The two men dug the trench by hand to get to the pipe. Did not lose any bushes. Very pleased with the work and the price.

All the repairs were made over a period of 2-3 weeks. Dhamer plumbing had to coordinate their work around the schedule of the company installing new tile in the bathrooms. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. All the work they did was excellent and they were very neat and professional. I was very happy with their work and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Bob, the main plumber who was present on each of the three necessary visits was very helpful and gave me valuable guidance concerning which toilet would be a good one.

Called early in the expected window of time to say they were on the way. Arrived and recalled the logistics from last year's visit. Courteous, professional, and prompt. Explained what they did and how the sewer line appears to be laid out. Cleaned up afterward and were quickly on the way.

Moved some existing pipes over,estimated 2 hours was completed in 1 hr. 55 minutes. This is phase one of a two phase job. GL

They unclogged a kitchen sink. He also noticed the dishwasher was not connected to the pipe properly so he fixed it

They came out during the day while I was at work and took care of it. I felt very positive. I think they are expensive but there are never any call backs because they are extremely good; I get what I pay for. They are always busy and are always getting calls from people because they recognize that they are good; they get to them when they can. I needed to get a faucet changed in my bathroom years ago because I could not get it out on my own; something was rusted. They came and got it out within 15 minutes but they bill minimum for an hour so when they were done after 15 minutes the guy turned to me and checked if there was any other work to done because there was 45 minutes left; unfortunately there was none.

, The plumber who came was very knowledgeable and showed me how the bathroom faucet is put together so I may be able to fix it myself in the future. This firm installed our sewer backflow valve many years ago and they do a good job maintaining it. The prices are not cheap but they do a good job. One negative about this firm is that they don't have any emergency service, so if something goes wrong in the evening or on Sunday, they do not respond. If using them for things that can be scheduled, they do a good job and are reliable.

I've been using Dhamer Plumbing since 1998 and although they've sent out many different service guys every single one of them has been extremely professional and great to work with. Most recently they came out to install a worn out disposal. The dispatch person was great I called her Wednesday afternoon and she had me scheduled for Thursday morning between 8-12. The next morning Tom calls me at 8 to tell me he was on his way and would be here in 10 minutes and he was. He installed the garbage disposal quickly, explained the do's and don'ts of garbage disposals and showed me how to unjam and reset the device. They're the only plumbing company I use and I always recommend them to my friends - great family owned company!

Jim arrived on time and was very personable. He explained what he needed to do and began work immediately. He found ways to save me a few dollars along the way and I really appreciated that. He agreed to come back if the appliance installation does not go as planned. We discussed other projects and I hope to utilize his services in the future.

Everything went well - technician was on time, worked through the problem quickly, made the repair. He cleaned up the site and was a pleasure to work with. We have used Jim Dhamer Plumbing for at least 15 years and they have proven to be dependable and do great work.

Not well. The tech said he had to open the wall to re-position the shower diverter which he did. However, after using the shower for a few times, it stopped working again. He admitted he had not seen the type of water pre-heater that was not working and only had a suggestion to change the valve in the actual water heater to fix it. This did not fix the problem. so after spending over half a day, I didn't have with problem fixed. Later, I hired a different plumber and found out that 99% of the time, fixing shower diverters should not have to open the walls, as the parts should be replaced from the shower side where the control is placed in the wall. He recommended I get a preplacement part from the manufacturer instead and installed it in much less time/ money. My personal opinion is that Dhamer sent a very junior person and although he consulted the office on his cell phone numerous times for advice, he should have asked for someone with more experience to do this job so it was right the first time!

The scheduling process for a quote was excellent. And, the guys showed up on time and were very courteous and professional in every way. The only reason I chose not to use them was their price - which turned out to be almost 2x higher than the firm we chose for our services. Their hourly rate and the fact they send two people for a simple job caused them to be out of line with the effort required, and of course the cost.

It went great. I called, and they were here within 30 minutes (they were close by, just finishing a job). I was afraid that the sump pump would have to be replaced, but they said the pump was fine; that it was just the battery in the back-up system that needed replacing. They told me the cost, and that it would be cheaper if we did it ourselves (which we have done in the past), so we decided to do it ourselves. The powder room sink had a hole in the drain pipe. They replaced the pipe and stopper with new. The master bathroom sink was draining really slow. They determined that the problem was beyond the trap, and they rodded it out. It drains great now. Both young men were polite, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up after their work; if I hadn't seen them working, I wouldn't have known they were here - they are that neat. I'm really happy with the service, and will definitely call on them again if we have any more problems, and I will tell my friends about them.

I was concerned the sump pump discharge going into the ground was recycling back into the sump pit. Dahmer plumbing originally was scheduled to come and evaluate the situation. After they came out, they adjusted their schedule to do the work that same day. The sump discharge was rerouted to 'daylight' it. This solution has resolved my concern of water recycling back to the pit. While it's a temporary solution, I will have them come back before winter and trench the sump discharge underground away from the house. My check valve sounded like a cannon going off throughout the house. The new one is great! The sprinkler system shutoff valve inside was faulty and the repair solved the problem. They also raised the two sump pumps in the pit and stabilized them so they did not 'move around' in the pit. I would recommend Jim Dahmer Plumbing to anyone who wants excellent service.

Our garbage disposal was leaking. Called Jim Dhamer on a Monday morning they gave me a 3 hour window for that same afternoon. Dave arrived within that window (and called when he was on his way) and was ready and prepared to do the work. He determined we needed a new garbage disposal (which we already suspected) and he had one on the truck ready to go. He also determined that our trap was leaking and had a broken ring (PVC) so he replaced those. Our dishwasher was also routed incorrectly and was emptying into the garbage disposal rather than the other drain so he re-routed that as well. He was very professional and personable and was very nice to my very curious kids. He did a great job, double and triple checked that there were no leaks before he left and cleaned up after himself completely. It was my first plumbing experience and a very positive one. I've already recommended Jim Dhamer Plumbing to a neighbor.

I called the company at 7AM and Dave was there at 8:30 AM. He took the time to tell me what he was doing, but only had 1 type of sump pump. My old one was a top of the line and lasted for over 18 years. He did not remove the old sump pump either, and I can't move it. I would NOT use them again.

I would say the experience went very well. After they installed the new water heater it still wasn't working. They later determined it was because there was a leak in the gas line. I think that installing a new water heater wasn't necessary and they could have verified the leak prior to that.
