 + -1 moreI refinanced my home with Laura Nolan at American Fidelity Mortgage Services in April 2009. This does not mean that AFMS several years later has the right to use my information or my wifes information whenever they want based on information they have stored from refinancing our home with them over 2 years ago. 2 years later I spoke to Laura Nolan on the phone briefly in August 2011 about the events of the mortage meltdown and current refinance rates. I was looking to possibly refinance again with her. I requested market rate information to refinance my home from Laura Nolan. That was IT. On August 30, 2011 American Fidelity Mortage Services INC, without my authorization, or my wifes authorization deceitfully ran credit checks on both of us. We did not give the representative Laura Nolan or anyone else at AFMS permission to do this nor did we even apply for a loan with AFMS. Before I knew it I was receiving disclosure notices that she had ran my credit score without my authorization and my wifes and that we had applied for a loan with their company. My wife has never even spoken to her. Laura Nolan doesn't seem to know what she is talking about in regards to refinancing anyway. I wouldn't trust this company and strongly recommend you find a good honest one to work with. It appears that many people in the mortgage industry today are just so desperate to acquire business that they will lie, steal, and cheat to do it.

 + -1 moreI worked with Laura Nolan for several weeks on a refinance for my home. Within the first few minutes of talking with Ms. Nolan I could tell that she was very knowledgeable and knew more of what she was talking about than many other loan officers that I spoke with. She was professional and friendly every time I spoke with her during this transaction. The whole time during my experience with her I could always tell that she was looking out for my best interests. She locked me in at the rate she said she could offer within a few days after she received my information. Her fees were minimal and the Good Faith Estimate she provided at the beginning was only off by $3.00 at the end of closing. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an honest and professional mortgage specialist.
