdiagnosed the problem. Then they came back and had to do more work. I would encourage others to call them. I recommend them.

He did an excellent job. My water heater had failed around the Fourth of July. I called around to several companies and Jim responded back quickly. He seemed quite knowledgeable and his price was right in the ball park. I had an unusual-sized water heater (shorter) and he was able to track it down quickly and install it shortly thereafter.

Noticed Friday night that sump pump in basement went out. Called around 9:00AM Saturday morning. They didn't really have any openings, but because it was supposed to rain that day, they shifted some technicians (or added one) and within an hour Adam was on our door step. He was extremely professional and explained everything we needed to know about what needed to be done. Within an hour he had replaced the pump and valve and everything was humming again. Adam was extremely knowledgeable in the industry and looked at a few jobs we had coming up and gave us some great quotes. I look forward to doing business with Adam and this company in the near future! The company's responsiveness and Adam's skills and customer service are spot on!

Easy to schedule and met my short timeline needs. Were on time and quickly got to work with the video inspection. Explained the various images and transitions in the sewer line and everything went off without a hitch. Would use them again for plumbing needs.

My garbage disposal had quit (original builders model - 10 years old) and I wanted to redo the sink and faucet as well..The plumber recommended I keep the old sink as it was in excellent condition. He was very conscientious in his recommendations and professional in his work. I think that this plumber's rates are a little high, but I have never had a problem with any of their work - they are on time and objective in their advice.

Had them out to give an estimate on re-plumbing a washing machine that was emptying into the backyard on a house we had just bought. They told us we would have to rip out the entire floor of the laundry room, re-plumb everything and that it would take 2-3 days to complete. When we asked about installing an AK pump, they said it wouldn't work.......Needless to say we hired a different company to install said AK pump at a fraction of the price and time which was quoted by Dhamer. Person who came out to give the quote was also rude and tracked dirt through the house.

The plumber arrived within the timeframe provided and had our sink unclogged within 15 minutes. He also discovered our garbage disposal was slightly leaky and tightened it.

This company has normally been quite professional, careful (they wear booties in the house which I so appreciate) and they clean up after themselves and take their trash and mess with them. Calling for an appointment is a breeze and they offer immediate service or your choice of times. There was one small issue - the color of the caulk used by the younger plumber was probably not what we would have chosen but the more experienced plumber caught it right away, talked to me about it to consult as to which color I preferred and remedied the situation immediately. They also fixed a small problem with the bathroom sink pop-up. I also like the fact that we have some of the same plumbers show up from year to year.

Overall, the project was OK. They did arrive on time to the job and the work was performed well, although they were missing a flaring tool to do the job and the guy had to run out to get one. I was then supprised to find out that my original bill of $190 was changed to $330 because it required 1 additional 3/4 shut off to meet code! I was pretty shocked that, one, they did not tell me about this till it was all complete, and two, I was told that a 3/4 shut of valve and less then 1 extra foot off 3/4 copper and 2-3 90's was extremly expensive! I was given the whole story how copper is so expensive these days, etc, etc, etc. Listen, its not gold people! A stick of copper is $15 bucks and a 3/4 shut off is around $8-12 bucks. The plumber then went on to tell my they only use TYPE L and good fittings, etc, etc. On top of this, the plumber had the audacity to tell me he was doing me a favor for not charging me 1hr for having to go back and retrieve the flaring tool that his buddy had taken or stolen from the truck! All in all, I felt like I was shaken down for the extra money and they clearly charged a lot extra for. I was so angry I just gave them a check and told them to leave. They may have got me this time but they lost out on a recent hot water tank installation and my word of mouth recomendations. Maybe if I told them I was from Angies List they would have handled themseleves differently? I guess its sometimes better to be undercover for the greater good of everyone on the site.

They arrive on time, finish on time and don't mind looking at another issue if need be. .

We have used Jim Dhamer for the past 20+ years, so we did not price anyone else, just called them. While they are not always the cheapest plumbers, we have found that they do a quality job the first time, which saves us money in the long run. They arrived on time as scheduled. The plumbers were clean looking and polite. He reported his findings to me before proceeding in each task. The first day, they realized that fixing the primary leak could result in a job they did not have time to complete that day, so we left things as they were and scheduled a return trip. They gave me an estimate for the total of all the jobs. The return trip was made by the same plumbers; on time as scheduled. I was home near their work area the entire time and they got right to work, no chit-chat. Their time estimate was on target. They cleaned up after themselves. The holes they made in the closet drywall behind the bathroom were not very large. I was especially happy that our "housetosis" is now gone.

It went very well. The kitchen faucet went in without a problem but the 2 bathroom sinks are quite old and the plumber had to drill out the holes to make the faucet fit. Re-caulked each sink for a nice finish. Very professional.

Everything has been good. They come out very quickly for service. I like them because they are very responsive, and they fix everything they need to fix. I have not gotten many other estimates, but they do a great job.

They came out and did a really good job. They helped me in getting through my end of the problems in a shared building that I stay in. From their information and after talking to the association plumber, we determined that the bigger problem was in the main line. They tried to do everything that they could and they were willing to talk to the association people which was really good. I have had them come out a couple of times for minor repair jobs. They have put in a disposal for me. Their rates are pretty cheap and I call them whenever I have any plumbing issues. It's a family owned business and they have been in business for a very long time. The price that I paid for the last repair job was less than 200 dollars. They were there for about 3 days and made 3 different trips to get the work done. They were also working out on my hot water heater at the same time. The other plumbers told me that there were some problems with my hot water heater and told me that it needs to be replaced. They told me that it was pulling a lot of energy and a lot of electricity. That's when the plumbers from Dhamer Plumbing and Sewer came out and informed me that there was nothing wrong with my hot water heater. They also told me that they could replace it, but would be a waste of money. That was really impressive, as I didn't know much about hot water heaters. They are good people and are well known in the area. They are top notch and I would use their services in the future as well.
