Pros Timely Finished the job quickly Were relatively communicative Cons SLOPPY! They were too fast. This job was done in October 2017 and I am STILL finding paint splashes, colors over colors and general mistakes, at least twice a week, I find something new. They gave me an estimate but at the end it was over $2,000 more! What could I do when they were in the middle of the job and kept jacking up the price. They had me and they knew it. I have taken pics and could upload dozens of their mistakes, including a big drip on a third story window that I can never reach.

They did a great job and kept me informed at every step. The house looks great!

There was a minor issue with the color of the trim, but that was addresses quickly and completely to my satisfaction. I was more than pleased with the paint work itself. The finished house looks great. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Excellent overall experience. After agreeing to their contract, they had a crew member out within 2 days - power washing on a Saturday. Full crew was here the following Monday and work done on a fairly large home was completed in 2 days. Work done was very neat and high quality. I had 2 small areas of metal flashing which, because it was metal, the color didn't appear to match the siding - they sent a follow-up person out 3 times to get this right. No payments were expected or collected until work was completed to our satisfaction.

Patrick came out to measure shortly after we contacted CertaPro. We received the proposal shortly thereafter. After comparing a few bids, a contract was signed. Everything was done smoothly. Jamie and his crew arrived punctually on the agreed upon first day to do the power washing. The exterior painting took two days. The crew was very personable and professional. Before we paid for this part of the job, I walked around the house with Jamie. This was sort of a cursory look. I wasn't really able to inspect things up close. I would have appreciated the opportunity to slowly inspect the job and then perhaps the following day pay the invoice. As it turned out we discovered an issue with the paint job several weeks after the painting was completed. The office staff was very receptive to our problem. Jamie and the crew arrived the very next day and took care of the problem. The same crew did the inside painting a few weeks later. The first day was spent sanding and patching. They had to deal with a lot of windows and door frames, so the painting went slowly. They could have been a bit more careful with masking woodwork and in sealing off rooms to prevent sanding dust from penetrating into the house. But overall we are very happy with the work they did.

They did a wonderful job. Always on time, and very professional. Our living room never looked better!

The three painters were very professional and completed the work in a timely fashion. The firtst floor of the home is brick veneer. The second story is wood and with some fir panels, First, the house was pressured washed the week before the painters arrived. The painters came on the day as promised to sand, repair, and caulk where needed. They diligently worked to match the color of our house: this took a couple of days. Once the color was matched, the painters painted and stained the home efficiently and without any mess. We were very pleased with the final product.

It was really good. It's a family business and I like them. The price depends on how big the room is. They were polite and very nice. They cleaned up afterwards and it was good. The price for the painting was reasonable. They were here when they were supposed to be.

I am taking time to writing a review in the middle of a busy move because I am 100% delighted by CertaPro Painters of Lisle. The scheduler returned my request for information within hours, and was able to schedule a quote for the next day. Sales consultant Jenna Cionko arrived promptly for the quote appointment. Jenna was wonderful! She listened to my goals, offered suggestions, prepared a quote on site, and was able to arrange for the painters to come to complete the job within a week. I was very impressed and put at ease by Jenna's professional and friendly approach. She was very helpful in working with the paint that I had on hand, and on painting day, Jenna arrived with the crew to match colors. Armando and Juan spent a very long day completing the painting job, and they regularly checked in with me when they had questions (did I want to leave the nail holes in certain areas to re-hang pictures, for example). They also offered suggestions and pointed out trouble areas that I hadn't noticed. I felt so comfortable with Armando and Juan in my house, that I left to run errands for an hour. When I returned, the owner of the company, Scott Brady, was there to check in. Wow. Armando & Juan did an excellent job with clean up, and my house is totally ready to be listed. The new owners will be lucky to have such a beautifully painted house. Wow. From beginning to end, this was a great experience.

They did not leave enough dry time between the coats and now I have some spots blistering. They have a two year guarantee so I will call them back to fix it. They were courteous and showed up on time.

The experience was very good. The price was okay. I was very happy with them. The lady first came and gave me an estimate. She was very punctual. She printed out the estimate right there so I didn't have to wait or anything. It was two coats. I had other people come and they said one coat. She said that they always do two so I was real happy. They told me 4-6 weeks for scheduling. They came on a Saturday for me to pick out the paint so they worked around my schedule because I work. He put up a little patch of paint to make sure that was what I wanted. He was very helpful in helping me pick out the colors. They started on Monday but it was raining on and off so they came whenever they could. They finished it within a week even though it was a rainy week. It looks great and I am very happy with it. I forgot my coupon that I had. Their price was in-line with everyone else. They were the highest of all but they were giving me two quotes.

The overall paint job was good and it has survived the winter with cracking. I made sure to walk the site with the representatives before the project began to ensure everyone knew what needed to be painted and what colors should be used. While they did paint all areas according to my specifications, they did a number of very questionable things: 1. Completely painted over the doorbell. The doorbell had to be replaced. When they installed the new diode, they did not replace the diode. Since I didn't know where to look for a diode, I ended up having to replace the entire doorbell system (not just the button). 2. Painted right over exterior call boxes tied into the in-home intercom system. While this was frustrating, it was not the end of the world since the system no longer works. 3. Left open box cutter knife in the yard that my 2 year old daughter found a few days after they completed. The owner sincerely apologized for this, but I do believe it's an example of a lack of attention to detail. 4. Painted right over dryer vent, dust and all. This issues was resolved. In the end we have a nicely painted house that took a lot more oversight by me than it should have.

I supplied them with all the paint, primer and materials. The cost was only with the labor. At first, when the job was finished, it looked great. About 3 months past and I could see that they did not use the primer before painting as the wood is peeling and cracking. I'm back down to the bare wood again and it needs to be fixed. (scrapped, primed and painting). It is the worst on the garage door.

The CertaPro office kept me informed of the timing. Marco and Chris showed up on the date and time according to schedule. Marco walked through the planned services to ensure that we both understood the planned services. Marco was very courteous and professional. Marco and Chris kept the site neat and clean. When they completed their work, Marco walked me around the site to verify that everything was done according to plan. Marco and Chris cleaned up the site to its original state. I am extremely satisfied with the work.

She had really good ideas for the house. We really like them but we found someone else that had more to offer. I will consider using them for the next job.

They are excellent. The painters do such great work. They are very respectful towards the house. Their franchised so we use the Naperville location. The job coordinator, Jenna came in and took a look at what we needed to paint so she can assign the painters their work. She is so amazing and helpful. She is very personable and I think she is a huge asset to the company. She is the first person you meet and she is just as nice and helpful as she can be. She really knows what she is doing!

Equipment was stored on the lawn which did kill part of our grass, so I noted that under professionalism.

Everything went really well. I think they are a talented group of individuals. I initially selected a paint color with sheen, but it didn’t look good once I saw sunlight reflecting off of it. CertaPro was very responsive to this issue, and they came back out several times to help resolve it. I think they are professional, and I would give them my recommendation.

I was very impressed with Jenna who came out to do the initial cost estimate. She was helpful, friendly, courteous and very professional. They were willing to amend their original estimate and change the job according to our wishes. There was always phone contact with Cathy who kept us appraised of the job and its timing as the weather was not too good around then. When the time came, Sal called us to let us know he would be starting. I didn't have to be at home at all, just for when they were painting the front door, which was great as I didn't have to have time off work. They were so neat and tidy! When I got home mid-job it was hard to tell they had been there - except for the ladders neatly stored in the back of the house! It only took 3 days. Great job! There is a lot of shrubbery around the house - none damaged. They left us paint so we could touch up in the future. Did a final walk-through with me to be sure I was happy with the job. And I was. A very pleasant and non-stressful experience. I appreciated their professionalism, customer service and job-site etiquette.
