Steve came to help us twice on some of the electrical work we needed done at our guest house during a renovation project. He was a great help. Highly recommended!

Excellent, Steve came out twice once to wire the switches and run the wires and install the electric box, then he came back after drywall and painting were done to actually hang the fan. I bought one that was not compatible so he helped me resolve that issue with the manufacturer. Overall, excellent service; my father who is very picky, saw the work and decided he wanted Steve to come do work at his house.

He is honest, dependable and I plan on using him for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Steve came out and worked entirely from the outside since we were getting new siding installed. Upon opening up the outside wall, he discovered an "unorthodox" way of framing the walls that complicated how he would route the conduit. He found an alternative route and rewired the lights with minimal cutting of the wall. He was working for over 6 hours and was very courteous and professional. Will definitely use Steve again.

Fantastic. Steve squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon and between the two of us we figured out what needed to be done - and he was a total pro despite my best efforts to BS him to death. I would gladly recommend EMF to anyone.

Steve had to open up several electrical boxes and found the root of the problem. He explained the problem and was very professional. I will be using Steve for future electrical projects.

Normally I would do simple installations of light fixtures but I ran into problems with 3 different fixtures so I called Steve. He installed a dining room light fan/light, a bathroom fan/light and an attic ceiling light. Then I had a problem getting a new dryer because the electric outlet was non-standard. I called Steve and he was able to come by the next day and install the correct outlet. Steve is very good at communicating what the problem is and how to fix it.

It went okay. He didn't have the part and had to get it, but came back quickly. Steve seems to be a stand up guy. He was honest and did what he had to do. We were planning to have him come back in the future to do other electrical projects in our town home.

He was honest, professional, and not out to just make a buck off of us. The advice he gave us actually put less money in his pocket.

His work product is great, he takes the time to protect work area he is in and also does a thorough clean up afterwards. Recommended.

Steve showed up on schedule and began work. He realized that he had the wrong part and felt it was his fault, so he apologized, said he would immediately go get the new part, and said he would reset the job clock to zero when he started again. He returned quickly and completed the work. I'm delighted!

It went great. Steve asked a lot of questions so we were on the same page. He stayed until he finished the job. He even asked if we were worried about getting drywall dust in the litter boxes! (we weren't worried...) Nice guy, good work.

Steve did an outstanding job. I was impressed with Steve's professionalism from the very beginning based on how he handled a missed email due to an Angie's List email glitch and came to my house on a Sunday to give me a quote. Once we agreed upon the work to be done, Steve showed up on time and was very conscientious of my home and asking questions before coming into my home. He did a great job with getting the electrical boxes installed and did extra work to find the switches I needed for the rooms. He also installed three fans for me. Unfortunately one of the fans was defective, but Steve took the time to try and troubleshoot the issue. Long story short, Steve was great to work with and I plan to use him in the future for my electrical needs. Thanks Steve for a job well done.

Steve helped troubleshoot the problems: why switches were not working, which related in part to the odd wiring (part of original construction). His initial diagnoses were correct, and the work was done quickly. Steve also made a slight wiring adjustment on a third switch (at no additional cost). I would highly recommend!

Steve was able to come the day after I called him;; he was on time and very courteous. He changed his boots that were wet from snow to dry shoes before walking on the hardwood floors. He explained what he was doing as he searched for the cause of the non-working outlet. He could have spent a lot of time tearing down drywall looking for connected outlets and wires but he found the cause of the problem relatively quickly. He found a wire that was partially burned and could have caused a fire at some point. He replaced the wire and the outlet was fixed. He also diagnosed the cause of the basement canned lights not working quickly as well. He starts with the basics and because he knows his business he can do this and find the problem. He can be trusted to take the most efficient route to troubleshooting and repairing issues. I will definitely call him for any electrical needs I have.
